TERRIBLE customer service
I purchased a Treatwell deal for a full set of individual eyelash extensions. On the day, I confirmed with the beautician that I had booked individual lashes. Only to discover, once I’d left and they started to fall out, that they were in fact clusters.
I called and spoke with the manger who very kindly offered me to have the current set removed and replaced complimentary with what I had originally ordered. The manager booked me for a removal and application of individual lashes to happen during one session. When I had my lashes removed the beautician told me that I would usually have to wait a whole week until I got a reapplication due to natural eyelashes having to go back their normal shape. However, she applied them anyway, the removal and the application took 4 hours because of this. I am baffled as to why the manager would lead me to believe that having them removed and applied in one session would be fine.
When I was leaving the manager told me that I must have been ‘confused’ because they don’t have any cluster lashes and only offer individual lashes. I explained that I have had extensions done many times and I know what individual lashes look like when they fall out. She seemed to get very irritated with me and told me that it was probably just my natural lash falling out with the extension. The manger then charged me £30 for these lashes. I have found a cluster that had fallen out from my previous set and attached an image for you to view. As you can see my natural eyelash is the short one poking out the side alas there are 4 artificial lashes making it a cluster, not an individual.
Essentially I have been charged £90 for lashes that I should have only paid £60 for. The manager has clearly misinformed me based on the above.
Not only that the new set of lashes they put on me were an EVEN bigger set of clusters which I specifically said I didn’t want. They have been SO painful and have caused me a lot of discomfort.
I emailed them weeks ago and have just been ignored. Extremely rude and poor service. Do not go here.
Hi I just visited the Ashton store had…
Hi I just visited the Ashton store had pedicure the first bit was lovely after that was shocking. Gel polish all over my skin and my right foot was sore underneath they didn’t even fill a client card in for me which they should. I have a beauty salon and wouldn’t even let my clients go out feeling or looking like that she wanted £27 I give her £15 for the first bit she did I’m not a happy customer at all this was my first pedicure experience as well I definitely won’t be returning and I’m not a person that complains
Ideluxe mani and pedi
I had a deluxe mani and pedi. The pedi was fantastic but the mani was rushed and I was told to leave when it wasn't even set yet as a new customer was arriving. This resulted in my mani being ruined when putting my coat on.
Bizarre experience
Bizarre experience. Pre-booked for two pedicures when we arrived they had no idea about the booking and hadnt told us there was only one spa chair. Weren't apologetic, but instead confrontational. The whole ordeal lasted 2 and a half hours instead of 25 minutes and my beautician wasn't wearing her glasses for the first 20 minutes. They didn't remove hard skin from my feet or do any cuticle work they advertised for and refused to take money off for this saying the manager wasn't there even when I requested to speak to them about the false advertising. In terms of atomsphere, aside from the hostility, it's open onto the mall where people where arguing and added to this at one point a colleague started hammering in the corner. Today our nails have started to peel off. Incredibly unsuccessful pedicure, do not advise.
I will give this salon a big zero
I will give this salon a big zero . Very unprofessional stuff and Liar receptionist as I have been going here since June for my waxing and they make me Buy a package of 6 times and pay all in advance. So I did paid for 6 times in advance and have done only 2 times my waxing there after that whenever I go there or call there for an appointment they don’t have time for me. I have been there today at 14:30 and there ware 3 stuff sitting and talking to each others while there was no customer when I ask them for waxing they said yes then they find out I have the package , then they said oh no we are busy we don’t have time one lady said she will go on her lunch they made excuses while they ware free and there was no customer in the salon. But still they refused to do my waxing because I had paid in advance the package of 6 times.
I will try to get the rest of my money back if not then I will have to take a legal action against this lies.
They are just trying to take your money the rest they don’t care about the service.
They keep lying to you with offers just to make you pay more money.
WAIST OF YOUR MONEY . Not recommended
Poor customer service If you want good customer service as a standard then this is not, I repeat NOT the place to go. Stay clear.. better find somewhere else.
No PPE
The basic experience was fine and I was happy enough with the treatment, but unfortunately there was no PPE in sight until I asked them to put it on, at which they just put a mask on. I would not go back, based on this
Singhar Beauty - West End. Nasty and unprofessional.
Booked a hollywood and under arm wax via Groupon. This was my first time going there and I have never been more violated in my life.
She acted as if she barely wanted to touch me. She did an incomplete, rushed job. Hairs were broken, not pulled out.
She used an excess amount of powder, and told me that the powder was used because "vaginas smell". She was extremely rough and I had to ask her to be gentle more than once, she clearly didn't care.
Once she had finished, she aggressively squeezed an oil serum over my vagina, threw a cotton pad on my stomach & told me to wipe myself down instead of doing it herself as that is included in the service.
Very nasty and unprofessional. Worst customer service experience I have ever had.
When you go for a wax, you don't expect to be treated like an infectious animal.
I had my eyebrows threaded today…
I had my eyebrows threaded today (21/12/2019 at 11:15) at Unit 37 Howard Centre, Welwyn Garden City. They were so rush and did a very bad job with so many hair left untouched. I really think that old lady has a eyesight problem.
Highly recommend
Highly recommend. Very good service and friendly environment.
Hot wax: underarms and hollywood
I did not read the reviews before i went, but i saw a great offer on Groupon and decided to go for it. It is conveniently situated by tottenham court road station, above a sweet shop. It was very clean when i entered and the staff were very friendly. I was seen at the time of my appointment and taken to a beauty room. I was seen by Raman and she was amazing. I cannot recommend her enough. She was super quick and knew exactly what she was doing. She seems very experienced with waxing and did a perfect, thorough job! I will be visiting again, as they have some really good offers in the salon for waxing!
Terrible Rochdale salon
I used the Rochdale salon and I thoroughly regret that decision.
The beautician was terrible, unhygienic and not trained in hot wax. First she didn’t speak English so tried to give me a strip wax when I paid for hot wax. She used the same spatula instead of changing it which can cross contaminate the wax. She didn’t complete a Brazilian wax and left a lot of hair and let me leave covered in wax which has cause irritation. She also tried to remove the wax the wrong way causing bruising. Terrrible service and the beautician admitted she wasn’t trained in giving hot wax treatments.
My Consulation form was ignored
My Consulation form was ignored - After TWO visits to the salon to discuss the radio frequency treatment I was considering for my jawline (which i had every two days this was not necessary weekly would have been fine, in fact weekly is recommended by most salons) I was encouraged and finally was convinced that even thought I don't have an issue with wrinkles or lines but i was told that having dermal aesthetics facials with the radio frequency would be really beneficial and far more effective overall. So i booked to have both. After completing a consultation form which states is for customer safety and to make sure you have suitable treatments for your skin etc. Not only did i clearly inform the manager and clearly stated on my form that i have very sensitive skin, reacted to a lot of products in the past, and it was likely i could have an allergic reaction, it also stated that I only used vitamin e oil on my face. I expressed my concerns on both visits with regard to having the dermal treatment i was assured the products were natural and very unlikely i would react. I had a reaction on the first treatment but i was told it was normal it wasn't so obvious but people did comment that my skin looked very sore, on the 2nd one my face was burning red and my eyes had an allergic reaction to the products , which took nearly a month to calm down thanks to the Dermalogica hypoallergenic facial and calming treatments i had after. When the therapist touched my face she commented that it was burning hot and my eyes showed the exact signs of a reaction and i asked her to take a photo. The other therapist didn't really care and they kept trying to say it was a normal reaction the other therapist said you have clearly had a reaction you can see from the bumps and redness and swelling around the eyes that you have had a reaction. Upshot is Ii paid for a course of treatments two did the damage and the other 2 were ok. They did nothing to make up for this except try to sell me products at a discount I am in the process of taking the matter further and have taken a copy of my consultation for which was totally ignored by the manager and therapist. I should have not gone ahead especially as i didn't really want a wrinkle treatment facial in the first place (should have trusted my instincts) but i did feel pushed to buy and believed that it would work well and after they looked at my form they said it should be fine with the radio frequency i wanted to have. I am very disappointed that i trusted them and even after i tried to explain my skin was bad the therapist was still trying to insist i have the other dermal treatments , this is probably because she was booked to do them was not qualified to use Dermalogica products so I had to have another therapist do the corrective facials with Dermalogica Calming products which i had to check were hypoalergenic , the manager didn't know. The manager said she would be at the salon so i could show her my face at the next appointment but she didn't show up so i had to more or less argue it out with the therapist who wanted to continue with the treatment i clearly had a reaction to. The manager also gave me an eye cream which contained retinol this is the cream that caused the allergic reaction around my eyes. i didn't know she was not across the actual composition of the products, so she should not have given me anything. The creams the other therapist gave me where hypoallergenic and calming samples which were fine but the retinol cream the manager gave me caused an instant reaction . I have emailed the manager to ask if they plan to do anything about it so it doesn't happen again. It could have been a lot more serious especially around the eye area as an extreme reaction in this area can effect eye sight and take months to heal internally and externally. What is the point of filling out the forms then they ignore them. It all ended up being really stressful and a total waste of money. The radio frequency was ok and i may have continued with it if they should more concern about the damage caused to my skin by the dermal aesthetic products which were used on it. It took weeks before my skin felt 100% normal again when i explained how i felt the manager sent a message via the therapist to say i could have some products at a discount, not a great attitude . After meeting her the first time i did expect better from her.
***Sugar wax***
I had sugar wax done today by Rama. She was friendly and professional. The treatment was quick, painless and effective. The room was clean. I would recommend.
AVOID AVOID AVOID
Worst experience of getting my nails done - AVOID!
The lady was clearly inexperienced didn’t even use a machine to shape my nails (I was having acrylics done) and the tips all fell off THE SAME EVENING! This should not happen with acrylic nails... she took 2 hours and 15 minutes which is ridiculous... DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!
Don’t do it
Hi,
Today I went to to the Eastleigh branch to have a thread and tint, after I paid I had noticed that she had taken a massive chunk out of my eyebrows and they were barely tinted.. when I asked her for my money back she refused and said it was already there, which it certainly wasn’t. In the end I had to walk away because she refused blankly to do anything about it.
Worst place to get semi-permanent…
Worst place to get semi-permanent lashes ever. After a week of having a full set which I paid £60 for I am left with barley lashes on my eyes. As I am someone who gets my lashes done regular with out fail and I am also a lash technician. I know that this is not how it’s should be. I called and asked to speak to a manager regarding my complaint as I didn’t want the technician to feel uncomfortable. The manager did not come on the phone and left me to complain to the receptionist. They offered me to comeback and get a full set for half price and tried to blame the full out on myself. When I originally made my appointment I asked for a certain lady, which they said was busy and told me they had someone else who has had 10 years experience. This was most definitely a lie as the lady was not old enough to have 10 years worth experience. When I mentioned to them why they had lied they had nothing to say and tried to back track on what they had said. As a paying costumer I received the bare minimum customer service and the manager failed to play a roll. Since this place has changed management the customers service has gone extremely down hill. When I walked in I was confused how comes they were empty but I now know the reason. Not some where who looks after their customers. I would rather loose £60 then to come back to a place with such deverstaing customer service.
I wish I could give it zero stars!
I wish I could give it zero stars! Here is the email I sent on 15 Oct 2017 and have still not had a response from the salon and a mediocre response from HD Brows who clearly just like to sell their procedure and make money on training and products but don't actually take any responsibility of the salons selling the treatment!
FAO Mr Saleem/ HD BRows,
I went in to Edgware Singhar Branch seeking a walk in appointment for HD Brows yesterday at approximately 10:30 am. I was approached by Afifa who asked if I had booked an appointment, which I hadn't and she asked me to take a seat. She asked me what I wanted by showing me pictures of thin eyebrows on the wall on a poster. I told her I am growing mine to be thicker and I want her to stencil the shape first. She then proceeded with the tint and removed it with a cotton bud and tissue and did not even clean the area before applying wax. As she applied the wax I asked her is she not suppose to stencil the shape using thread and pencil before waxing to show me what it would look like and she just ignored me and waxed off my lower right eyebrow. At this point she should have removed the wax and stencilled the shape first to frame my face.
As you can see in the images my right eyebrow is very arched and thin as result. She was supposed to stencil my shape fully to frame my face but she didn't which I'm sure HD Brows treatment is all about - framing the face! Her manager Royani agreed that Afifa had taken too much off and should have stencilled the shape first. She then took over by removing the dye and continuing and attempting to make them look similar by threading them. Throughout this ordeal I was upset and in tears as my 7 years of growth had been completely destroyed by Afifa. I have been growing my eyebrows for the past 7 years and have been having HD brows treatment since, using their products to help grow and define my brows daily. I know exactly how the treatment is supposed to be hence the reason I would question what Afifa was doing but she just ignored me. She showed no remorse and I even had to ask her to apologise. Your staff were later speaking in Hindi which I understood, stating that I should have been turned away if I did not book an appointment with Mandy; this clearly indicates another member of staff should have done my treatment and not Afifa. In 10 seconds Afifa who clearly was not competent, who could not even produce a certificate and did not follow the process at all ruined everything and has caused me so much damage and disrepair. There is nothing I can do to fix this aside from applying extortionate amounts of product daily and wait another 7 years to get back to where I was. I am going to have my engagement in 5 weeks and I cannot believe these images will sit with me for the rest of my life!
In an attempt to fix my brows I had to ask Royani repeatedly to stencil them as I would using the HD Brows vampire palette and beater so I know what it would look like before taking any more hairs off. The pictures clearly show the eyebrows are irreparable, I am left distraught with Afifa's actions and Royani's attempt to fix my brows that I am contemplating microblading as it's so embarrassing!
HD Brows - I don't know how this salon is allowed to operate selling your treatment like this? I would strongly urge your services are removed as the staff do not have a clue how to do this treatment. I will now have to daily spend time and money on your products to revert back to where I was. This has taken me 7 years and has left me embarrassed to even walk out of the house so I hope you take some serious action against Singhar who have completely destroyed all the time and money I have put in with HD Brows treatments and products in an instance and made me look ridiculous in the process, that too right before my engagement ceremony.
I want this investigated and I expect a response from both Mr Saleem and HD Brows in how you intend to address this and compensate me for the trouble and damage that has been caused and the removal of permits to practice HD Brows.
