Will never buy again

Will never buy again! Had to pay additional fees for customs and taxes upon delivery, due to the products being shipped from outside of EU. This was NOT indicated at all while checking out, neither could I find this on the FAQ. Total ripoff. Shipping took multiple weeks.

Update 23/10/2024: We have contacted Sitpack as indicated in their response to this review. However, we have not received any response. A reminder was sent today.

So far, the promised refund has NOT been received.

UPDATED: Positive Response // Claims confirmed Order was incorrect, wont send product

Second edit: Sitpack sent the items as they stated they would, updating to 5 stars. Also, having used the product heavily over the last week, I can confirm the product is amazing.

I will begin by saying the product itself is great.

Sitpack is playing bait and switch on the order, though.

I contacted them to receive the missing "Ground sheets" and to let them know they made a mistake with the seat covers. Here is the confirmed order below, both by email and as it still states on the online order form on their page:

Glow in The Dark Feet × 2
Survey Selection - Fleece Seat Warmer × 2
Survey Selection - Quilted Seat Warmer × 2

I received 2 sets of the "feet"
I received 4 quilted warmers.

They obviously knew I ordered 4 because they sent me 4. When I asked for the 2 incorrect covers to be replaced they now claim I only get 2 and need to send back the extra covers.

I am not sure they understand what a confirmed order is. This was part of the paid extra I confirmed for the "feet", an order processed outside of the Kickstarter platform. If they made a mistake, that is on them, not me.

I will keep this updated.

Backed campster 2 on kickstarter more than a year ago, where they promissed deliverance summer 23.. still nothing, except an extra bill for higer freight.

I haven't received my Campster 2 chair…

I haven't received my Campster 2 chair yet eventhough I was an "Early Bird" backer way back in April NO update when I will ever receive this chair!....I've written Sitpack Customer Service a few times and got the SAME reply...I even contacted KickStarter told them this seemed a little "sketchy".....So who knows!...I could be wrong and the chair might mysterious show up????

I think this is a scam Kickstart…

I think this is a scam Kickstart campaign. Too many cycles of updates, pushing you back to their ecomm site trying to upsell you to add to your original pledge, with the promise of "oh just one more issue to iron out before we ship" followed by "sorry there has been another delay". Come on Sitpack, prove me wrong by actually delivering on your pledges.

Backed the campster 2 on kickstarter and shipping was due to start in August. It’s November and looks like no one has received any chairs and no responses or updates. Feels like a scam here.

Be Careful!!!!

As the previous client said I preorder a steel carabiner (octo) on May 2022.After 6 months they asked me 10 more $ for the titanium one because the steel version had run out!I refused and asked for refund.
Then start to find out what kind of company they are…..After a month no response and no refund!!!!Keep away!!!They are not act with an professional and Honest way…no product and no refund!!!!

Dishonest company.

Dishonest company.
Sent money. Long time did not hear. Chased after carabiner order advised they did not have the steel and I could pay 10usd more to get titanium.
Again long time no hear.
Contact them and they told me they ran out of the titanium.
They have no communication with those who pay them. No curtesy.
AVOID THEM

DIdn't receive the goods and get no response to emails

I backed the development of the siTpack Campster on Indiegogo and, like many, many others did not receive the chairs I paid for. I accept some funding campaigns fail, that's just a risk one takes when backing projects, but that's not the case with this company as these chairs are openly for sale on their web site. It appears they were happy to take my money without supplying the goods.

I've had all their SitPack models...

I ordered the original SitPack, the SitPack Zen and the new Campster. I got all of these through KickStarter so there was a good year long wait before they arrived. The SitPack and SitPack Zen both broke, rattling in the tubes and eventually didnt work at all. The Campster however seems to be robust and so far is working ok, albeit a little difficult to grip as the posts are so thin. I was sent a new SitPack original and Zen (due to previous ones being faulty) so this is really great customer services, and they do respond to queries regardless of what other reviews have said on here, they are a legitimate business and are not scammers. Thank you

Company just will not reply to or acknowledge attempts to contact them.

This company has the most appalling customer service. I can't even say it's their response I'm unhappy with - the problem is I can't even get a response! I have tried to contact Sitpack several times recently, via Facebook, Messenger, WhatsApp, email, and the Indigogo platform. All I am trying to do is change, or make sure they have the correct, shipping address for a Campster chair I backed via Indiegogo. No matter what I do, I cannot get a reply from anyone. I've begged them to reply but I've had no response whatsoever. It's so poor.

Maybe not as bad as I first thought

I had posted a negative review having paid for something and after a few weeks received no response to my increasingly frustrated attempts at communication. The seller has now been in touch, seems very nice and has given some reassurance. I still haven't received what I thought I'd bought but fingers crossed a train from China arrives in August. I have other sitpack products and worth mentioning that they're great!

Absolutely useless company!

Absolutely useless company!

Placed 2 orders then realised i needed to cancel so used the message on the website..........nothing, so i did it again........nothing. So i emailed........nothing, so i sent a whatsapp......this was replied to saying it had already been dispatched even though the tracking clearly showed that it had not even been collected and only a request to collect had been raised, so i whatsapp'd back........you guessed it, nothing. Today i have recieved and email saying they have no records of me trying to cancel even though they were replying to an email that was sent to cancel the orders. Numerous requests for help, numerous times i have been ignored.
AVOID THIS COMPANY!

A Strange Request

Ordered siTpack Zen X-ii at the beginning of May 2021. Money was immediately taken from my account. However, they promptly emailed me to say they could not dispatch the goods till I sent them my ID plus my last 4 credit card digits.

They stated any ID would suffice, so, I sent them a copy of a utility bill validating my name and address.

They replied immediately stating the ID should be a copy of my driving licence or passport.
As this aroused my suspicions. I decided to cancel the order and asked them for a refund. I await their response with trepidation and wonder if their promptness will be maintained.

Rubbish rubbish rubbish I would give no…

Rubbish rubbish rubbish I would give no stars if I could... I have a Sitpack but never been able to use it because when I finally got it (6months late) I took it out the box and the foot fell out split in two... have spent over six months trying to get a replacement part only to be fobbed off by each person who replied to my email... I hate when people hide behind covid as this started three months before it did!! I have Danish friends who are horrified at this company’s behaviour..... I’m at the point of ceremonial burning it and posting on YouTube.....
