I did the Fire Marshall and 1st Aid training. Both courses were great especially the detailed 1st Aid. It was interactive which helps remembering what to do in emergencies.
Location: Worcester branch. Trainer: Karl Griffiths. Course: First Aid at Work. Date: 04/06/26.
The course was delivered excellently by Karl in an enjoyable and engaging way.
I had an excellent experience with St John Ambulance. The trainers were knowledgeable, professional, and made the first aid course engaging and easy to understand. The practical exercises helped build my confidence in responding to emergencies. The staff were friendly, well-organized, and always willing to answer questions. I left the course feeling much more prepared to help others in a medical emergency. I would highly recommend St John Ambulance to anyone looking for high-quality first aid training.
Attended the Fire Warden course. The information provided was well presented, clear concise and helpful for the future.
The trainer was amazing, her methods were very detailed and to the point. S
Very good course fantastic instructor clear in what she was saying
All staff were very helpful, explained all instructions clearly, questions were answered with simple to understand answers, the atmosphere in the 3 days I was there was fantastic everyone was friendly and willing to help each other.
I recently completed the 3-Day First Aid at Work course in Liverpool, and it was genuinely one of the best training experiences I’ve had. Our trainer, Ross, was absolutely incredible from start to finish. He explained everything clearly, thoroughly, and in a way that made the most important aspects of first aid feel easy to understand and remember. You could immediately tell how knowledgeable and passionate he is about what he teaches. Ross created such a welcoming and comfortable environment for everyone on the course. He was approachable, engaging, and made the sessions enjoyable as well as informative, andI’ll genuinely miss our chats during the breaks! He also handled sensitive topics with a huge amount of care and professionalism, always checking in on people and making sure everyone felt comfortable and respected. One thing that also really stood out was how passionate Ross is about mental health awareness. He naturally incorporated discussions around mental health into aspects of the course where appropriate, and did so excellently. It added a really important human element to the training and showed how much he genuinely cares about people, not just ticking boxes in a course.
I would also like to make one suggestion to St John. I believe organisations such as St John should consider investing in female CPR training mannequins as well. Ross did explain clearly how to treat an unresponsive woman and addressed the topic professionally, but I think having female CPR dolls available would be extremely valuable for training purposes. Women are statistically less likely to receive life-saving CPR in emergencies, often because people feel more uncomfortable or uncertain. Female bodies exist, and greater investment in female health representation in training environments would be a really positive step forward.
Overall, this was an excellent course, and Ross was a huge part of that. He is a credit to St John, and I would highly recommend this course to anyone considering first aid training.
The training was very well delivered, the trainer was very good, and explained topics really well and although some topics were difficult, the trainer was good a covering them in a sensitive way, and also the training was interactive which made it more interesting…
Very thorough and thoughtful training with a human touch and plenty of personal attention. Totally enjoyed my course, learnt loads even though it was my third first aid course.
I completed a first aid course today I'm Coventry with the lovely Sharon ! It was such an informative day and Sharon really kept the group engaged by being so lovely and adding her own little spin of humour into the session, really helped with my anxiety of being in a group of people I didn't know. I've learnt such a lot today and honestly could see just how much Sharon loves her job. Thank you for a really good day Sharon!
It was a real eye opening course, and was brilliantly teacher by Paul,in Maidstone.
Sharon strong & Jason Thompson They were really professional. I was happy with the training.

The host lied to us in order to obtain our personal information. Awarded 2 stars instead of 1 as they did come clean about it. We were also unable to test/use the fire extinguishers as we were told the venue was not suitable, which begs the question why was the venue selected if it was not fit for purpose.
Trainer was excellent, very knowledgeable about all subjects. Course covered everything I thought it would and more. Could use some follow up as to how to implement into the company.
There were some works arranged for the same day of our course, felt these should have been arranged for another time as it was quite disruptive.
