Cancelled order with no communication 4 days before Christmas

I ordered a gold course to be sketched for my partners christmas gift on 24th November via On The High Street. This order was accepted. I heard nothing. It stated due to be dispatched on 12th December. I emailed on 17th to ask for an update to no reply. I sent a further message on 19th. On 21st I noticed on the account the order had been refunded with no contact or apology from the seller.

So disappointing. Looks like a fab company - a little bit of communication would have gone a long way as if this order had arrived after Christmas I could have gifted it for January birthday - but instead my order was cancelled and refunded without this being requested.

Be aware.
