I was actually really surprised to see the negative reviews on here as I came on (unsolicited) to say what great customer service (and products) I have received.
I can only judge them by my own experience and
have now ordered twice from this company and both times have been impressed with the customer service, delivery and products.
This included a long drawn out phone call where I didn't really know what I needed and found the staff really patient and helpful.
Skirting boards are beautiful and arrived on date and within 2 hour slot given.

Really cannot understand the negative comments. I have ordered from Skirting4u on at least 3 or more occasions. I have been very happy with their customer service, communication and most importantly their product. I will be ordering more from Skirting4u in the near future. Real sorry that some other customers have not had the same experience.

I ordered 3 metres of 170mm torus skirting board and when it arrived it was snapped 600mm in. I obviously contacted skirting4u to ask why I should pay for 3 metres when I only received 2.4 metres. I'm still waiting for a reply. Avoid these clowns

Poor customer and manager experience. The product was delivered to the wrong address, Spoken to 3 reps and manager Jasey and was alerted this occurred 3 days ago.

Avoid! We ordered 5 x 4.2m skirting boards that were supposed to be 105mm height. One of the boards was 105mm at one end and only 100mm at the other end. We only discovered this after trying to fit a small cut from the shorter end.

This is substandard. These are MDF boards. You can't go wrong with a man-made product unless you do not know how to cut it or you do not have the right machines to cut it, or both.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this company. And if for any reason you end up ordering from them, measure all boards at each end.

Amazing company - used several times. Awesome product and love the feature of emails every step of the way telling you at what stage your product is in the manufacturing process! Bonus delivered by a friendly driver 😊 I wouldn't use any other company.

If you order a number of architrave door sets they won't sent you sets, they send lengths – even if you specify you want sets. And then, refuse to take any responsibility for having sent you what you didn't order, they just say that's how it is done. Why allow a customer to order over a certain number of sets then without even letting them know what they will receive? Very disappointed.

After a bad experience with a different supplier, I was happy I gave Skirting4u a try. The product quality was excellent, and customer service was quick to respond, efficient, friendly and fair. Highly recommended.

Just recieved my 3rd or 4th order, spread over 3+ years as we’ve done up various rooms in our house and thought I’d leave this as I’ve had a consistently great experience.

Website offers lots of choice and some beautiful styles of skirting you can’t get elsewhere. Skirting is good quality and everything we installed 3+ years ago still looks as it did - no warping or bowing.

Every order we’ve had has been delivered on time with great communication. Deliveries have been from drivers who took time to make sure the items were somewhere we wanted.

The packaging can slip a bit and we’ve had a few scratches, but nothing I think is unacceptable given the awkward size and shape of the items.

We’re just over half way through the house now and will continue to use skirting4u skirting and architrave :)

Quite expensive when you add in delivery charge etc for a basic skirting board, their return policy is a joke, had to order from b&q in the end just easier and safer in terms of returns and skirting board was of a better quality too

Our Skirting Board arrived damaged, broken in two, mouldy, incorrect and with outer wrapping fallen off. This was dumped outside our house. The doorbell was not rung and door not knocked, so could have resulted in being taken by anyone. Damaged and incorrect item now collected, but have to wait a week for my refund!!!!! Disgusted!!!! DO NOT USE!!!!

Im a keen DIYer and was looking for skirting etc to do up room. Came across skirting4u and was very impressed with site. Detailed and easy to understand. Placed order, came on time and was sent an email to tell me what time delivery would be made. Order was clearly labelled and all in order. Ordered an item less and contacted office. Staff on phone was professional and polite. Very happy and will recommend and use again

Large choice of cuts, designs and sizes. Could choose a delivery day when ordering and they updated me with a 1h delivery window the day before which was very helpful, and they arrived on time. Better priced than DIY stores. Good quality- I would say only one skirt had some paint remnant from primer on it, and it picked off easily. Really pleased with results now that they are installed.

Disappointingly my order was not loaded on to the delivery truck which resulted in the delivery being a day late and meant cancelling a fitter. Was told it would be delivered the next morning - it's 2pm and there's no sign of it yet.

We ordered a rooms worth of skirting and picture rail to be installed in a staged fashion in our Victorian house project. 2nd part of skirting missing from delivery and came next day water damaged as if it had been left out in the rain overnight. Quick replacement arranged. We then wrote off the end of last week to get all the picture rails up but on opening packaging all were damaged as if they had been packed with the primer still wet. Again resolved very quickly and now have replacement lengths to finish job off.

I wanted to order skirting board covers for a small 6ft by 6ft bathroom, I need just over 3m of skirting. After selecting my choice from a nice, wide range and adding measurements the price was around £32.14 Delivery charge of £16.50 and VAT almost doubled the price so I have decided not to place the order. I was going to place more orders for the whole house as I decorate each room but the delivery charge and VAT push the cost up far too much. Shame!

Appalling let down.
I'm still waiting fir second half of delivery which has apparently been lost by delivery firm
Paid for specific day delivery and morning slot. Big disappointment as didn't arrive at all that day.
Asked for delivery after 5pm next day got home to find it dumped on drive on busy road lucky no one drove over it also that it didn't rain.
Company very apologetic but like others here I work to tight schedule have limited time off and plumbing and carpet fitters time dependent on this.
Wish I'd read reviews before.

So I've ordered from this company twice now and on both occasions I've had messages saying there was a mistake with delivery meaning it would would delayed. Frustrating as I planned time off to collect the delivery and fit. But both times this was delayed.

The first time I ordered aswell, the skirting wasn't actually finished! I paid for it to be primed but the skirting board hadn't even been sanded down properly! Which meant me having to sand it all down, prime and then paint. For the second order it was slightly better but still needed sanding and painting again. I won't be using this company again, I'd recommend people look elsewhere as it's frustrating not knowing when you're going to get an order and to what standard when it actually does arrive
