Great site with very fast shipping!! They have seemingly made a big change with this new ownership that is a person and not some big corporation!

Beware- Don't Order From This Company!

Sent me the wrong size pants, which I returned. Took over three weeks and multiple phone calls to get my refund, which they took $35 from for a "restock fee" that I knew nothing about! You wont stay afloat with those practices.

Bad business and I will continue to scream it from the roof tops!

Skis.com is a Joke

Promo code from this company's own website did not work on their website!? Nobody answers phones sometimes or staffs the chat option. They told me a week back the 10% promo would be applied to my order per their website failure. Called back wk later after no credit, guess they changed their mind. Stay sane; go elsewhere. Skis-com is joke & their customer service can't stand up straight. Sad...

Horrible customer service! Don't buy from them!

Horrible customer service. I purchased something in November that came with a $50 promo code that could only be used the following January. When I remembered I had a promo code to use it was too late. I contacted their customer service and they said there was nothing they could do.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. Absolutely horrible experience. Had to refund something that did not fit and it was an absolute nightmare. Took forever to answer emails and always giving me the run around. Never ever again would I order. Horrible.

The worst and the most deceitful return policy ever

I ordered a jacket from Skis.com, while checking out, they did indicate that the jacket is a special order, which takes longer time to process. After I received the jacket, I then decided to return it, and further found out (from their return policy page) that they charge a % re-stocking fee for special order. My jacket is $515, 25% would be$130 ..., how can this be possible ... I have never heard of any online shopping website charge such a big amount for re-stocking fee, and plus when I was checking out the item, they only tell me nothing about the 25% return fee but only saying special order takes longer time to process ...

I also argue with their customer support, I told them if they care about their customer, if they are customer focus, they can simply waive the re-stocking fee for me just for this time, so that I know they do care about their customer and I will return to buy something from them next time, WHICH IS A WIN-WIN SOLUTION. However, their support was so strong about their policy and didn't want to do anything for me. I believe everything is negotiable, we are human, rules are designed by us, if the rules doesn't make sense, we have to change it, if you really care your customer you know.

Liars and thieves

Returned Nordic ski boots to skis.com on 12.26.19. Package signed for and accepted by an Associate on 12.31.2019. On 1.9.2020 got a call saying I sent them a bike pedal instead of Nordic ski boots. What?! I don’t even own a bike. Sent them tracking with my package dimensions, weight (a bike pedal doesn’t weigh 4.8lbs) and they still accused me of sending the wrong item back, or someone in transit or a the mom and pop shipping store employee (who is a sweet older lady) must have opened my box and replaced the item with something else, after sitting in their possession for over a week UNATTENDED and NOT processed. (waited well over a week to tell me wrong item not when they opened it up to check the contents when they got it. which is bulls***). They will not process my refund. Don’t shop with them- they’ll just lie saying you sent the wrong item back and there’s nothing you can do about it except write negative reviews. Horrible company- shop at backcountry.com or even better- shop locally where people own up to their mistakes!

Do NOT order if you're in Canada

I ordered $1200 worth of equipment from Skis.com. I paid $150 in shipping and was clearly informed that no Shipping & Duties. Turns out, FedEx Cross Border requested $128 if fees, duties and taxes per shipment, and.. or course, Skis.com sent 4 shipments. So, something around $500 in duties and tax. 20 days after ordering, customer service couldn't tell me (a) where the equipment was in transit, (b) expected deliver date, or (c) how much the exact duties and taxes would be. #returned Christmas gift for kids fail.

Strongly recommend NOT ordering if you are in Canada.

Buyer beware

I purchased bindings for my son at end of ski season (4/2019) for his new skis. Flash forward to now (10/2019) and no ski shop will mount them. The require a special jig that apparently no one has. Skis.com will not let me return so now I have unusable equipment and they lost me as a customer. Recommended evo.com

Bait & Switch

They listed a pair of prior season girls skis & bindings for a pretty good, but fairly standard discounted price (you can always get prior model year ski equipment substantially discounted in the off-season from many, many vendors). I ordered and paid for them. They sent me an order confirmation. A few days later they e-mailed me and said there would be a shipping delay and I said no problem, we're not going skiing until December. Then a few days later they e-mailed me and said that my item was actually out of stock and offered to let me know about similar replacements. I found the exact same ski in the exact same size on their website, but with a different graphic, also a prior model year ski that other retailers are discounting and suggested they just send that one since it's essentially exactly what I had already paid for. However, they then tried to charge me full MSRP, which was almost double what I had already paid.

Nobody in their right mind would pay full price for prior season skis under any circumstances and they certainly wouldn't agree to double the price they're paying to receive what they had already paid for, but still hadn't because of the retailer's screw up. I declined their absurd offer. Then they offered a completely different product, in a bigger size that anybody who knows anything about skiing would know couldn't work for the same sized child, for a higher price, which I obviously declined.

Stay away from this company. There are a ton of great retailers of outdoor/ski/snowboarding equipment online that promptly send you exactly what you've already ordered and paid for and won't try to make more money off of you after they have your money and fail to deliver what you've already bought. Go elsewhere.

Ordered a pair of ski boots and they…

Terrible service. Ordered a pair of ski boots and they sent me the wrong size not once but TWICE and in the end, said they didn't have my size (even though it was listed online). Wasted 5 weeks of skiing, had to rent boots and the best they could offer was 10% off a different (much more expensive) pair. TERRIBLE service.

My husband ordered me a pair of skis…

My husband ordered me a pair of skis from this company and paid for overnight shipping. Several days later, we don't have the skis and no one will respond to emails that have been sent trying to get updates. Calling their customer service number is a joke. My husband called, was transferred to VM and then disconnected before he could leave a message. Taking someone's money for overnight shipping and not shipping the item as agreed (or at all, in our case) is fraud. Based on reading the other review here and reviews on other sites, it seems this is business as usual for this company. We'll be filing a complaint with Amazon and our credit card company. I would definitely take your business elsewhere.

terrible customer service

I am sorry to have to leave a very negative review of skis.com as they did not deliver the two sets of ski boots I ordered for my daughters for our ski trip. I ordered two day delivery and paid extra for the expedited shipping. They did not even ship the order out until 3 days after I ordered and it arrived 3 days later after we had already left on our ski trip. To make matters worse, I called them several times and never spoke to a live person and never got a return call. Then after I returned, I called again and still no response and had to spend an additional $48.00 to return the ski boots. So I had to buy the ski boots in Telluride for double the price. I would look elsewhere to order any ski products as they obviously do not care about their customers.
