Had to return but excellent service
Had to give the glasses back as the varifocal lenses made me feel very disorientated. However the return process and overall customer service was excellent. This is why I'll be definitely purchasing my single vision prescription sunglasses from here

Great experience ordering from SmartBuyGlasses! The glasses arrived right on time, and the lenses are absolutely fantastic—my vision is very clear, and the prescription is highly accurate. The frames are a little loose on my face and will need a quick adjustment at a local optician, but overall I am very happy with the quality and service.

OK, so here is an update on an order that originally didn’t go well… when you shop online, delivery and a number of other factors can sometimes cause delays and make the experience a pain. This happened. The response is what separates good retailers from bad! Although delayed, the support team resolved my issue & been great to deal with, completing my order and keeping me up to date! Recommend.

AVOID!!! 1 month and still no glasses!!!
Very poor and very slow!!! STILL NO GLASSES AFTER A MONTH!!! Sent my prescription, but they required a ‘hand signed’ copy from my Opticians (after taking my money), which I had to collect in person (defeating the option of buying online). After two weeks they then shipped the glasses, which DPD have now lost, a further two weeks have now passed and no replacement or refund has been given. Tomorrow I leave for an international road trip, and have no glasses! AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

I also wanted to explain why we asked for a hand signed prescription. Before we can make prescription glasses, we have to make sure the prescription is valid. This isn't meant to make things difficult. It's a safety step that helps us make sure your glasses are made correctly and meet optical regulations.
I understand that the delay and the delivery issue have made this a very disappointing experience.

Poorly made prescription glasses
Poorly made prescription glasses. Unprofessional. Based in China. There is no 100 day return or refund policy. For repairs they ask you to do it! Non responsible company. Avoid and don't fall for the discounts. Its cheap for a reason.
They score high reviews as you get the service if you give them a positive review! I have deleted my positive review!

AI driven customer service
Exception long delays in delivering an item that was in stock - so much so cancelled my order.
Any emails i sent were answered with AI (....hello my name is [insert random name here]. I understand.....)
I sent lots of emails about an intermediate prescription which were never answered by a human, as a human would have understood the problem, and not repeated quesitons from previous emails.
I've found a company in the UK, which ...has online and a phonenumber...and person i can speak to....crazy..
They are cheap.....but i wonder why.
