Had what I thought was a very good interaction with Snappy Snaps ...... until I didn't .
I will start from the beginning . I needed UK style passport photos . Great , will go to Snappy Snaps as every one I know has used them , and has rated them highly . Got my photos done , and the senior member of staff , who by the way was helpful and knowledgable seemed to make it look easy , they even tested the shot taken , by seeing if it would pass on the gov.uk passport site , which it did.
So , if it went smoothly , why would I give them a low score ? Well , I made the honest mistake of leaving my wallet behind , I only found out afterwards when I got home , and realised , left front pocket was light , (this is where I keep my wallet and keys ), I checked ALL my pockets , and my bag , and it was obvious to the mistake I made . I did call , but the line was not the best , as it was a landline , and the colleague I spoke to was sure no items were left behind . I myself , have worked in retail , and sometimes items can be misplaced and put in other locations for safe keeping , as per company advice / guidelines , various companies usually vary info from place to place , manager to manager , etc , etc .
So , I decided to go to check for myself . Unfortunately , the nice member of staff who helped from earlier , was no longer available , and the staff member who did try to help could not find my wallet , he did try looking , along with a different colleague .
This is not what annoyed though ..... when I kindly asked the staff member if he could check the CCTV , he was kind enough to tell me that this branch does not have CCTV . I was left shocked , genuinely , I was in retail , both at the font end (shop floor) and back of house (admin and logistics ) for a total of 27 YEARS , and I know for a fact , CCTV was and will always be compulsory , for various reasons , theft / damage / assault / insurance issues , etc . I had to leave , no wallet , no card , no cash . I did leave my details , hoping for that all important call , but the experience was not what I hoped for . I want people reading this to imagine a scenario where you get attacked in retail a store any store , any where in the UK . You would think , that when need be , that CCTV would help , to catch the assailant .Then imagine being told sorry no video / CCTV ..... I would of taken it as a given ALL high street stores are like this . People .... take note , be careful and be vigilant and always remember your bearings , and where you keep all your items , always check before your leave a store , not just when your leaving your house .

Went into the Torquay branch today, sales associate was sat behind the counter looking at a computer screen, she was sat side on so would have been able to see me. A gentleman was walking the few steps between the computer screen and a large printer and engaging with the sales associate, he saw me enter and saw me at the counter, I wasn't sure if he was a customer or friend of the sales associate or both. I could see that the sales associate was inputting on the computer in order for the printer to continue so i didn't like to interrupt and I continue to wait quietly, after a few minutes I make a noise to try and make the sales associate aware of my presence, nothing!!! This continues for several minutes and still the sales associate doesn't acknowledge my presence. I couldn't be bothered to be wait any longer without acknowledgement so I left. Maybe I should have been more forthright???

Glasgow. The staff member I spoke to was extremely rude, impatient and generally unpleasant (very like the manager, who I've dealt with on a previous occasion.) I will not be going back into this shop again unless it has a complete change of staff! Unless you are a complete expert in their machines, know exactly what you are doing, etc & can avoid talking to the staff, really don't bother!

I had a great experience at snappy snaps Edgware. I went to do a photoshoot with quite a distinct concept in mind. Eve, my photographer was absolutely amazing!!
She not only matched my vibe but also understood the concept I was going for to such a degree that we were able to mould and shape our vision of the final product during the shoot.
She is kind, understanding and an amazing energy to be around, especially if you aren’t as comfortable in front of a camera or have a specific vision for your photos.
I love my pictures so much and I’m so so happy!! She completely captured my vision and executed it to perfection! She Photoshopped the floor to completely change the background and vibe of the images and even added text to it.
I’m so glad that she was my photographer, I cannot recommend her enough!! 🩷🩷

They don't know the resolution and the correct specification needed from an organization especially for US visa, even though I explain them 100 times how it must be, but they again did it in a way they want...
The worst part is, they are insist of saying that they make the correction but still the picture was wrong, and I was shock when I came home and check the digital specification of the picture they provided...

I am shocked at the prices of film charged by Snappy Snaps Garrick Street (Covent Garden), London. They charged me £22.00 for a single Ilford XP2 Super 400 that sells for £25.94 for a pack of 2 on Amazon and £20 for a Harman Phoenix 200 Colour roll that is available for £26.87 for 2 on Amazon!!! Gives me reason to avoid them in future - for sure.

Amazing job on a damaged photo we had from our family about 100 years ago. Restored it beautifully after being water damaged.

I have used the Chiswick store on a number of occasions over the last year and have been super impressed. Someone is always on hand to help and staff members are knowledgeable and friendly, as well as patient and supportive when required. Special thanks to Anthony and Mike for most recently going the extra mile.

They have put the price of a uk passport picture up to 16 pounds this is extortionate they used to be 5 pounds. Boycott these greedy people. They say the price hike is for quality and service? All the staff are d.e.i hires who have no interest in helping and its a digital photo? As a nation we must stop allowing these corporations to take advantage of us it was 12 pounds a year ago and 6 pounds before that.
