Speedy, friendly engineer came to my home to men an elderly mac and fit a new battery. really efficient service

Great service. The engineer turned up for a home visit and fixed my two issues. Microphone and internet connectivity. They also did a general health check on the laptop too. I would definitely recommend them and will use them again.

I was very impressed with Solid Rock IT, from the moment I first made the initial inquiry to the engineer's visit. The engineer was courteous, explained exactly what needed to be done, and fixed the home networking issue.

They sent out an engineer to my home and he gave a thorough diagnosis of what was wrong with my slow-running seven year-old iMac. He then gave me all the options to not just fix it but to upgrade it. I took his advice and he came back two days later with all the parts. I now have a super fast 2Tb (up from 1TB) and 32RAM (up from 8RAM) memory, all for just £700 including travel and labour costs.

The engineer was extremely helpful in finding the most cost efficient solution to fixing my Mac, offering the same solution for over half the price that Apple offered! They were also super flexible with time table and came to fix my Mac at home in under 2 hours. It was A very casual and easy experience, and would definitely go back to these people !

Great that the technician came to the flat to sort out the noisy fan problem on my laptop very efficiently. Whilst here, he also solved a different problem on my wife's laptop which hadn't been scheduled. The technician was knowledgeable and friendly making the whole process a pleasant experience.

The engineer visited my home and replaced the keyboard on my HP laptop. He was courteous, efficient and helpful. I highly recommend this company.

Outstanding service! I called at 3:30pm and by 5:45pm I had an engineer on my doorstep. He went above and beyond to fix hardware issues that had started as a result of an accidental knock, and also fixed some software and wifi issues that he noticed while he was at it! Could not recommend more highly.

I am so happy that I used this company to fix my PC. The engineer booked me in for same day service which was so helpful because I had a fast approaching university deadline. The engineer came to my house and had my computer fixed in a few hours. There were a lot of things wrong with my PC and it was a challenging fix- he handled it with great skill and now it runs with zero problems. He was also very friendly and great to talk to. He went above and beyond by helping me after the service- my university asked for a repair note and he wrote me the document which was a massive help. I highly recommend Solid Rock and I will definitely be coming to them again if I need their help.

Brilliant service. Came to my house and fitted ssd to my hdd iMac - a really intricate job done quickly, with a friendly and informative engineer who explained everything. Also a reasonable price - and the fact I didn’t need to lug my computer to a workshop on the bus made it all possible to get the job done. I cannot recommend too highly.

The IT consultant was efficient and professional. He took me through the process so I understood what he was doing and gave me confidence in his expertise. The issue was solved in a good time frame and I was very satisfied with the service overall.

I needed my hard drive replaced but was a bit nervous about disassembling my laptop myself and replacing it. I called Solid Rock IT and they sent an engineer around the next day. Very good experience, the engineer was prompt, competent and my laptop now works as before. Fee quote was fair too.

Older Macbook needed a new motherboard. The engineer was prompt, careful and friendly, and the service was very reasonable. This is the second time I've used Solid Rock, highly recommended.

My expensive gaming Laptop was very slow and needed to be cleaned with the thermal paste replaced. Service was quick and done on site. Laptop is now working as though it was brand new, where I can play my favorite games at ultra settings.

Engineer was friendly and knowledgeable.

I wanted to use a thermal paste not widely used , PTM7590, he was able to apply it.

Mark was super helpful and quick, bringing my very old MacBook back to life!

Was looking for a genuine local team. One call. Appointment made. One Apple laptop given new hard drive and, although 9 years old, brought up to date with latest operating system. One Apple desktop computer speeded up but new hard drive still required. Again has had daily use over 9 years so not surprising. Quote awaited. Great to have engineer who knows what he is doing doing the work in my home and leaving me with two fully working computers. Pricing very competitive. Highly recommend.
