Absolutely over the moon once again with my purchase. I bought an Anuenue concert Ukulele in Black Forest green. The Southern Ukulele stores attention to detail, knowledge and expertise is second to none. They are never pushy but do offer great advice. The set up was excellent. Have i shopped there before-Yes. Will I be shopping there again-Yes. Thanks to the team as always. Danny

Alex was very helpful over the phone and processed my order. Rob communicated and followed up with emails,(great sense of humour btw).
My fireball tenor was shipped on a Monday and I received it on the Wednesday in Arizona! Beautifully packed,the neck had been relieved for the air transportation ,the action and set up was perfect and a very useful accessory thrown in.
These guys are great to deal with and are highly recommended.

The best customer service I have ever experienced. I have bought several high end ukuleles from SUS online. The guys in the shop have been so helpful through the whole process by answering mail quickly and keeping an eye on the tracking all the way to my door.
I feel I have VIP treatment even if I only buy a single set of strings:)

Southern ukes have sold me a variety of tenor, baritone ukuleles and, just recently, a guitalele. They have also bought quite a few back at extremely fair prices. More professional, passionately enthusiastic people would be hard to find. I salute and thank them with all my heart.

This was a surprise birthday visit and gift. The store is laid out in a clear yet comfortable, casual-rustic style. Having knowledgeable friendly assistance took the pressure off (a beginner new-to-playing person) in selecting the right instrument for me. This could have been a daunting and overwhelming experience, (because of the number of Uke's on offer and the fact I've only been playing for 6 months) but it wasn't.

Romeo showed me a couple of suitable options and helped me make a decision based on important practical details, as well as giving me time to practice + play, to get a feel for each one. This guidance was essential and very much appreciated.

He explained upkeep and maintenance, and offered future support as and when I need it.

I'm delighted with my new Ukulele and the whole experience was really amazing. 10/10

If you're looking for a Uke - this is THE place, because you get first class customer service and musical expertise thrown in for free. I cant recommend highly enough.

Wow it’s just amazing, so much padding. My Pono MBD only just fits the super snug gig bag. Best on the market, thank you SUS 🎶🥰 no worries in the gig van.

Excellent unbiased advice, with ample opportunity to try out several ukuleles both acoustically and through an amplifier, in the shop.
Easy on line ordering, prompt dispatch, and useful post sale communication by telephone.

The best store in my opinion for any purchase or advice I recently emailed them because I could not get my Flight Pathfinder which is a wonderful piece of kit to sound very nice and was initially disappointed one email later Alex gave me advice on how to set up my Amp and Ukulele correctly and now every time I play I have a big grin on my face. Any purchase you buy maybe a bit more expensive then other stores but as the saying goes you get what you pay for in my case my Ukulele was set up and played right out of the box.

Just bought a Flight Fireball Soprano that was exclusively made for Southern Ukulele store and it is amazing! Mango back and side with a spruce top gave this Uke such a balanced punchy tone.

As for the buying experience. Packaging was well protected and their communication throughout the process was on point. Which made for a professional and a confident inspiring purchasing experience.

Just spent an hour or so with Romeo and Rob in the store, very nice, helpful people, nothing was too much trouble, played a couple of wonderful ukuleles, then got a taxi back to the hotel. Great experience and a wonderful store and staff, thank you!

Recommended by a member of my ukulele group. Traveled 80 miles each way and well worth the effort. Bought two great ukuleles, and superb workshop attention to my existing Tenor. The two Robs were great with good advice and attention. I will travel here again in future.

After traveling from South Wales went to the Southern ukulele store. Good service and great advice from Alex. On asking about a ukulele I was thinking of purchasing he advised me it would not be a step up from one I already had. After showing me a number of ukuleles that he felt would suit my needs and trying them and dismissing a couple (one of which I would probably have purchased online!) I found a Kai KTI 700 which would not have been my first choice had I not heard it! Unhurried service with no pressure. Highly recommend a visit.

This is the kind of place you can buy a uke without a doubt. You'll get advices with quick mail answer, a well prepared instrument and a nice package protected for the transport.
You won't get any of that services in a big store like Thomann or Amazon.
Just perfect. Just go for it!

I am elderly with slightly arthritic hands and never played a ukulele. Alex and Rob were patient and kind and advised me which ukulele would suit me best. They gave excellent personal service and I’m very grateful. I love the ukulele they suggested for me. It arrived when I asked for it to as well. Thank you Alex and Rob.

What a fantastic shop this is with such a friendly, helpful group working there. Investors just bought a Kanile’a ukulele which is stunning and beautifully set up. This is not the first time I’ve visited the shop and it won’t be the last! 10 out of 10!!

I’ve now purchased 4 Ukuleles from southern Ukulele, the first a Kala Suprano, then a beautiful walnut concert for my ex, then a stunning flight nighthawk and now a Baton Rouge Bass, always a fantastic service, cannot recommend them highly enough 10/10
