Created by Abi Selby, Spabreaks.com is a spa booking service working with more than 1300 spa destinations in the UK and overseas and arranging spa days and breaks for up to 6,000 people each week. From a small team of three, we have grown to a family of more than 90 members of staff with an office of knowledgeable spa consultants in Brighton. But those are just the numbers. Spabreaks.com's founding principle was to make the world of spa more accessible to anybody and everybody who wanted to go. We wanted to bring back the ancient purpose of spas as places of sanctuary for mind and body. We wanted to showcase the variety of spa experiences available to every individual, occasion, location and preference. Crucially, we wanted to make spas more accessible to anyone with a major health problem or disability, and work with industry leaders to make sure that anyone who had previously felt marginalised never feels that way again. Over the past decade, that’s exactly what we’ve done. We believe in the many positive benefits of spa experiences and that they can and should be available to help the health and wellbeing of everybody. That’s why we are working to make spas accessible and enjoyable for every body by providing an unrivalled choice of spas and spa packages, through first class service and convenience for all of our customers. Our ‘spa break for every body’ ethos is central to what we do. When we started Spabreaks.com, spas were often seen as the domain of women with too much money and too much time on their hands, and that they were for a stereotypical ‘body beautiful’. We believe that spa experiences are for real benefit to all of us and that spas are places where everyone should feel safe and looked after. We believe they are for everyone at every age, gender, weight and state of wellness, and that there are experiences, treatments and destinations that everybody and every body can enjoy. Sophie..a fantastic operator at spabreaks

I have just booked a spa and hotel experience via an operator at spabreaks.com. She was absolutely wonderful..she went above and beyond to make sure we got what we needed to make our stay perfect nothing was too much trouble and even called me on her day off..one amazing lady..her name is Sophie…won’t give her surname for privacy for her but if you ever need to call them ask for her ..brilliant thankyou so much Sophie your a star x

I’m only putting one star because I…

I’m only putting one star because I have to put something down. I originally booked for 1430 and I was phoned up later during the day saying it has been moved to 2 o’clock without my consent. And I phoned them up and said there’s no way it’s being moved to 2 o’clock because I will not be making it and the gentleman was saying to me you can cancel it. Why would I want to cancel something that I paid so much money for and when I cancel, I will not be getting any money back.

As treatment times are allocated directly by the spa based on their availability for the chosen date, Spabreaks.com, as a third‑party booking agent, does not play a role in scheduling. Occasionally, for operational reasons such as staff absences or other logistical challenges, a spa may need to amend treatment times at short notice. We apologise on their behalf if any changes made did not suit your preferences.

As your review did not include a booking reference, we are unable to check the specific details of your reservation. However, it is likely that any calls you received regarding treatment times came directly from the spa, as they manage all scheduling and adjustments.

As part of our booking process, we do advise—before any payment is taken, that treatments may be scheduled at any time during your visit.

They have my money and haven’t refunded me

This company is an absolute abomination, I booked and paid for a spa break for Mother’s Day to be told 3 days before Mother’s Day that actually it wasn’t booked and there had been an error, meanwhile I’ve been back and forth with multiple people trying to solve my issue, taking 1-2 days to reply, DO NOT BOOK WITH THESE GO DIRECT!!!

As a third‑party booking agent, we rely on our spa and hotel partners to keep us updated with their availability, and we’re sorry that the venue did not have sufficient space to host your visit on this occasion. Each of the 550 plus venues that we are in partnership with manages their own availability and is responsible for keeping us constantly updated.

Whenever a booking cannot be fulfilled, we always aim to offer suitable alternatives so our customers can still enjoy their spa experience. We can look at arranging a different venue, changing the date, issuing a credit note for future use, or processing a full refund.

I can confirm that a full refund has now been processed for you.

Voucher redemption

Very ridiculous service

Very ridiculous service, on the site I booked a spa at the Westin hotel for my friend as her birthday gift but choose the option of gift cos it was really a gift. Called them to like change the date I wanted her to receive the mail, next thing I’m being told is I didn’t make a booking and explaining I got a voucher even tho it was the spa package I wanted I clicked on. Okay then, booked the date I wanted suddenly date isn’t available but she can choose any date just that the date she wants can’t be chosen. How do you ruin a persons birthday surprise??? Nothing on your site explained this. And now I have to wait 7-10 days for a refund and her birthday is tomorrow !!! I’m so pissed

As a third‑party booking agent working with over 550 UK spas and hotels, we offer thousands of different spa experiences. These can be purchased either as a confirmed booking for a fixed date, ideal for guests who already know when they wish to travel, or as a gift voucher, which many customers choose because it makes a flexible and thoughtful gift and allows the recipient to select their own preferred travel date.

Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months, and although they are purchased for a specific experience, availability can vary throughout the year. Because of this, we always recommend that guests with a voucher plan and book their preferred travel date as far in advance as possible. Availability is live and constantly changing, and purchasing a voucher does not guarantee that every date within the 12‑month validity period will be available.

Although I’m not aware of the specific date you were hoping to book, I can confirm that your voucher was purchased on 7th March 2026 and is therefore eligible for a refund. A confirmation of this has already been sent to you directly.

I’m genuinely sorry for any frustration this situation has caused, and I hope the refund helps bring the matter to a satisfactory close.
