I am very happy with the customer service’s prompt response and the solution given. I was unable to get the code verification sent to my non-UK phone number and the customer service called me directly and solved the problem.

If I could I would have given the site no stars. How anyone can find a place on here is beyond me, the rents are ridiculous and over the top specially for the ones where you are just basically getting a room. If you are on council housing benefits for whatever reason that might be, you have no chance on here, some landlords mark up the rents well above what is allowed because they seem to think everyone on housing benefits are trouble and won't care for the places but remember the saying "never judge a book by it's cover"! There is many reasons people come homeless and these people just need a chance of a roof over their head.

Getting daily updates on availability made it a worthwhile experience, asides spare room team prompts landlords on unresponded chats from renters.

Add removed for use of AI dispite 8/9 photos not using AI and the one that did only using it to remove steam from shower glass. Used for 15 years without issue.

I had the best experience of customer service with Hafsa just now. She is very polite, helpful and professional although she is new to Spareroom . The website feels very outdated and could do with a fresh new UI and some easier navigation.

The biggest concern is what felt like a lack of moderation when it came to battling on the featured ad list, sometimes the numbers went crazily high and realistically there should be a cap, especially considering we couldn’t find anywhere to see how you handle fake clicking to prevent abuse of the system.

Just doesn’t seem like a thought out system and one very easily abused and no one would know.

As soon an my advert went live, i started receiving responses from people.
I am very impressed with how quickly i was able to secure a lofger through Spsre Room.
