Say NO to Spectrum
They only rate a star above bright speed. I live in Warrenton Mo. It’s not a large city, it’s not rich. But if you say you can bring service out to our area, it should be as good as the Town & County or Ladue. We pay the same price right?!
The service is spotty. Even technicians will say off record we know we have issues. I have a console that tells me every time the service goes out.
But it’s not hard to tell when that’s happening because anything connected to WiFi goes out.
If you’re looking for internet and can get fiber (Gateway), pay a LITTLE more and get vastly greater speeds and reliability. I’m done as soon as another company comes out. They should have went bankrupt. We deserve better!

Thumbs down. Spectrum raised my rates from $60 a month to $90 a month. So I called them to ask them how I can get that price down, because I'm going to be. Canceling my account Otherwise. they told me they could get me down to fifty dollars a month simply by switching the plan name or something.I'll get more gigabytes.I'll get a new modem whatever. However, I have to pick up the modem at one of their stores.There is no store anywhere near me. the closest stores in Apple Valley Minnesota. So I set an appointment to go there. This is two people who have told me that I can pick up the modem at that store. I go to the store and the guy tells me, No, we cannot give you that modem Because your service is in wisconsin, and we are in minnesota. FAIL!

The tech guy arrived right on time and took one look around before realizing this wasn’t going to be a standard “plug it in and call it a day” install.
The building was apparently untouched wilderness for internet cables, so the adventure began at a very tall wooden pole somewhere in the next zip code — at least 60 feet from my back-unit apartment.
Over the next 2½ hours, he battled gravity, wiring, and what I can only assume were several unseen demons living in the walls, eventually making his way to my back door like an exhausted explorer returning from an expedition.
At least only one modem sacrificed itself in the process. Fortunately, he came prepared with a spare, swapped it out like a magician pulling a rabbit from a hat, and finished the job with style.
Everything checked out perfectly and — voilà — civilization was restored, Netflix lived again, and I was finally reconnected to the modern world.
That we are at the end of the service area so our reception is poor

Spectrum lines were run through my backyard recently. The crew did not let us know that they were in our backyard doing work and I let our dog out not knowing they were back there. Luckily, the dog has good recall and nothing happened.
In the process of running the line, they removed part of our fence and did not replace it before they left. The pieces they removed are nowhere to be found.
I reported the issue and a case was opened. I was told I would get a call back within 48 hours but I did not. When I called to follow up, I was told that Spectrum is not in our area. Knowing several neighbors have the service, I questioned this information. The person on the phone spoke with the supervisor who confirmed that Spectrum is in our area but that they do not have fiber cable in our area yet. However, their website shows I can get fiber cable from them at my address.
Someone from their company came out and verified that it was their service that was in our yard working and took photos to report the incident.
I don't believe that they will actually address the damage that they caused. I will never do business with this company.
So worth the switch!
The only regretful aspect of this switch from T-Mobile to Spectrum Mobile is that we didn't do it sooner. We are saving $137 per month with this change!
I originally spoke with a Spectrum customer service Rep to change and set up my service. Her name is Dataisha and she was very kind and helpful and took her time to explain things to me and get the paperwork set up.
The two people at the Spectrum Retail Store in Overland Park, KS were also great to work with! Aaron and Termaine were professional, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. We are very happy with the time they spent on our behalf to set up our phones.
So far everything has been going well with our Spectrum Mobile Service.
We have already talked to a couple of our friends about switching to Spectrum Mobile.

Long read and I sent exact letter to Spectrum Corporate
On April 3, 2026 my husband and I went to the Spectrum store at 665 Paul Huff Parkway Cleveland TN 37312, to return our internet modem. It was very busy I signed in, waited approximately an hour, saw that I was next on the list. After a few minutes looked again, my name was taken off the list unknown why. I walked over to an employee a young man, told him what happened. He said I could leave the modem with him, and he’d cancel my account, he couldn’t give me a receipt because he was in another account. I asked if I could take a picture of him for proof, and he said yes( pic attached) and we left the store.
On April 4, 2026 we left Tennessee, to move to Mississippi (pic attached).
Sometime around April 8, 2026, I received a bill from Spectrum for $164.73, I contacted customer service, and spoke to Kyla, we discussed the billing period for the current bill. I also asked if she can see where my internet modem was returned on April 3, 2026 and was advised yes it shows modem returned.
On April 25,2026, I made a payment of $50 towards the balance of $164.73, leaving a remaining balance of $114.73. I was going to make $50 payments until a zero balance, we just moved, and I had extra expenses.
On May 5, 2026, I received a bill from Spectrum for $286.86, I was absolutely confused since my service was disconnected on April 3, 2026.
I called customer service on May 6, 2026, and spoke to Asani. She tells me that in order to have service disconnected, and to return equipment I was supposed to call customer service first, then bring equipment to a store. She said currently bill, is correct and no where does it show I returned equipment! After letting her know, at NO time was I told to call Spectrum first, and I absolutely returned equipment! I asked to speak with a Supervisor, because I was not getting a positive resolution in my favor!
I was holding for a Supervisor for almost an hour, I was transferred to Antonio. Explained everything again, and was told that it does not show I returned equipment. Now I’m livid and was told again, that I should have called Spectrum first to disconnect service. NEVER EVER WAS I TOLD THAT INFORMATION EVER!! I would have called Spectrum while I was there, and walk back in store to return equipment. Again never told this!
Antonio during our conversation said he had someone looking on the other end, and it does show that I returned equipment!! REALLY!!? Antonio said he would put in a ticket to disconnect service, and that the bill would remain. NO not the resolution I am entitled to. I asked to speak with the Manager at the store, his employee accepted my equipment and NEVER asked if I called to disconnect service. Retraining needs to be done!!! Antonio said the only way to contact the local store in Tennessee, is submit a ticket, which he said he would do. I have not received a call from the Manager
Today May 7, 2026, I received an email for Service disconnection as of May 6,2026, NO again not my disconnect date which should be April 3, 2026, with a remaining balance of $114.78, NOT $286.86!!
I’m reaching out for a resolution to this unbelievable situation.
Service Upgade
Spectrum contacted me advising that they wanted to upgrade my service because we have been customers for a long time. There was no additional charge for this service at this time. The installation Technicians were timely, professional, and very helpful, and managed to complete everything within about a two-hour window. We were very pleased with the service.
