This has been a disastrous purchase.

I bought a pool table from this company. They sent wrong table to begin with. Lots of hassle sorting this out as assembly had been arranged.

It then came to my attention that the table is an American-style pool table rather than a UK-style one. This difference significantly impacts my ability to practice and play on the equipment I intended to use, particularly when I play with friends who own UK tables.

When I raised this concern, the initial customer service response was that I would need all original packaging to return the table—something not feasible weeks after delivery.

Furthermore, when I inquired about escalating the issue, I was told that any further contact with customer service would yield the same response. Just not helpful customer service at all.

Additionally, mentioning a review on Trustpilot when they were being unhelpful was interpreted as a threat, which is not the case—I was simply seeking a fair resolution.

I did not receive the correct UK style that matches my intended use. This discrepancy puts me at a disadvantage when playing on UK tables and should have been clearly disclosed at the time of purchase. No mention was made in the description that this is not a UK table!

I requested that they provide a suitable resolution—perhaps arranging for an exchange to a UK-style table or another fair solution. However they refused the return unless I took care of it myself, I have disabilities, to dismantle and wrap or they offered me £20 as a goodwill gesture.

Absolutely insulting.

I had no idea that American tables would be sold in the UK. I'm very new to pool. I did not know the difference until friends mentioned. So unfair and customer service just do not care. Not disability friendly company.

I am contacting Trading Standards about this issue.

If I could give them 0 I would. Awful customer service by Jason from the so called customer service team.
We returned an item only to have them deduct £10 saying that it was damaged when we returned it in the same condition sent.
They sent it in a reused pizza box with no bubble wrap, no packaging and so we presumed that it was a return or second as we got it for cheaper than other places. Then when we returned it as the wire was too long and we could not fit it. They then take money away and blame us!
Awful!!! Will NEVER buy from them again!

Beware of this place

I bought a bodytrainer treadmill from sportandleisureuk and I'm delighted with their service.
The product is excellent and perfectly as described. They communicated regarding the delivery date very clearly.
The delivery was completed efficiently and professionally within the time slot communicated.

Purchased a 3m golf net. Arrived faulty. Struggling to get hold of the company for a replacement - no response to email, phone lines not working.

I purchased the 2 metre golf cage, initially worked great. However after 8 months i noticed severe rusting, I always take the item down during high winds as a precaution. I contacted them in Jan 2025 to report the issue, I sent 8 emails , no one responded to any of the emails. I then phoned last friday and eventually got speaking to somone who told me he would call me back later that day. He never rang back. I then sent further emails, and got an email back saying they are out of stock and even admitted themselves the golf cage is defective . They then started quoting costs. I explained I reported within 12 months and net went rusty . They when excused me of leaving up in storm when I didnt !! Shocking, I will now seek legal advice, I know my rights

I got an email from the company, today summarizing "he doesn't believe i looked after the cage properly" "why am i only reporting it now"
" he wants an expert report " to prove this is a manufacturing fault!

In short I beg of anyone DO NOT EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY, BECAUSE IF ANYTHING GOES WRONG YOU CAN KISS GOODBYE TO BOTH YOUR PRODUCT AND YOUR MONEY.

Sport and leisure , this is your way of rectifying the issue! Seriously?!

Great communication, item turned up on time (in the christmas rush as well) had an issue and was dealt with brilliantly by the customer service (replacement out the next day) would recommend.

This company have great communication and customer service. Called me straight back after I sent a question through the website, very helpful, and super quick delivery. Very impressed.

Dreadful company.

Ordered an outdoor table tennis table and within days the surface started bubbling. Contacted customer services who lied and said it was an indoor table and so they are not liable. Conveniently they don’t sell the table now so I have no proof it was advertised as outdoor. £250 down.

Probably should’ve read the bad reviews here before ordering from them, costly mistake.

Amazing customer service!

I purchased a power rack and bench with 105kg olympic weight set and was pleasantly surprised when they reached out to me to explain I didn't need the extra £50 delivery charge and to check that the weights were compatible with the rack. I recieved the goods quickly and unfortunately the back cushion to the bench was slightly damaged and an incorrect bolt was sent. I got in touch with customer support and they resolved this quickly and sent out replacements!

So happy with the products, very solid and look forward to my fitness journey!

Order placed on bank holiday Monday and would have been delivered on the Wednesday if DHL had been on time. Great product, trampoline safety net and poles. Easy to fit and well made, all the parts needed were included. Many thanks for a speedy service and good product at competitive price.

I do not want to purchase bodytrain treadmill from them. Sending all faulty products and replying customer emails in a weeks time disgusting customer service.

Ordered a Tahiti massage table which had incorrect details on web site which they said would change and is still showing the wrong details. I have returned the table but they are refusing to refund me. I have checked the courier City Link who have confirmed the table has been returned to Sport and leisure. I would recommend to go elsewhere as these people are the worst I have come across. Do not purchase from them and looks like I they have kept my money !!!!!! £107.99 disgusting

Absolutely perfect!

Gotta admit I was wary of buying from them given some of the (unjust) reviews left on here, but I can only say my experience was perfect.

I bought an exercise bike and what a deal !! It's an amazing Bluetooth bike,16kg flywheel, awesome quality and free next day delivery. The price was unbelievable when compared to other crap quality bikes on other sites.

Even the courier offered to take it upstairs for me because of the weight. What star he was.

Anyhow, all I can say is that this company is brilliant in my experience. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again

Bought a bike wheel from sport and leisure UK through eBay. Item ordered 10 am and it arrived by DPD 10 am the next day. Excellent communication. Excellent item and excellent packaging.

Could not fault anything. Placed an order for a treadmill on Tuesday evening and on Thursday morning it was delivered. Was kept up to date with the despatch and item location. Great quality and excellent customer service.

Purchased three tins of airgun pellets.
One tin was correct other two not what I ordered. I have not any reply from them. Would not recommend this

Absolutely awful customer services, I saw the reviews to stay away but I thought for the price how bad can it be…. The man who said to stay from this site. Sorry for not listening to you…. I recently purchased a cycle rack from this site which was on-sale and a great buy. The delivery was seamless. I had a few questions in terms of locking mechanism and adapters for the electrics and customers services so were helpful. They took photos, provided videos and responded swiftly. Amazing experience.

Table tennis table and robot came perfect and within a week of ordering it.
So far, no issues!

Ordered a pool table which was due on the Friday but never came due the courier so they paid the extra money for it to come Saturday as Im working Monday so can't fault them went above and beyond. Will be ordering more soon.
