The process of replacing the balastrades on two staircases and landings was straightforward. I saw the glass I wanted and noticed handrails too which I purchased. Stairfurb has approved contractors on their website. They measured and quoted, assisted with the order and fitted. It is now clean, modern and so much more light comes into the stairwell. New handrails are a great safety feature.

Stairfurb went over and above to help us with aftersale problem of damaged glass by a builder.replacement glass was sent at a hugely discounted price and we are back to loving our glass and stainless steel bannisters

Stair furb referral brilliant from start to finish . During my full house refurb probably the easiest company I’ve actually had to deal with. I chose Matt there recommended Fitter he was excellent and a hell of a lot cheaper than the rest of their recommended fitters so if I was you, I would go with him but as a company stair furb where fantastic.

2nd time of using. Everything spot on again. Can’t go wrong aslong as you give them the correct measurements and angle

Found this product very good. I am not a joiner and was able to fit it myself. It certainly gives the stair a brand new appearance.

We recently ordered stairs balustrade frame with glass panels which we managed to install ourselves. The experience from order to delivery was flawless. And when we had a question about the individual items, we were able to call StarFurb and speak to a person in less than a minute which was very helpful. Product quality is also excellent.

I was sceptical about how simple the kits looked in the social media ads/posts, but decided to give it a go:
* The online configuration was straightforward, with videos at each question to make it really clear what was required and how to measure.
* Once the kit was ordered I got clear timescales and everything went smoothly.
* Delivery was great and everything was well packaged, clearly organised and labelled.
* I got the primed version so I could choose a custom colour - the paint went on really well, no problems.
* I had a question during install and got a super quick response via WhatsApp which was great as meant nothing was held up.

The difference it’s made to our stairs and hall is transformational, at a fraction of the price of paying a joiner or company to do it for us.

I couldn’t recommend them enough, any time I’ve messaged I’ve had a quick and friendly response - thank you!!

We had our order for an oak handrail and glass stair kit signed off on 20.11.25.

We still haven’t received the order. We chased it up 2.12.25 and at that point we were told that they “lost the order” and delivery would be 3-4 weeks from then.

We have tried to chase it up again today and no outcome on date of delivery

Very disappointing and frustrating

Great experience from the initial enquiry through to the end result.
We chose the Oak with black metal spindles - discussed on the initial video call and then sent measurements with the order. Delivery in 3 weeks as promised.
Very impressed with the quality of the materials, and the supplied instructions. We fitted ourselves, taking only a few hours!

Customer service with this company is excellent, same day video calls to help with measuring, and expert advice on hand every step of the way. Finished result looks just as expected. I would advise though that the 'odd' shape banister set is tricky to fit the hand rail as it does not come cut to the exact length.

Great experience from start to finish - easy to follow video for measuring and they double checked everything as we had a slight discrepancy with the digital protractor. The quality of the materials is outstanding and we decided to use one of the Stairfurb recommended fitters - F&H Installations - Matt was so helpful and the only fitter prepared to travel to Hertfordshire to install. Would highly recommend Stairfurb and Matt at F&H Installations

I couldn’t be happier with the stunning transformation StairFurb has made to our landing. We replaced our old traditional spindles with a sleek, modern glass balustrade, and the difference is unbelievable. The whole space now feels brighter, more open, and far more contemporary.

Beautiful glass balustrade

My hubby is a tradie and I have to be honest we did struggle at times. We needed a new newel post which was a bit of a challenge! One of the screws snapped upon a trial run so he had to drill another hole in the base rail and cut off the other…. Minor issue but thought I would mention. The landing was relatively straight forward but stairs were trickier to put the glass in place. Thank god it looks fabulous as we wouldn’t want to be doing anytime again soon 😂 we are happy with the outcome and have only marked down slightly based on we feel you have to be a bit more than a capable DIYer…. I would recommend still 😊

Fantastic quality absolutely stunning, the measuring is difficult even on a video call I think you have to take in to account any discrepancies with the existing bannister / newel posts ours ended up 10mm short but I am lucky enough to have an experienced father in law that added a piece in and blended it in to the point you wouldn’t know. Overall a fantastic experience it’s just knowing what to do if something isn’t quite right it could be a costly mistake.

Measurements are not easy over the phone maybe need to find a better way of doing this as they are crucial to the finished product.
We had professionals fit the product it was very problematic nothing like it shows you on the videos.

Great experience. The online ordering is easy, the support and communication from Stairfurb is second to none, delivery was seemless. I ordered glass panels and they came made to measure, I used a professional installer but everything comes to do it yourself if you prefer. The end result is AMAZING. Turned my stair case from drab and dated to a wow-factor feature in the home.

From the start to finish of my project help was on hand. Easy to follow video for measuring and fitting of the staircase. They double checked everything with me to make sure everything was as I wanted it. The quality of the materials were of a high standard. I fitted the staircase myself with no specialist tools required. We'll pleased with the whole process and finished result.

The website made measuring process pretty straightforward.

Very easy ordering process and efficient delivery.

I am a fairly competent at DIY and found the installation challenging but not impossible. The installation guides on the website are not detailed enough and comprise a few short videos. I would any DIY installer to set out all the components first and mentally walk through what goes where before even thinking about starting.

Not so good points ...

Pre-drilled holes for mounting glass clamps on underside of handrail are too deep and some of supplied screws don't bite. I had to use longer screws.
Given measurement for distance between top of baserail and underside of handrail was 802mm. I fitted to these measurements but the angled glass panels did not fit. I had to remove and re-install the angled handrail to a distance of 815mm from the baserail - quite a difference. The panels then fit perfectly. The measurement for the landing handrail was spot on so not sure what happened here.
The single long screws to fit the angled handrail to the newel posts is not enough in my view and the handrail didn't feel secure. I added a long screw through the newel posts into the handrail for added stability.

Overall, I'm very happy with the result but it took far longer than I had originally expected.
