A Fabulous Spacious Apartment

Excellent, a fabulous spacious apartment! At first we thought we wanted to stay in the centre of Nice and we chose the apartment at Villa Casabianca with slight hesitancy since it was further out but for us it was absolutely perfect! The balcony and the views are amazing. The pool is fantastic and you pretty much have it to yourself. The apartment is super clean with super comfortable beds. We were a family of 4, our two adult sons came with us and we all had our own bedrooms. Air-conditioning is a must so we really appreciated it. We hired a car (a garage space below is available) and we used it as a base - we travelled to Monte Carlo, Cannes, Eze and into the centre of Nice. We initially thought we'd made a mistake hiring a car as the trams and buses are so cheaply and readily available but then we all agreed it was great to have the car as a bit of a luxury. The hosts are excellent at communicating - they get back to you very quickly indeed. I would highly recommend this place and would definitely go back. In fact I wish I was still there!! - Villa Casabianca

We loved Dingle and this chic property. The kitchen has everything! The beds are comfy with nice linens. The bathrooms are modern and bright. The family room was great for evening movies with the family on a stormy night. Parking is very convenient. You can walk to everything. Lauren is very responsive.

Scam Artists

Scam Artists. Beware of staying with this company. After I checked out of their property after what I thought was a good stay, I never received further communication, all I saw was a 2 separate additional charges on my bank account totaling $260, never received an additional invoice, just 2 random charges . I called to inquire about the charges and they told me I broke a very expensive mirror and lost their remote control. Both lies, mirror was already damaged when I checked in and I never even watched TV because the remote was already missing.

I called to inquire, and spoke to the rudest customer service representative who hung up the phone on me after i disputed the charges, she told me I should have informed them immediately when I noted the remote was missing and I noticed the mirror was damaged ( I didn’t even realize there was something missing, just thought the tv didn’t work) and for the mirror, several items in that home were in such poor debilitated conditions, I assumed they were already aware since I just checked in.

I truly believe they purposely have damaged items in the home that they include, and then charge you when you check out for breaking the items and use that as an excuse to keep your deposit.

My advice to you if you do choose to use this company, take a picture of EVERYTHING and immediately let them know that you found it like that. If not, expect a surprise at the end of your stay. These people are thieves, and are running a scam, and they have done this to several people, and alas it happened to me too.

Hi Juliet,
Thank you for your review. Upon check out it was found that a mirror was broken and the TV remote was lost.
When the house Manager prepares the apartment for your check in, this is cleaned and the apartment has a thorough checklist of any damages/missing/broken objects, so these can be replaced or fixed for your check in. Before your check in the apartment was cleared from any missing objects and damages as per protocol. We do kindly ask guests at check in, if they see anything that they feel like may need to be reported to report these to the Local Manager or the Head office. We do have these procedures in place to avoid any upset upon departure when the apartment is checked. As per our terms and conditions we do state that a damage deposit will be preauthorized against your card and if damages or additional cleaning is found charge the Pre auth. We do always contact guests about charges to cards and what they are being charged for.Unfortunately if damages are left to the apartment or items are missing these do need to be replaced to bring the apartment back up to a rental standard. We address all our guests politely and friendly, especially in uncomfortable situations where guests can be upset, raise voices and use rude language. I hope in future this feedback can be with other customer service representatives.Kindest regards

Belle Epoque Apartment in Nice, France

We had a great experience with StayYNA and the apartment. Our manager was so easy to work with and very responsive to all of our questions and needs. The apartment is spacious for a family of 3 and had much needed and strong air conditioner as Nice was quite warm in June! The location of the apartment is amazing - a block off the Promenade de Anglais and beach, a fitness center right across the street, and a bakery and grocery store just down the next block. It is very close to shops and restaurants yet the apartment is on a quiet street and having air conditioning means you don't have to open the windows at night so very peaceful for sleeping.

We had a very pleasant stay.

We had a very pleasant stay in Violet’s appartment. The location is very nice and is in walking distanse of the city center. It’s only a short walk (5 min) to the beach and just outside the tramstop Alsace-Lorraine which goes directly to the airport (about 25 min.). The appartment is nice and spacy and well equipped.

Bliss on Lake Caragh

The Salmon Cottage was the highlight of our Ireland vacation. Lauren and her team were responsive, professional and very warm. A welcome gift of fresh bread and jam among other things made a great first impression - not mention butter, cream for our coffee !

The house and property are extremely well maintained and with top notch amenities and extras making our stay feel like home. The "cottage" is very spacious and there was ample room for our family.

Glenbeigh Shellfish was a great tip provided by our host keeping us in fresh oysters and muscles during our stay - a sweet Mom and Pop outfit and our visit there was icing on the cake - lots of "samples" shucked generously for us.

Best of all was the embrace of amazing Lake Caragh. This property wants for nothing and should be on your list - just don't tell anyone !

Sands Cottage in Castlegregory - Great Location, Perfect Accommodation

Sands Cottage in Castlegregory was absolutely beautiful, checkin and cleanliness was great. Location to everything in this area was also great. Great places to eat, food at Blasini at Thomasins and Milesian was amazing. Great beaches, Inch, Castlegregory, Brandon Bay, Maharees, and Banna Strand were amazing. Surf with Jamie Knox was really easy to book and enjoyable. Dingle Town also a great visit and stunning scenery. We’ll definitely be back. Checkin with Oonagh was great and she was really helpful. Wonderful apartment to stay in for our visit to Nice.
Comfortable clean and airy with great views of the sea and beach. Also easy access to airport and town centre on the tram. We were greeted by the host on our arrival and she was very helpful, explaining facilities and how to reach the town and the station. I hope we can stay there again on our next visit to Nice.

Be prepared to lose your deposit over nothing! Avoid.

We stayed with stay yna at brandon house in dingle in july 2022 for a week. We paid premium prices for a 5 star experience as advertised. The house itself is as per the pictures and a credit to the owners but stay yna as property managers are unprofessional, rude and money hungry in my opinion. If you are the owner reading this i recommend you change mgt immediately. The property is very rural, roads are poor and you need to travel through a farm yard with farm machinery to get there. Not ideal for kids but mucher bigger issues emerged. What ruined it for us was stay yna taking out the full €500 deposit from us days later due to 1. We had more than 2 bins full of rubbish disposal (6 adults plus 2 kids for a week did indeed create more than 2 bins of rubbish, we left the extra bags beside the main bins very neatly), 2. We used up toiletries (confirmed as included in the price as per t and cs) and disposed of the empty content bottles, 3. There were stains on towels and linen (they sent pictures, barely visible stains). Total charge €114 (of which points 1 and 2 were c. 50%) with full €500 taken from our account with rest to be refunded in time. For context, we were a family of 6 adults and 2 small children paying for quality accommodation at premium prices for peace and quiet. Paid over €2k for a week. We were extremely careful and diligent. The place was left in great condition. You are given one towel per adult and no washing powder. We bought our own and washed the few towels they gave us. You are given two bins liners only for a week. We cleaned everything before we left, turned on the dishwasher and even put the towels onto a wash (with powder we bought). We attempted to talk to stay yna to dispute these allegations of "damage" who refused to talk to us over the phone, will only reply by email from the uk and the local welcome manager washes their hands of it all. We have stayed in 5 star accommodation all over ireland and have never been treated like this before. Its not the money, its the shocking attitude. Stay away from stay yna and before you think about booking anywhere with them read every word (and tone) of their terms and conditions as they will charge you extras and then refer back to loosely worded ts and cs. Certainly not a 5 star experience.

Hi Steve,
Thank you for your review.
Upon check out as per protocol the home is cleared from any damages or any additional cleaning required.
Unfortunately it was found that all sets of linen and towels were fully stained blue. As our professional launderette was unable to remove these stains these do have to be replaced and charged. We do try our utmost to avoid these charges but the stains fully covered all the linens and towels that it was unavoidable.
We only charge for rubbish if there is an excess, upon departure there were 6 additional bags filled, and the recycling was not separated - we ask you to separate this as Stay YNA is an eco-friendly company, so the house manager did have to do this and take the time to go to the recycling centre.
All our homes are self catering, so we supply each guest with 1 small and 1 large towel, if you require any more this could have been arranged.
We also supply you with washing up liquid, some dishwasher tablets and washing machine tablets to get you started! This is normally enough for a week's stay for most of our guests.
Upon booking you did agree to our terms and conditions - section 4 we require a damage deposit for your stay. We always provide pictures of the damage and an invoice for this.
If there is damage to the home, we fully investigate any damage caused on both sides.
Kindest regards

I have just spent the most wonderful…

I have just spent the most wonderful week (March/April) in Maison Dior in Nice. The apartment was brilliantly equipped, extremely comfortable and everything was absolutely 5*. I could not have wished for more. In addition, the location was perfect for public transport - bus and tram - and an easy walk to the main parks, shopping centre, the old town and the coast. Having spent time in France for more than 60 years, this was my first visit to Nice and I loved it. Everyone we met was kind and friendly and we found super coffee shops, bakeries, small supermarket and restaurants locally. All in all an amazing week and Maison Dior was the perfect place to stay and from which to enjoy it. Thank you!

I do not recommend this company as our…

I do not recommend this company as our experience has been very poor but with a better outcome than others. We booked for Dingle in Oct 20 for Christmas 20, and paid €1800 in full. Prior to booking I called the company and they advised of there was any Covid issues, that we would be able to cancel and get a full refund. We live in Northern Ireland, as as December passed, the Irish Government introduced more and more restrictions. Two days before we were due to leave the government introduced a ‘no travel’ outside your county ban. So we could not go. When I rang to explain, and to ask what to do the immediate response was ‘not our problem’. After taking the time to explain, I was told that in no circumstances could they refund, but would move us to another week. We settled on Easter, but again the Irish restrictions meant that we could not travel. We then moved to May, and then finally back to Christmas 2021. However when we looked at plans for Christmas our original party could not make it, we again asked for a refund, and the answer was no. All correspondence and calls where difficult, and no attempt was made to reconcile the contract.

After much frustration I got my husband to ring and he persuaded them to put the Christmas week back up for sale, and if it sold then we could get our money back, or we would use it. So the company agreed, and it sold, but no one contacted me to tell me. I had to check the website, and reach out to them. The money was not repaid to me until last week, after the new quests checked out. I lost the 25% deposit, but feel lucky as others got nothing. Had we not insisted, and restated our rights, we would have had no refund.
All in all a bad experience, and I would not recommend this company.

Hi Diane,

Your booking was made in November 2020. The Pandemic had started way before this time. Our COVID terms and conditions were in place at the time you booked, these are made very clear on our website. We do state that we do not issue refunds but we do move bookings if Kerry is in a lockdown at the time of your stay. As Kerry was in a lockdown at the of your stay in December 2020, we kindly offered to move your booking which you agreed to. As an honest trustworthy company at Stay YNA Dingle we have worked hard during the pandemic to offer to move guests if there is a lockdown and they cannot stay in the property and we have also moved people who cannot travel due to their own personal circumstances.

Just to confirm, we never said 'it was not our problem. and our communication in email and conversations show this. Emails are answered within 24 hours and more often within 2 hours and we spoke to you in person explaining the terms and conditions.
As you did not want to move your booking we did in fact change the terms and conditions for you and offered you a 75% refund if the week you had originally booked got re booked on the website. You were advised of this when the booking was confirmed.

We do not appreciate guests who tick and agree to terms and conditions but then decide that they wish for the terms and conditions to not apply to them when they decide they would like a full refund. To write a defamatory review is not only unfair but it also has an impact on businesses that are taking responsibility during covid and offering a fair solution.

Our advice is THINK BEFORE YOU BOOK as TERMS AND CONDITIONS ARE THERE FOR A REASON and TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR OWN ACTIONS. We would much rather you do not book with STAY YNA Dingle and book with a company who offer a full refund policy no matter what. We are sorry it is not financially viable as a business to offer a no questions asked full refund policy which is why WE STATE THIS IN OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS CLEARLY.

Kindest regards

I absolutely loved everything about the…

I absolutely loved everything about the experience of staying at this beautiful, perfectly located and appointed property in Nice. Elena and Jenny were both amazing; I was met at the property right on time and the explanation of all the features of the property was done completely and thoroughly. This was one of those rare times that the actual property was better than the representation on-line (and the on-line photos were absolutely gorgeous!). I would highly recommend STA YNA and this particular property to anyone.

Luxe experience with this company compared to the others I’ve booked with in the area.

My experience with this company has been fantastic. Ive stayed at several of their properties and all of them had a luxe feel. The customer service has gone above my expectations and they have accommodated all of my needs throughout my stay. The properties I stayed at are spotless and beautifully furnished. I’m going to book with them again in the spring.

MARIAN PARK - DINGLE TOWN

We had a fantastic stay here. The property is a short walk from the centre of Dingle but in a very quiet little estate. The house was spotlessly clean, very warm and very well equipped. The back garden was also a bonus as we visited with our dog. Rose was very accommodating with the check-in and check-out times which was much appreciated as was the welcome basket. Overall I would highly recommend this property.

STAY YNA was great to work with. Even after some problems with Airbnb they worked with us and got everything back on track. Our host was extremely responsive and the instructions for your place were very detailed. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay to end our Europe vacation even with all the COVID worries. As for the place we stayed at it was amazing and well worth it. Close to everything from food, shopping and the beach. Easy to get around we were able to walk everywhere. Close enough to the airport and other transportation that it makes it very convenient. Place was amazing and clean with everything you will need. Lastly the views from the balcony are breathtaking. Perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or your favorite beverage in the evening watching all the people.
