Just received the Stewmac Toolkit that I ordered about a week ago. Took a while to get here. I opened the package and was surprised at how small it is. I havent used any of the tools yet but plan to soon. I am having my wife put it under the tree for Christmas so must remain in package

I ordered…it came

I hot rod my own guitars, improve the hardware, tuners, bridges, pickups, pots, jacks etc. Set intonation and action. I buy older guitars and improve them for my own satisfaction when it comes to playing them. Your tools make all the difference in the world when it comes to doing the job right. Your videos and tips have been invaluable. You have the best collection of luthier tools on the web. Every time I buy something from you, I do it with confidence solely from experience because you always come through.

The slim humbucker pickup ring did the trick. Making my own keef Richard’s Micawber. When tuned up strings would hit either the PU ring or the PU at the higher notes. Decided to try another PU ring.
This new one from Stewmac seems to work fine.

Quality products and great service always. Delivery is a little slow but nothing stewmac can do about that since I live in a remote corner of the country. But this time they used UPS which cuts a day off of USPS and USPS.

Had my tuners in 4 days! Perfect fit, thanks to the tech drawing.

I liked doing repeat business with a company I have been satisfied doing business with in the past; I did NOT like getting RUBY tubes instead of the JJ tubes I ordered. They are probably fine and I will use them but the old adage, "you get what you pay for" does not apply in this case.

The fifth string riser for my banjo was not a standard size. It was way too small. Further, the shipping was outrageously high for what I purchased.

Great quality luthier tools. My go-to for fret wire, bone nuts and saddles, router bits and templates, etc.

I ordered this adhesive sheet about 10 days ago and I still don't have my item, I know its a hi trafet time with christmas but I ordered stuff from Ebay about the same time and they have already been delivered. But this isn't the first time I ordered stuff from you and it takes a long time to get here. You guys seem to have the highest shipping rate then anybody else and it still takes longer then other suppliers, Whats up with that

Do not waste your money on this junk! Stew should be ashamed of themselves! I ordered it through them as I had paid for a membership and thought I would receive a higher quality pick guard. Turns out my$70 membership had just expired so I paid double due to shipping. Inferior plastic and adhesive. Likely cost them $5 with shipping and it cost me $27! Better stuff with 3m adhesive on Amazon. Scratches easy. Gonna look like hell after a couple gigs! I would love my money back!!

Finding the tuners I needed for my old Jackson mandolin was a problem until StewMac. Post spacing on the Mandolin was different than my other Mandolins. The complete diagram with all the dimensions made it easy to verify the post spacing was correct.

But the shipping charge is outrageous.
I paid $12 to ship something the size of two fingers from Ohio to Pa.
I shipped a guitar from the same state for$26.
