Stitch is formulated in such a way that access is easy for everyone one who wishes to be involved, either in organising events or as a participant.
It makes for a friendly and relaxed atmosphere at events, with new attendees feeling welcomed. Everyone also remembers how daunting it can be first time attending.People are often surprised at the welcome they receive from existing members, when they attend an event for the first time.

Stitch has made a great difference to a lot of people around the world. Those that struggle with everyday life for some reason or another Stitch helps take that void if only for an hour this makes a great difference in all our life's I have heard many members who tell me this members that have joined a long time ago and new members personally myself Stitch has helped me from being shy as now for 6 years I have hosted quizzes and I enjoy this because it makes people happy as a Stitch Community Champion and Welcomer I take every moment that I can to make new members welcome as some members can find it very Daunting when first they join like I did

A wonderful way to keep connected and making new friends as well as discovering new places …

I have been a Stitch member for over 10 years. I have met some wonderful people both in the UK and the US . I really enjoyed the two international meeting I attended and getting to meet Andrew and the others from Australia as well as our local Stitch get togethers.

Stitch provides a variety of options whether online or in person.

I was going through options on PopaHO and picked this one — didn't really notice at the time that there was no checkmark next to video calls or offline events. Not a dealbreaker on paper, but in practice it matters more than I thought. I did match with a few people and had some decent conversations, so it's not all bad. But there's always this nagging feeling in the back of your head — is this person even real? Without a live video option, you just never fully know. It's fine for casual browsing I guess, but I wouldn't call it serious dating.

Stitch is amazing. Ive met so many people on it and every single one has been friendly and welcoming. Ive arranged lots of activities and been on lunches, dinners, walks and been involved in discussions.

Loving my new tribe. Stitch has been the best thing I done in a long time. Always an event to look forward to each weekend.

It's a joy

I love my group get together every Thursday evening with the women. I just find the site somewhat cumbersome to navigate so I have not explored much unfortunately.

A variety of interactive events to suit.

Stitch is a great social group enabling people from all over the world to connect.
No need to feel lonely there is an event on every day of the week.
I find people make more friendships if they attend regularly in their surrounding area. I like to explore different areas and meet different stitch members. It is great value for money as well. The Stitch team do a brilliant job answering any questions when needed.

I have been meeting people and going places I would not have been able to without Stitch.

I especially like the Zoom meetings with people around the world.

I am no longer alone. I have so many new friends and so many places to go. I have new interests to explore with my new friends. Stitch is like a large family that cares.

The web site is a very safe space with very good security to protect it's members. Keeps its members informed of upcoming events on a regular basis

It's so great being able to meet a variety of people especially when you are on your own. I've been to lots of events now and I love being part of Stitch its great.

As part of my year resolution, I resolved to meet new people and be more social. By taking part in stitch events, I have met incredible people and made friends with people I have so much in common with. These connections have enriched my life, providing opportunities to share experiences, learn from others, and build a supportive network. This has boosted my confidence and helped me grow personally, showing that stepping out of my comfort zone was a decision with lasting positive effects.
