I wanted an agreement for finance in relation to a divorce. The rep had no interest at all in outcomes, telling me I would not get that. In fact he only interest was her process and her rules - which she spent more than half the time telling me. Many rules are designed to give her control and ownership over that which is not hers - things like my information, which is mine to own and do as I please with. She did not like any questions relating to her rules, she failed to answer things “why can’t I take notes” (she said I could not) but simply referred back to “this is what you’ve signed up to” and something about “its confidential” - but its MY information, not hers! Sheer arrogance on her part. I got the impression this was so she could charge more, eg, summarise the notes. A complete and utter waste of time and money - zero point. Then she decided she would take the case, but offered some kind of certificate - at a cost. I will find a place less mercenary.

Stone King handled the purchase of my property in 2018 and everything went very smoothly. I have only really appreciated how good they are after having made the mistake of allowing myself to be waved into my mortgage broker's "recommended" low-cost online-only solicitor to handle my remortgage 5 years later. Never again! You get what you pay for and you only really appreciate proactiveness, organisation and thoroughness when you experience its absence. Right now Stone King are helping the incompetent budget solicitor resolve my not-very-complicated case for free, something the budget solicitors have apparently been unable to do over the past 3 months.
