We have had an excellent experience with Story Homes so far. Rebecca has been friendly, supportive and helpful, keeping us informed at each stage to date with clear explanations of the buying process. Her knowledge of the development at Riverbrook Gardens, the homes available and her professionalism and organisational skills have been second to none, and we look forward to next steps in purchasing a new Story home on this beautiful development.

We spoke to Emma the Story houses sales executive.
She was absolutely brilliant.
Answered all our questions in detail, nothing was too much trouble.
She was very knowledgeable too.
Contrary to the sales executive we spoke to in Croft at the Bellway homes site who was not very good and couldn't really answer anything we asked.
Emma needs a promotion in my opinion.

Both the sales executive, Tracy and Site manager, Nathan were really helpful and knowledgeable in their respective roles. I have experienced a really positive customer experience so far, having expressed an interest in one of their new releases on Tithe Meadow.

The opportunity to ask questions for the Site manager visit provided the confidence that we are buying a property that will match are needs.

We would just like to give a huge thanks to the staff at Foxbridge Rise, for their amazing customer service throughout our house buying journey! We moved into our gorgeous new home 3 weeks ago & couldn’t be happier… it’s everything we dreamed of & more. Special thanks must go to Wendy, who went above & beyond, even just ringing on one occasion to see if we were getting excited as our move was getting closer! Bought a new home on Story Homes St. Andrews gardens site at Thursby in Cumbria. The lovely sales lady, W, was so helpful with the initial purchase. Sadly the sale of our house fell through at the last minute and we were so disappointed. Four months later we were in a position to move and W again was extremely helpful. The sale of an almost completed home had fallen through and we loved it and bought it. Very straightforward process.
We just love the house. Ok, there were a few initial snags, but they were dealt with quickly and efficiently. We were one of only two homes on the site to have an air source heat pump and we had problems with this from the day we moved in.
Story homes sent quite a few people to remedy this and finally, as it was a new system to the builder, we got a brilliant young man fixed the problem. Other slight snags appeared, but were all dealt with quickly and efficiently. The customer service is good, keeping you informed as to appointments etc.
if we ever bought another new build home, we would buy from Story as we trust them to put things right.

Just had Lee round to deal with some snagging issues. He did a superb job and I am very happy with the results. He also identified an issue with a door and fixed it, even though it wasn't on his job sheet. First rate service.

I have dealt with customer service when living in a different home builders new build. The difference with Story is 100% better.
Emails are replied to, work is checked up on and nothing seems to be a problem. Always pleasant and never forgotten about. Both the on site team and Michael in The Customer Service Team are a credit to the company.

We are delighted to be purchasing a new Hewson home through Story Homes. Sam has worked hard to ensure the buying experience soo far has met all our needs, giving great advice regarding upgrades and where we would best utilise our budget given our needs.
Sam has also advised on how best to sell our property and again has removed the large amount of stress that this process usually causes and we are both extremely grateful.
Not long now till we will be in the house and we cannot wait to enjoy our forever home. Thanks Storey’ for everything.

We just reserved our new home and the experience with Story’s was excellent. Thorough, considerate and professional. Jay took time to talk us through the process and offered us guidance and advice on a related topics such as mortgage and solicitors. Everything was made very clear and a daunting event made to seem much easier in the process.

The ladies at the Scotby site, Amanda and Zara, were so helpful and informative and provided information regarding homes for First Times buyers local to the area, I was completely unaware of ! which in turn which help a family member hopefully secure the first home. They are a credit to the company

We have just reserved a plot on fairways development in Penrith . Storey houses are definitely one of the best building companies . The particular house we have chosen ticks all the boxes .

Michael was extremely helpful, friendly and quick to respond to my enquiry. Although Story Homes no longer managed the area I was asking about, he took the time to identify the correct property management company and point me in the right direction. A very positive and helpful customer-service experience.

In trying to sell our 7 year old Story Home’s Berkdale house, we were faced with a potential problem in which the surveyor appointed by the prospective buyers claimed that there was a fault with the roof structure. He claimed that roof truss restraint straps were missing from the gable end of the roof.
With the immediate assistance of Michael, Story Homes Aftercare Advisor and their Design Team, it was proved that the design of the roof did not in fact require restraint straps. We are very grateful for all their help and assistance at a very stressful time.

We have recently purchased a property at the Fairways. We are over the moon with our new home, and the service from Story Homes has been fantastic. Right from the point of reservation, our sales executive Ruby, has been helpful and approachable and kept in regular contact with us throughout the build process and during moving in. The site manager Sam has been really helpful and proactive with sorting some (minor) snagging issues when we moved in. All of the staff have been friendly and professional, and clearly take a lot of care and attention to detail with their work. The build quality of our house is amazing and we are so pleased with the options we have chosen. We look forward to making many happy memories in our lovely new home. Thank you Story Homes!

What a fantastic experience purchasing our dream home with Story Homes!!
Mark our Sales executive has been fantastic from the very start, communication was great and if ever we wanted more details or change a few things it was never a problem.

The handover process is faultless with Story Homes, Mark ensured we were introduced to our Site Manager Elliot during our home demo and then again from the day we moved. The attention to detail they gave us was superb and ensure everything was perfect in our new dream home.

The build and finish quality with Story Homes is fabulous and that quality is extended through to all the people that you may meet during your new home journey.

My partner and I reserved a plot at Stonebrook Meadows in the summer of 2025. We had two sales and unfortunately one of our sales withdrew not long after reservation causing us great stress about possibly loosing the reservation. Mark was fantastic, he was so patient with us, flexing deadlines to meet our needs, dealing with our constant phone calls to keep him updated. Mark promised us the plot was ours and finally in January 2026 we moved into our beautiful home. This was a significant milestone for us, something at times, we didn’t think we would reach.
We would personally like to thank Mark for his customer centered approach, his patience and dedication to meeting our needs. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him.

Once we moved into our home, Richard the site manager took over when we reported our snags, he too was fantastic and dealt with our questions promptly, resolving our minor snags almost immediately. The after care team too have also been fantastic.

Our home is beautiful, a home we never dreamed we would have. The build quality and standards are fantastic and we would highly recommend Story homes to anybody looking to purchase a new property in the future.
