After-sales service
My call to after-sales service was answered quickly. Heather Byron was friendly, polite and attempted to talk me through different options to resolve the issue (childlock not turning off) before booking an engineer. Disappointed that the cooker has gone wrong so soon but hopefully this will be resolved following the engineer’s visit. Thank you Heather for sorting out the repair in a professional way.

Recommend Stoves Range Cooker
Had a range cooker delivered a month ago and top oven door felt a bit odd on opening but thought it was the new catch. Transpired over the last month that the handle is loose. Phoned stoves today and an engineer booked in on Wednesday. Easy to connect with the company and excellent help from Andrew L in booking in the repair.
This cooker (induction range) was a replacement for the same gas model that gave 19 years trouble free service. So have no hesitation recommending Stoves (or the change from Gas to Induction) despite this small glitch that will be sorted in two days.

Donna was great at communicating my wishes and resolving my problem.
Poor product and even worse repair service
Would have given 0 stars if I could, terrible experience so far.
Range cooker arrived faulty, awful strong smell of burnt plastic despite running all cavities for 3-4 hours at high temp. Called Stoves, booked a "repair". All repairs are outsourced to a company called Pacifica - given that the cooker itself is made in China it seems that Stoves is nothing more than just a pretty name.
Expected a technician that would come and actually attempt a repair - what I got instead was completely clueless chap who arrived without any wiring diagram, any spare parts, and not even gas trained. Did not bother to attempy any repair at all - just slid the cooker away from the wall, switched it on, said " indeed smell is coming" and went away. To add to the insult, he damaged my wooden floor in the kitchen as he slid the whole cooker and did not bother to lift the front to roll it on the back wheels.
Absolutely useless product and company, this was last time I ever purchased any Stoves product.

Stoves Richmond deluxe range cooker
Andrew L at customer service was very knowledgeable and helpful and booked an engineer in minutes. Unfortunately this is the second time the cooker has failed within 18 months, hopefully this is the last time whilst still under warranty.
Stoves Richmond Deluxe 90Ei
Stoves Richmond Deluxe 90Ei – I’ve had two and both were not fit for purpose !!
I purchased a Stoves Richmond Deluxe 90Ei range cooker in June 2025 as the central appliance in a new all-electric kitchen. I had previously owned a Stoves Richmond Deluxe dual-fuel range cooker, which had worked reliably, so I expected the replacement to provide the same standard of performance. Instead, both the original unit and its replacement developed serious faults, resulting in a year-long and unacceptable customer experience.
Timeline of key events
• June 2025: Stoves Richmond Deluxe 90Ei purchased
• Late 2025: Problems emerged with inaccurate oven temperatures, noisy and prolonged fan operation, and moisture leaking from the oven doors onto a new oak-engineered floor.
• 29 December 2025 and 9 January 2026: White Eagle Repairs inspected the cooker. Engineers identified temperature and fan faults and noted that they could not explain the moisture problem, despite intact seals.
• 2 February 2026: I contacted Pacifica after receiving no update. I was told parts had been ordered, but there was no clear explanation of what they were for and no apparent record of the moisture issue.
• 16 February 2026: I contacted Pacifica again and was told there was still no progress while they awaited a response from Stoves.
• 19 February 2026: I bought the unit from rangecookers.co.uk and when they intervened, Stoves agreed to replace the unit. It was out of stock so I had to wait 6 weeks.
• 22 April 2026: The replacement unit was installed, but the original unit was not removed as expected and was left in my hallway until 29 April.
• 29 April 2026: I reported serious faults with the replacement cooker, including an apparent thermostat failure in the tall splitter oven, which caused the oven to continue heating far beyond the selected temperature.
• July 2026: A full refund and removal of the Stoves unit were agreed through rangecookers.co.uk. The planned disconnection and uplift on 10 July failed after further communication problems with Expert Logistics, and alternative arrangements were made for 13 July.
Summary of main issues
Performance and safety faults: The original cooker had inaccurate oven temperatures, excessive fan noise, a cooling fan that ran for around an hour after use, a non-functioning fan in the tall splitter oven, and moisture leaking from both oven doors. The replacement unit resolved some fan issues but introduced a more serious problem: the tall splitter oven appeared not to regulate temperature properly and continued heating well beyond the selected setting, raising a potential fire-safety concern.
Customer service failures: Communication from Stoves and Pacifica was poor throughout. I repeatedly had to chase for updates, was unable to contact Stoves directly, and was not kept informed about repair reports, parts, replacement arrangements, or uplift times. The lack of clear ownership made an already stressful problem much worse.
Logistics failures: Expert Logistics failed to communicate properly on more than one occasion. The original unit was not uplifted when the replacement was installed, leaving it in my hallway, and the later planned disconnection and uplift in July also failed after they claimed to have attended without being able to provide proof.
Outcome
Following the intervention of rangecookers.co.uk again, Stoves agreed to a full refund and to remove the faulty unit. I then ordered a Rangemaster replacement through rangecookers.co.uk and this has just been delivered.
Conclusion
This has been the worst customer experience I have encountered. For over a year, I was without a fully functioning range cooker despite having paid for one in June 2025. The first unit had multiple unresolved faults, and the replacement unit presented a serious potential safety risk. Stoves’ communication was minimal, Pacifica could not provide clear information, and Expert Logistics repeatedly failed to manage arrangements properly. By contrast, rangecookers.co.uk acted promptly, pursued the matter on my behalf, and ultimately helped secure a satisfactory outcome.

Stoves enquiry
I got through to the call handler easily and he was very curtious and handled my queries quickly and politely with a job reference and date of engineers visit provided with the minimum of fuss.
Cashback Con
Purchased a Stoves Mini Range cooker, cost nearly £1000.
Applied for the £100 cashback bonus, after them giving me the runner round, asking me for proof of purchase, serial number and countless other requests, after 6 weeks of my last communication with them, I have still not received the cashback bonus and no explanation.
I would suggest anyone purchasing a Cooker, etc.
Don't be surprised if you don't receive the Cashback bonus they are so keen on advertising 🥴
