Forget about watching a program here

Was so looking forward to watching Moonlighting. But rather than using this series as a hook to get people watching this streaming device they are actually doing the advertising companies are a disservice because it is impossible to watch an episode without constant buffering. No other streaming platform has this level of technical issues and even after turning off adblocker, clearing cache, turning the STV player off then on and turning off all other open tabs it STILL doesn't work. Forget about it advertising companies, go somewhere else. I know I have.

HORRENDOUS experience

HORRENDOUS experience. It buffers constantly (while other apps don't), closes abruptly, and is generally hard to navigate. If I wasn't so keen to watch Brookside, I'd give up altogether.

Never before in the annuls of…

Never before in the annuls of broadcasting has so much rubbish been crammed into one hour of television. How much longer are we going to be drip fed the lazy writing, unbelievable, plot lines and wooden acting by some of the Corrie staff, you seem to be of the opinion that, Oh,this is an institution,everyone will carry on watching regardless, breaking news, we won’t. Stop churning out this rubbish

Absolutely shocking

High time someone at STV was held accountable for this shambles. Same problems as every other persons review on here I.e. not loading, buffering constantly, shutting down on you and then you have to go through the whole advert shambles again right from the beginning. Never experienced anything like this with any other apps.

STV Awful player

Despite what STV customer services tell you regards clearing cache and reinstalling it still buffers, hangs, digitised and fails. The user interface is awful. Out of all the apps I use on fire stick, such as BBC player, STV is by far the worst. When will they listen to their users and do something about it instead of making up excuses by suggesting its a broadband or hardware issue!

I paid for the no-ads

I paid for the no-ads. It repeatedly reverts back to the 'free with ads'. Customer service takes the full 2 days to respond. Never an apology or refund offer! I go for ad-free with all my streaming services and this is the only one that there's ever been a problem with. And I wish they'd take that big picture of Ant an' Deck down. The last thing you want is their stupid grinning faces all the time when you go in to see if the problem's fixed. I'm finished with STV player. There's so many good things on other streaming channels.

The app is just so unreliable

The app is just so unreliable. Loosing programmes half way through shows then coming back after 10 or so mins after doing all the checks reloads etc.. the worst TV app of all time. Come on ITV get your act together it’s 2025

Worst stream on the Internet

Keeps throwing me back to the start of the first episode.
Repeated adverts then back to the start again.
