Disappointed with Suitsupply shoes, despite generally good experiences with their clothing
I’ve had good experiences with Suitsupply’s suits and other clothing pieces. In my opinion, their fabrics and overall clothing quality can be very solid for the price. That said, getting the right fit often depends heavily on finding a knowledgeable store representative who actually knows what they’re doing.
Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about their shoes.
I purchased a pair of Suitsupply loafers and only wore them a few times, yet the soles turned noticeably yellow while the upper leather still looks to be in excellent condition. For a product in this price range, that should not happen with such minimal wear. This seems like a clear product quality issue, not normal use.
What made the situation worse was the lack of customer support. I reached out by email and never received a response. I also tried calling customer service, but there was never anyone available to take the call. Since I couldn’t get help that way, I went into the store in person, and they still refused to offer any exchange, refund, or meaningful solution.
So while I’d still say Suitsupply can make good suits and clothing if you work with the right store associate, I would not recommend buying their shoes based on this experience. The loafers did not hold up, and the company did not stand behind the product when there was an obvious issue.
Buy their tailoring with caution, but skip the shoes.

I recently discovered Suit Supply after watching a vlog on you tube about quality menswear so I decided to order a navy cotton silk t shirt to try the delivery was really quick to the UK the t shirt was well packed and I was delighted with the quality and fit I’m a size medium. I was so impressed I ordered the same shirt in brown along with a jumper and trainers which again arrived quickly and well packed the quality is outstanding and this is my new go to for clothing. I’m going on a trip shortly and I’ve discovered the city I’m going to has a suit supply store so I better take the credit card. Highly recommended company first class communication
Me and my sons have great experience with Suitsupply, Online & in the store in Den Bosch.
Disappointing. I had high hopes after reading lots about the quality and price point of their clothes. But the store (Westfield) was cramped, staff disinterested and I felt they'd took one look at us and said "nope, not our type". The clothes looked good their approach to customer service/user experience doesn't match the hype.

I first got introduced to SuitSupply when I got my first job after university as I needed an affordable suit. I was particularly sold by the fact that they did offer repairs and servicing after the first sale.
SuitSupply as a company today is not the same as it used to be! I took my suits in for servicing about a YEAR ago! They charged me money and have still not delivered a YEAR later! I am specifically talking about the store in Mayfair London. I have gone back to that store multiple times over the last year to check on my order and they keep telling me they will get in contact with me and have not done so!
SuitSupply i have had enough!!!! I want a full refund on the money I paid and interest over the period of time you have held my money without delivering on the service I paid in full for. I also want my clothes returned to me as soon as possible!!!!!
To other young men out there, save your money and go somewhere else that will reliably service your suits because it’s not just the initial purchase that matters. It matters that you can go back to your tailors to help maintain your suit for a while to come.

Actually quite a big fan of SuitSupply but I did a large order – £1,671 – and unfortunately one garment had to be returned.
After 3 weeks, I was notified the item was being sent back to me due to this not meeting the return requirements.
A photo of proof was attached after I requested such evidence.
The photo was of a completely different garment under a completely different customer’s name.
When I highlighted this, they said they are closing the case and their point still stands.
Thank goodness for the CRA and AMEX credit card buyer protection.
Purchase elsewhere.

Overall I had a good experience at the Suitsupply store in Düsseldorf and the consultation itself was very pleasant. I had an appointment on March 9th at 16:00 with Giuseppe and had three trousers adjusted. I also purchased a black belt with a gold buckle.
Unfortunately there was one major issue: when I arrived home I noticed that the belt was not in the shopping bag. It seems that the belt was accidentally forgotten when packing the items after checkout.
This is a bit frustrating because Düsseldorf is quite a long drive for me. I have already contacted the store to resolve the issue and I hope this can be handled quickly and easily.
Aside from that, the overall in-store experience and the advice were very good – but forgetting an item that was paid for is obviously a significant inconvenience.
Edit: Problem was solved quickly, thanks to Suitsupply Duesseldorf

In the beginning I was a bit insecure about the size .
I mostly wearing size 44 ,but I would give it a try.
And I would like to have a more loos fit .
But I have to say ,I have to use to this fit ,but it's more fasion at this moment .
The quality is absolutely top ,and this size 46 is perfect.

Suitsupply is my favorite brand and makes up at least half my wardrobe after 4 years shopping there. Their clothing and suits are of excellent quality, especially for the price. If you have a leaner, more European build like the models on the site you won’t even need to have the suit jackets or dress shirts tailored because the standard sizing is perfect—it really is remarkable how well the clothes fit out of the box. And the shipping is lightning fast: I don’t think I’ve ever waited more than 2 business days for a standard (as opposed to custom) order to arrive. They run a top-notch operation and I’ll gladly keep letting them take my money.

I like Suitsupplys clothing and think the quality is generally good. I have a lot of clothes from them, and order quite frequently. As there is no Suitsupply locally, I have to use shipping and here is where my frustration lies. The currier they use is UPS and it is the worst company I have ever delt with. I pay for home delivery every time, but never get it. UPS always claim they have tried to deliver, but never do. This means I have to go to a far away pick up point every time. As I tend to order big, this is a serious disadvantage as I have to carry large boxes for a considerable distance. It’s at the point where I don’t know if I will ever order from Suitsupply again, as it enfuriates me having to deal with UPS.
The reason this reflects negatively on Suitsupply, beyond being their carrier, is that I have complained about this on numerous occasions, but only get generic «apologies for the inconvenience, but there is nothing we can do» type of feedback. To me, that is a bit disappointing and I would expect a little more. At least don’t offer at home delivery, when it in reality does not work…

This was my first purchase from Suitsupply and it didn't disappoint. I wanted a wool Navy Blue Overcoat. After looking at several ones online for about 2 weeks, I decided this one from Suitsupply looked the best. I ordered it on Monday and received it the following Friday. After opening the box, I realized that it came with its very own carrying bag, a very nice carrying bag. I wasn't expecting that. The bag even has 2 slots for your shoes. Then, I opened the bag and pulled out the coat. Wow. This coat is beautiful. Everything about it screams quality from the texture of the wool to the exquisite stitching. The pictures online doesn't do it justice. I'm 6'1....185lbs...and wear a 42R. It fit perfectly. I may have the sleeves taken up about an inch but that's nothing. That's just personal preference. I could leave it alone and it would be fine to. The package also comes with a return label in case you want to send it back for whatever reason. It doesn't get any easier than that for returns. If your looking for an overcoat, I highly recommend one from Suitsupply.

Its pure chaos in store. You get forgotten and have long waits. However, the suits are fabulous. The individual team members are all very good - but somehow its hard to get them to actually focus on you.

I am extremely disappointed by Suitsupply’s handling of a confirmed quality issue and refund for order 0461404418.
After reporting a defect and providing photos, Suitsupply’s Quality Team confirmed the issue and issued a return label. At no point was I informed that a refund would be limited to a gift card.
After escalation, Escalation Management explicitly confirmed in writing on Saturday, 24 January 2026, that a refund of €249 had been processed to my original PayPal payment method. The message stated clearly that the refund had been sent to PayPal and that it might take a few business days to appear. Based on this written confirmation, the matter should have been fully resolved.
However, instead of receiving the confirmed PayPal refund, Suitsupply unilaterally issued a gift card, without my consent and in direct contradiction to their own written confirmation from the previous day.
What makes this even worse is Suitsupply’s latest public response yesterday, where they stated:
“Please be assured that your case is currently under review by our management team, who are assessing the full history and communications. Once this review is complete, we will contact you with a clear update.”
Despite this promise to review the full conversation history, their subsequent email simply reversed their own confirmed refund, falsely claiming that a PayPal refund was “no longer technically possible” and that a gift card solution had been communicated beforehand — which is factually incorrect and unsupported by the written record.
This is not a misunderstanding. It is a documented contradiction between:
• a written PayPal refund confirmation, and
• a later unilateral decision to substitute store credit without consent.
The lack of internal consistency, transparent communication, and respect for basic consumer rights has completely destroyed my trust in the brand. I am now escalating this matter externally through European consumer protection channels.
Based on this experience, I can no longer recommend Suitsupply when it comes to after-sales support, escalation handling, or refund reliability.
Update - 04.02.2026: Refund was eventually received on February 4, 2026 — only after weeks of contradictory statements, escalation, and external pressure. The resolution confirms that earlier claims of “technical impossibility” were inaccurate. This directly contradicts the public reply to this review.
