Placed an order for limited edition mclaren sunglasses at end of March. A customer service representative emailed me advising that there was a delay with the order due to being out of stock and asked would i like to take an alternative or cancel. I decided i would cancel the order and emailed back stating this. After 6 days (4 working days) I have still not had a response. I have then tried the sungod chat support raising a ticket only to receive another message saying that their usual reply time was 4 days! Im very dissapointed with the reponse time especially given I havent had one yet! This is poor customer service at its finest.

I purchased a set of sun glasses and paid extra for a DHL Express delivery and they never arrived had no tracking ID , tried the chat bot and it raises a ticket and says someone will be back to you in 1 to 2 working days but not heard anything , tried emailing but no response . Such a poor customer service which is a shame as I really liked the sun glasses and feel completely dejected
This is the second time using SunGod. First experience was really good, I had an issue with the frames and the frames was replaced with-in a few days. I decided to order again from SunGod, but this experience has been shocking. I pre-ordered a pair of sunglasses, but the delivery date changed a few days before I was due to received the sunglasses. Tried to cancel the order and this is where the issues started. Cancelled over 1 week ago and I'm still waiting for confirmation that the order has been cancelled and when I'm due to receive my refund!!!! STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY!!!

Besides their great products (I have 2 sunglasses for cycling and some accessories), I really want to applaud the support team. There were some wrong items in my order, but I received everything as initially ordered after just one mail.

It has now been 18 days since I ordered my glasses, 16 days since they falsely said they have been dispatched, 3 answered chat bot queries, 3 unanswered emails and 4 reviews with no response.
How can this company be a B Corp???
Sun God's is running £3.8m of liabilities, according to its accounts, yet in its reviews section it is asking customers if they would be prepared to invest .
Like other recent reviews, customer service seems non-existent. I’m sure the product is good but I haven’t received mine. No response to emails, the AI bot on the website is no help, and there is no phone number to speak to a person. Placed my order on 20 March and my credit card was charged. My order still hasn’t been despatched, as of 1 April. The custom design I ordered says on the website if I order today, it can be delivered tomorrow. Why the delay? If you have any trouble with shipping or delivery, there is no effective route to escalate and resolve. Hoping for a reply to this review before I am forced to ask my credit card company to reverse the charge.
I’ll start with the only positive: SunGod actually makes a high-quality product. The sunglasses themselves are excellent for cycling. However, the experience of actually receiving what I paid for was an absolute circus.
The Logistics Failures:
• Incomplete Order: My order arrived missing the bottom frame (£40) and the case/cleaning kit (£25).
• Ghost Notifications: I received a "Dispatch in Full" email the day after the incomplete package was already on my doorstep.
• Customer Service Lag: Their "24-hour response" promise is a fiction. It took three days and multiple follow-ups to get a human to acknowledge the error.
The "Surprise Gift" Insult:
After telling them to forget the frame but to please send the paid-for cleaning kit, they promised next-day dispatch. What arrived? A microfiber cloth and some SunGod vinyl stickers branded as a "surprise gift."
Sending marketing materials as a "gift" while you are still holding onto £25 of my money for a missing kit is incredibly tone-deaf. I didn't pay for the privilege of being your walking billboard; I paid for a case to protect my glasses.
The Outcome:
When I suggested they refund the kit as a gesture of goodwill for the week of chasing and shipping errors, they flatly refused. It took over a week to finally get the items I originally ordered.
Verdict:
If you’re lucky enough to get your full order on day one, you’ll love the glasses. If they mess up, be prepared for slow communication, "gifts" you didn't ask for, and zero accountability. I was half-tempted to return the lot, as the sour taste of their "support" almost ruins the product.
First time ever ordering, last time! I bought a couple of pairs of glasses, paid for next day delivery and waited. Next day, call from DHL stating they cant deliver (not sungod fault, but use a better courier as this is not uncommon for DHL). Saturday, try to deliver again but of course no one home as we are now away, hence paying for next day delivery. The issue is LACK of customer service or support. Despite emails, nothing, no other way of contacting them, really disappointing. So not even tried the glasses, but the customer service just isnt there. So now you need to question, what would happen if you had an issue with a pair you bought (lifetime guarantee), you'd never be able to claim as emails painful or unresponsive and no contact numbers. Sadly a negative experience, and I was recommended by a friend who has spent over £600 with them in the last year! I suppose good if it works, but I will be updating him as to lack of support when an issue so he can think twice from now on.
Third pair of glasses I have purchased from Sun God. Never had any issues or need to contact customer service before. Bought a replacement pair and they turned up but are a different colour to what I ordered. I sent a picture and requested an exchange, I just wanted what I ordered.
They asked for more photos which I sent 6 days ago. I have chased for a response daily since and have heard nothing back. Frustrating as I need them for a holiday this weekend! I either need my money back or the pair I ordered ASAP.

This is my second purchase from Sungod. Im still wearing my first pair of sunglasses after 2 years. This time I ordered 2 pairs of sunglasses with a 50%off offer. When I checked my receipt the discount had not been applied. I contacted the company straight away. They got straight back to my and reimbursed the money. What a fantastic service Sungod provide. Friends have also had similar service.

I've owned a pair of SunGod Pace breakers for the last 8 years and have always been super impressed with them, so when they broke I was concerned I wouldn't be able to get a decent replacement. As a long shot I contacted SunGod about a possible warranty claim and to my immense surprise they honoured their warranty and helped me find a replacement (my exact glasses had long been discontinued). From day one of dealing with them I was very impressed by every aspect of their customer care, especially Velizar who was a pleasure to deal with and worked with me to get the exact custom product I wanted. Due to the quick dispatch they were unable to amend it in time but Ryan was able to sort a case out for me. Amazing product and customer service!
