This is a great golf bag that I've purchased, except for the leg spring mechanism. It started off fine but has popped out of its socket at the base multiple times, and the customer service is sub-par.... See more

Sun Mountain umbrella

I got a Sun Mountain umbrella because I'd had a number of they're golf bags, & was very pleased with them. Unfortunately, the umbrella was a big let down. It was only about 15 months old, and had seen very little use, but seemed to do it's job effectively, when one day, whilst fixed it the holder on my golf trolley, the shaft just snapped for no apparent reason, it wasn't even windy. The customer service response was disinterested and ineffective. I would avoid!

Worst bag ever

Worst bag ever . Yes it’s light but at the cost of quality . Most annoying feature are the straps . Constantly twisted and I had to tie knots on the ends because they slip out when carrying .
I would never buy anything sun mountain again . And would actively discourage anyone I know from buying sun mountain now .
Very very disappointing

£220 down the drain.

I recently bought the new H2NO elite trolley bag. I bought it because of the individual club dividers and based on the fact that it's described as a hard wearing bag for trolley use on their site. Whilst the bag looks great when you pull it out of the wrapper, it doesn't last long. Even with the upmost care, a month down the line the waterproofing on the bag seems to have blistered or started to peel, even in areas where the trolley doesn't touch. The faintest bit of pressure on the bag seems to leave a mark. It's far from robust. I wouldn't recommend this product at all, especially when it's sold on being designed to be tough. I'll be looking to buy another bag next year now. £220 down the drain.

Stand behind the guarantee and offer no customer service beyond this.

My bag has developed a fault and they don't care. It is 15 months old and has been well cared for. Because of this (i.e out of guarantee) they are not even interested in hearing about my problem.

Got an airing when I made contact but no proactivity. The fact they actually have a "Returns Manager" says it all - far from the Carlsberg Complaints Department.

Never again, they make money on the inbuilt obsolescence in their bags. Purchased a Titleist waterproof bag instead.

Fantastic service and very fast delivery

This company is excellent. I upgraded my entire set of golf clubs to Boccieri, online from Sun Mountain. First I ordered the Heavy Putter - and I was so impressed by the Boccieri Control System - that I quickly placed orders for the Heavy Woods, then the Heavy Irons, and finally - the Heavy Wedges. All four of my orders were processed promptly and I was kept informed of delivery progress each time the status changed. All four orders were delivered within one week of placing them.

I thoroughly recommend Sun Mountain Golf.

Unhappy with Micro Cart

I recently purchased a Micro Cart in the belief that my Sun Mountain H2O would fit perfectly. Unfortunately, I was disappointed to discover that the bag kept twisting and needed to be readjusted during a round.

When talking to Sun Mountain I was informed that only bags specifically designed for the Micro Cart would fit the lower bag support. Tightening the upper bag supports only compresses the bag and restricts removal of the outer clubs.

Reply from Sun Mountain Golf

To clarify, we advised that the H2N0 bag purchased was manufactured to have a generic base to fit on most golf trolleys.

The only bag specifically manufactured to fit and lock with the Micro Cart base plate is the Sync bag.

A very good quality piece of kit.

I bought this Sun Mountain Golf bag for my partner for his Birthday . He was looking for a good quality travel bag on wheels to transport his golf clubs when he travels abroad. I researched all the bags I could find, and this one came out on top. I was impressed with the video it made travelling with your clubs look so easy,so on this basis one was purchased. Ordering was very simple and delivery was very prompt within 5 days. My partner was very impressed with it as soon as he had unwrapped it. Last week it was used for a golf trip to Portugal and it was brilliant he could manage the bag so easily due to the wheels the bag just glided along. Anyone who is thinking of purchasing this bag would find that it was money well spent . A very well made robust and stylish trolley, one that I would not hesitate to recommend .

Quality goods, excellent deisgn and a great customer service when an needs

I was recommended to change my golf pull trolley to a newer type push trolley. It was not until a playing partner, who owns a Sun Mountain MCB push trolley, suggested on a long uphill hole that we swapped each other trolleys on the hole that I realised how much easier, more comfortable and better on my back a push trolley could be. At the end of the round I ordered a MCB and had 20 months of trouble free golf with it. I was so pleased with the trolley I have also purchased the matching MCB bag to go with it.
This March I was playing golf in a fourball when one of our players lagged behind after we had putted out on the 4th and when he eventually caught us up on the par3 5th he said his electric trolley had packed up. I turned to him ready to say that having no motor or battery to break is a great advantage of the manual trolley when my MCB collapsed. When I got it home I found that the frame had broken/snapped where a bolt passes through it at the point it folds. I phoned Sun Mountain and Emailed their customer services a photo of the point where it had broken and they came back within the hour stating a new trolley would be despatched immediately as they had never had a frame failure like that before. One of the players in our roll-up has had his MCB for 4 years without a problem so I think I was extremely unlucky.
The only issue I have heard of is the brake cable can snap but as that was from our pro who hirers them out to visitors.
