Awful website, awful product. Can't even log in to the site. I had to call to cancel my subscription and the lady argued with me for 20 minutes about cancelling it.

What a joke
What a joke. They immediately try to upsell their service to you. Their offerings do not match what is listed on the website. This is right of the rip-offs of the early century. Also no way are they US based. Pure bull sugar,
These people are Crooks!
These people are criminals! I used them in December 2024. I only agreed to a 1 time use not a monthly subscription! They have been taking $49.95 from my account since. I called my bank and charged back but my bank only gave me 4 months credit. I called these crooks and asked for a refund for the other 4 months. They told me no, they also told me that I agreed to a subscription which I NEVER DID> Do not trust thease crooks!!!!!
Technically pleased, financially very displeased
We were pleased with the technical support we received in December 2024….our computer ran more efficiently for several months. However, even though we specifically stated that we only wanted/needed a one-time service, we found that Support.com has been charging our credit card monthly (this service is not even listed on their website) We have NOT used their service since 12/24 and have tried several times to resolve this problem…calling customer service, chatting online…..but we continue to be charged every month. We will NOT use this service again and recommend others use caution before using as well.
Infuriating auto-renewal
The technician (based in Philippines) did his best to fix Windows 11 update on my Dell Optiplex, but he never was able to resolve the problem. Worse, when I bought the service, I specifically asked not to be placed on an auto-renew subscription. This was ignored, and I got charged an extra 49.95, which was a hassle to have reversed. If you have no other place to go, then give them a try - but beware of the subscription.
“Great Experience with QUOTEX

WASTE OF TIME
After they took my payment, I had to listed to 10 minutes of product commercial on their phone line. WE DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS !!!
No support.com….
Completely agree with every other one star review here. Had a subscription to support.com several years back, they were amazing. Ran into some tech problems on a new laptop and thought I’d try them again, paid $149 for a one-year subscription. Had an awful time getting anyone’s attention, when I finally did I also got a “here’s the ticket, we’ll call you” line. Took them over four hours to get back to me, by then I turned to another source for help. Will try and get a refund tomorrow…
Total disappointment
At first it seemed as though they could help but then they declined my payment method due to it being a prepaid card. I don't have Bank account or credit card so I couldn't get the help I needed
It's been over 24 hours and still no call back
Having trouble with a hacked Facebook account. They assured me they could help. As an ex support tech myself I've exhausted every avenue on the front end I can think of, I need help beyond what a normal person can do. In my desperation I reached out to this formerly reputable company for help. Apparently I was mistaken. I *will* get that refund if I don't get help.
Exact same result as the person below
Exact same result as the person below. This is a total scam. They did ultimately call me back about 48 hours later on a Sunday evening. The 5 star reviews listed here are obviously fake. Don't even think about dealing with this company.
BEWARE
Writing a negative review is uncommon for me, but the poor experience warrants a warning to others. My computer speed in addition to being concerned about potentially being hacked prompted me to reach out to Support.com today at 9 a.m. The online agent requested a payment of $55.02 in addition to signing up for a subscription to receive support, which I promptly paid and completed the signup for services. Once the agent confirmed payment, they stated that tech support would call me directly within an hour or sooner. After two hours of no updates, I called online support. The representative I was connected with had difficulty with English, which required me to spell out my name and email address at least four times. I’m a professional and am extremely conscious about speaking clearly and slowly since I speak to clients all day. After locating the order ID, the representative promised to escalate the order and have a technician call back as soon as possible. Six hours later, no contact has been made. I went ahead and requested a refund online, hopefully there will not be any issues with the refund. Please be cautious when considering this service.
They couldn't fix a simple thing like…
They couldn't fix a simple thing like no sound coming out of the speakers. 30 min then they wanted a different person to call me back a few hours later and would not refund my money when asked. Problem is not resolved I got no refund. Buyer beware they are not in the US. Sounds like Nigeria to me.
I purchased a vip
I purchased a vip, along with gold bars and other rewards that I haven't used, but I no longer have. After I finish each level, my game freezes and I have to start the game over again therefore loosing precious time. I'm sure I won't be reimbursed, and if that's the case I will be deleting this game.
I WAS a happy customer of Support.com…
I was a happy customer of Support.com for years. I was happy to pay $39.99 every month and only needed help 1 or 2 times each year. But a couple of years ago, they were apparently taken over by another company. This company suddenly required that I pay $500+ up front for a two year subscription with no monthly payment plan (which is how my company is structured.)
Today I checked Support.com for their plans. To get coverage for multiple computers you have to call the call center, which I did. 'JODY' took my call. She wasn't very happy with me when I asked her to please set aside her script and just talk to me about their multiple-item plans. She did explain their plan not me, though not very pleasantly. Eventually, I learned you can get a plan IFF you pay $240 up front for one year and after one year, it will revert back to monthly payments.
Bottom line, Support.com is very inflexible on their payment options. I could easily pay for year one in advance today, but I don't know that Support.com will be in busiess or have the same ownership 6 months from now, so I'd like to just pay monthly. If I'm allowed to do that in one year, why can't I do it now?
Since 2017 this was my Dream Geek Team
Since 2017 this was my Dream Geek Team. They always answered immediately, we set up the remote access and they called me when they were done with everything fixed. Today...the phone options were different and I was badgered, for 46 minutes, into "upgrading" for $239. I've paid $199/yr since 2017......it's financially impossible for me to give them another $239 at this time. Because my call in went to a Salesforce rather than the Tech department I was issued a Ticket/work order. I was told....over 5 hours ago that a tech would be calling to fix my computer. No call...I've used their website chat, twice to try and follow up on this, both times being told Tech will call soon. A Once GREAT Company is resorting to what feels like extortion(?) to force current customers to upgrade...UNKIND and UNWISE
