I visited the clinic having an issue with a contact between two teeth (sixth and seventh down right). This was successfully fixed by applying a new filling. However, after the intervention I could not chew hard food (such as seeds, toasted bread, musli etc.) with the new filling as I was experiencing discomfort and sharp pain. Initially was thinking that the tooth is still sensitive, and the pain will go away, but that was not the case and I consequently started chewing on the other side. Due to the busy days I spent couple of months with this situation and then booked appointment to discuss the issue. When I showed up in the clinic, before any discussion, I was asked by the assistant to make an x-ray. This I refused because it has been done the previous time and I didn’t want to pay again. Later I described the issue to the same dentist that was applying the filling, couple of months ago, and she explained that most probably there is some micro crack(s) in the filling. I was than charged for consultation (round 250 dkk) and received an offer for a new filling which had their standard prices and no discount even though it was their work that caused me the problem. In the end I fixed the issue with another dentist who simply replaced the filling, but I paid double.

Brief follow-up: After my review, I was contacted by the clinic and received very detailed explanation and apologies. They were very polite and sorry for the miscommunication from their side. I was also compensated for the solution that didn’t work, as we both agreed that is the right thing to do.
