The customer service is amazing! Thanks Brian!

When I ordered three pieces of equipment for my microphone setup, I ordered them from different websites. I should’ve ordered them all from Sweetwater.

I bought a $12 cable from Sweetwater. Though it was just a cable, Brian from Sweetwater made sure that I had received it and was happy with it. The cable has been great, and about half a year later, Brian called to make sure that I was happy with it. And I was! Sweetwater has amazing customer service. If I buy anything else, I’m buying it from Sweetwater.

I Brought In A Dual Showman Fender Head That Needed Many Repairs That I Have Been Using 65 Years !!! When The Repairs Were Done I Went Home To Try It Out !! The Dual Showman Head Sounds Like Brand New Like It Sounded In 1965 I Love This Store & I Will Now Be A Customer For Life

Sweetwater is my go-to music retailer. Call me a gear snob if you like, but as a working musician, recording artist, and mixing engineer, I rely on high-quality, dependable equipment. Sweetwater consistently delivers on that front.
What truly sets them apart is the personalized service—having a dedicated sales engineer who understands my needs and preferences makes every purchase smoother and more informed. Pair that with their secure credit line through Synchrony Bank, and it’s easy to see why I remain a loyal, returning customer.
For professionals who take their craft seriously, Sweetwater just gets it.

Great company

I always have a great experience with Sweetwater. Good prices, outstanding service. They will literally call you to relay updates on your order, as well as check in after you get it to ensure everything is ok and see if you have any questions.

Excellent customer service and great prices!!

I am so amazed! I ordered a lovely, pocket chakra wind chime yesterday at an excellent price with free shipping. Then, this morning, Nate called me to thank me for my purchase and to let me know that my order had been shipped. I will definitely be shopping here again. :)

Excellent customer service!

I ordered Taylor cleaning oil and a cloth to clean my Taylor guitar. Seeetwater called me to say the product is on the way. I have previous experience with Sweetwater and it’s all been excellent!

Blown out of the water (In a good way)

My experience with Sweetwater blew me out of the water (pun intended). I have rarely, almost never, been treated with so much care by a company in any sector, let alone the musical one. Every single need of mine was attended to and I was personally assigned an incredible Engineer, Aaron Cornelio, who attended to anything I needed and asked me about things I might need help with before I even asked him. They have a solid, well-spoken-of warranty as well. Talk about not being just a number for once.

I cannot stress enough how impressed I am by Sweetwater and their customer service, but especially, by Aaron (Aaron Cornelio) specifically. He did such an incredible job and Sweetwater gained a customer because of this. Aaron, you rock! Sweetwater, keep doing things right. This is such a testament to not only great business practice but how we should try to treat people in general. God bless you greatly.

Resolved - Sweetwater still takes customer service seriously

With one salesperson they gave me incorrect info, then never answered a couple of my communications, took a week to answer a couple others. Finally I asked for a different salesperson. I asked for someone with good knowledge of synths, synth related gear, and DAWS/VSTs and they gave me someone who plays piano. The new person introduced himself, asked how he could help, then passed me off to someone else without communicating that to me. I had a number of items in cart trying to decide between some - not meaning to buy them all as I already communicated to them and was asking for advice in the decision, and a discount that one said he could do. I assumed he would give me an amount then I’d decide. Instead they processed my whole cart and sent a link to it knowing I had said I was deciding between some of the items. I give up. If they don‘t want my money and all I‘ll be spending in the future I‘ll go elsewhere. Can‘t believe other people have good experiences. Must be the luck of the draw with salespeople.

UPDATE:
John Salmon got in touch and remedied everything. Nice to know Sweetwater still does take their customer service seriously. I have a new sales engineer I’m looking forward to working with, who seems to be the right fit for me. I encourage anyone with issues to get in touch with someone at the company and discuss it. I wasn’t expecting such a good response (compared to other companies). Very happy with Sweetwater!

Beautiful Guitar!

I purchased a Martin guitar for my husband's birthday. The guitar is absolutely beautiful! The customer service at Sweetwater is amazing! Excellent communication to make sure that our order was perfect. The pricing can't be beat. Fast shipping! We would highly recommend Sweetwater for anyone looking to purchase musical instruments. Beyond pleased with our purchase and experience with them!

Next level Customer Service

Recently order Zildjian cymbals from Sweetwater. What impressed me most was the human touch immediately after I placed the order. Received a call from Clint Bransteter just to ensure that the order was received, to review the order and to advise me that I could call him on his direct line if I had any follow up questions. Cymbals were received in good order and Clint's a rockstar!

Every time I bought something from this…

Every time I bought something from this company it's been great. Even the time I bought a 2024 epiphone less paul tribute ebony, and there were problems with the potentiometers. I contacted them and as soon as they had more in stock, they sent me out a new one. The little bag of a candy that they send you with.Each purchase is pretty cool too.
Buying online is iffy at best, but this company has gained my trust. I highly recommend them.
See, the thing is you're going to get products. Sometimes that flip past the cracks and aren't good with this company.That's not a problem, because you just return it.And you get a brand new one. No hassle no i'm not arguing just yes we will send you a new one.

There is a trick with purchasing guitars. Yes, if they're over a certain amount of money, they perform an in depth inspection before they send it. My guitar didn't cost as much so I didn't get that inspection. But that's cool, like I said they did not hesitate to rectify it when problems didn't arise.

Quality Control Sucks!!!

Purchased an electric guitar from this company a while back and noticed a quality control issue right away. I should have sent the guitar back immediately but I didn't want to go thru the hassle at the time. Sweetwater is known for standing behind their products and providing great quality control and inspection of their guitars before they ship to their customers. So they failed in that regard when it came to my purchase and now I have to go thru the trouble and added expense of fixing this issue myself. Not fair and just wanted to file a formal complaint and warn others about the quality control issue this company has.
Needless to say, I will no longer order ANY THING from this company ever again!!!

Excellent experience

I recently (late May) received a guitar that I reserved in February on backorder. I had a very good experience from having initial questions answered about my short list of guitars, to monthly follow ups on the status of my order, to finally receiving notice that the guitar had arrived. The guitar was well packed and arrived in mint condition. Excellent customer service. Also worth noting, between the time I reserved the guitar until the time I received it, tariffs had been levied and the price of the instrument substantially rose; however, Sweewater honored the price at the time I reserved it.

Zack perfect support!

I was in the U.S. for about a week and placed an order with two-day delivery. They rushed to get me my new guitars, and they arrived in perfect condition—well tuned and ready to play.
