I've recently emigrated back to South Africa from the United Kingdom after 13 years and both needed and wanted to keep my UK mobile number to maintain my links to the UK as we eventually plan on returning.

The Swytch service has offered me the option to continue receiving calls and texts from the UK to my existing UK number at a relatively low monthly cost.

Simon from the Swytch team, in particular, made the process as simple and painless as possible, keeping me in the loop at every stage of my number porting and being very responsive to my questions and concerns.

Very easy to set up. I had some issues as I had previously registered in the past however this was quickly sorted by the great support team. Within a couple of days my existing UK mobile number has now been taken over by Swytch. If you're like me who has multiple phone numbers such as work and personal and are an expat you still want your UK number, this is a great solution as most phones can only have two SIM cards simultaneously active. Great price too.

It does not work.
Most of the times it doesn't connect.
The call just fails does not even go to mailbox. So no chance of calling back.

Super easy to use service, I was slightly overwhelmed trying to work out how to keep my UK number in operation as I moved to Australia (and didn’t want to spend too much) luckily stumbled upon Swytch! Simon has been a great help, quick & clear communication taking me through the port-in process. Couldn’t recommend enough if you’re in a similar situation
