They do not have age groups so if you’re older ( I was 57) it’s likely there will be much younger people looking for a life partner , start a family etc. I wrote to them twice to express my feedback about not dividing groups by ages and they never responded. Not impressed It’s not cheap to do this so it feels more valuable to be exposed to people closer to your age

Tantra Tragedy

The Tantra Speed Dating event sells itself as a spiritually enriching experience—and sure, it can be.

That said, the St. Pete, FL event draws a very mixed crowd, with ages ranging from early 20s to mid-50s, and intentions that are all over the map. Some people are genuinely looking for a relationship; others seem to be there just to vibe, make friends, or collect yet another “transformational” experience.

As a 33-year-old man with no kids, never married, and not planning on having children, I can say bluntly: none of my matches were remotely compatible.

If you’re hoping to meet someone in their late 20s to early 30s who’s grounded, child-free, and has their life together, you may want to lower your expectations—or look elsewhere. At best, you’ll have some interesting conversations. At worst, you’ll wonder why you didn’t just stay home

The Tantra Institute (aka Tantra speed…

The Tantra Institute (aka Tantra speed dating)

The reason I decided to go with Tantra is because I saw some direct interaction during their speed dating which was very exciting. The session began positively, but now I sense that I've fallen victim to a scam and horrible organization. In Tantra the likelihood of meeting someone you like is very low, unless you have no preferences at all.

The primary reasons include:

1. On original speed dating you can sit against each individual and talk. On Tantra you can communicate only with a limited number of persons regardless of how many showed up. Even when encountering 10 ladies or gentlemen, you're limited to contacting only 8 of them, as the organizer dictates what kind of individuals you should connect with (regardless of your preferences).

2. It seems like they really don't have any age limits: I saw a 23 year old boy massaging a 45 years old lady. And they think it's normal.

3. They don't even try to maintain a gender balance. You might see 11 women and 18 men. Some men will find themselves without a partner and will have to stand and wait their turn. And you have to pay up to $150 for that "speed" dating.

4. While the concept and process of Tantra are great, the arrangement is very poor: organizers seem more focused on promoting supplementary products than facilitating meaningful connections between individuals. Basically, they are not interested in matching you with someone, they just want you to spend more and more money on other services.

5. During the event, you may be left with no choice but to practice polyamorous relationships. If you don't agree, you should step back (basically give up your match). For instance they can easily invite another male to be a part of your couple (hugging or giving massage to the same lady).

I wasted 2 hours waiting to sit with people I was interested in, but the organizer stopped the event before we finished the first lap and started selling additional products.

They call themselve "institute" but act as a small group of scammers. If you want to file a complaint you will be stuck as they do not disclose their legal names in any place. They don't have any real address, you can nont google them. This is just a gang of shady loafers that sucks the money from you via different platforms.
