Efficient, price was good, the chap doing the work was excellent and very happy with the work as if nothing had been done, all good. Yes would use them again.

Really professional surveying service
Really professional surveying service. Without a doubt the best report we’ve seen. Would happily recommend.

Tapco Homedry were great and I am SO glad I chose them to do this job for me. Nigel and Mike were terrific and worked hard and cleaned up beutifully. The job was made harder by the fact that they had to rectify previous bad workmanship. Very pleased and would use this company again.
No hesitation in recommending Tapco. A completely stress-free experience!!
Tapco were excellent in identifying our damp and timber issues then explaining what treatments they thought were necessary and why. They were easy to communicate with and quick to book in the work. The workmen were extremely punctual, helpful and friendly.
What a great experience from Tapco
What a great experience from Tapco! Mack, the guy who came to do the work on our flat did an excellent job. He explained everything he was doing as the job progressed and answered all my questions regarding the damp proof work being done. The finished job is superb. Many thanks Mack.

Brilliantly professional and highly skilled experience
Brilliant experience! Would highly recommend Tapco - from the informative, in-depth initial survey with Mike to the artistry-level plastering by Kaylan. As first-time buyers, this was our first bit of work on the house and Tapco made us feel comfortable, supported and informed every step of the way. Kaylan and his colleague opened up our fireplace and damp-proofed the inner and surrounding walls to a very high standard - even mirroring the curved edges on the wall of the chimney breast. Excellent experience all around!
Highly recommended
I thoroughly recommend Tapco who has just finished installing damp proof protection in my house. Wayne (who removed my old plaster & installed the new damp proofing) and Michael (the carpenter) were both absolutely terrific. They were a pleasure to have in my house and I am delighted with their work. It was a difficult job; my house is early C19 and Listed and the work included removing part of my staircase (to access the damp) and then re-installing the staircase again afterwards. Both men performed an excellent job. They always arrived promptly, worked extremely hard and cleared up meticulously at the end of each day. I don’t normally write reviews, but I am prompted to write this because the quality of their work was exceptional.
Always provide a really good service
Always provide a really good service, recently completed some damp proofing works. Jimmy who carried out the work as excellent
Great job, very impressed
I have been very impressed by the service and the quality of the work completed by Tapco. I am remortgaging my house and needed considerable damp and timber work completed to get the mortgage approved with the necessary guarantees. They provided the survey and quote quickly. The work was completed on time and to a very high quality. Robbie who was in charge of the job was obviously real pro who has been doing this type of work for a long time. He had really good attention to detail and kept me updated all the time. I would highly recommended this company.
No customer service, untrustworthy... In one word AVOID
The "operatives" to use the companies terminology were great and honest. Which is more than can be said for the company. Think hard before you give this company business. The survey I instructed was to be more in depth than my pre buy surveyors report- it wasn't and was; now with hindsight; I can see, in fact, an inflated work of fiction. The company couldn't provide photos or evidence of lifting the carpet as they told me they did and when we completed on the property the floor was infact untouched. The carpet had not been lifted and the underlay etc was still stapled to the underlying floor. If the operatives hadn't have been so honest we would have ended up doing a lot more unnecessary works. The additional works (and there are always plenty with tapco) are inflated as they rely on you being committed once they've started the job and we don't appear to be alone in finding this. An independent surveyor from another company has stated and corroborated that unnecessary works were done and were definitely over quoted for bearing in mind the report/ quote was based upon not doing the survey properly. Tapco wanted my copy of their report which I refused as no doubt they would copy and paste it to sell to someone else. The prices are hugely above market rate too. E.g. £850 to replace skirting boards. Jason is uncontactable and doesn't return calls so don't be surprised when the job has difficulties etc that they are suddenly nowhere to be found. All Alex does is send invoices for inflated works. The staff are treated appallingly. They don't send surveyors during the works to survey what is being done, if it's being done correctly or sign off on works as we were promised. So in short they rely upon good staff working for them, abuse them in the process and don't deliver on anything that is said, won't answer queries or questions and hide behind emails for customers who have genuine queries and questions.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
I paid this company to damp proof my entire flat. It took six days and cost thousands of pounds including the work, vacating the flat, paying for a plumber to remove and put back radiators, repainting... The work was guaranteed for twenty years. Within four months the damp had come back. When I called and complained and asked them to fix the issue they said the damp had appeared since they carried out the work and they were not liable. Given the damp appeared during the hottest and driest time of the year, this is highly suspect. They said they had not noticed the 'new' damp at the time they carried out the original inspection and so were not liable. I'm really shocked and horrified that now I have to redo this wall and I'm back where I started with more bills. They should not have missed this. Now I am left with the damage.
An excellent and professional service
I was very impressed by the excellent and professional service I experienced all the way through with Tapco. The office staff were partially attentive and helped with everything I requested.
Kaylan & Alex were simply brilliant
Kaylan & Alex were simply brilliant. Very clear with communication, helpful & the work was very carefully and well completed. Would definitely recommend.
Timber treatment and Basement tanking
Did a timber treatment and lower ground damp proofing with Tapco.
Really satisfied with the job, surveyor made the correct suggestions and team leader Kaylan onsite kept me up to date on each step with pictures on progress.
Requested cement on the floor mid works, they promptly found additional people to carry the job within the original deadline.
Would definetely recommend.
Would definitely recommend Tapco
We used Tapco on the recommendation of our plasterer and it was great advice. Each aspect of the process was well managed and everyone was knowledgeable and quick to respond. The damp proofing of two walls was carried out by Jimmy who was friendly and polite and each stage was explained and carried out very professionally. Considering how dusty this process is the room was left in a really good state after he had finished. I would highly recommend Tapco.
These guys were involved in a road…
These guys were involved in a road accident with me nothing major I pulled out and one of there company cars scrapped the side of me, and now they are trying to sue for damages and losses outside of the insurance claim.
From 2017-2022
I first used Tapco in 2017. At that time they did an excellent job and the walls they treated are still dry. Now in 2022, I'm wondering how many changes of staff there have been? The girls in the office have definitely changed and it feels like they haven't been trained at all. They fail to answer emails some of the time and just do not know what to do about anything. When it came to writing an invoice, they had to do it three times because they kept charging me far too little!
The work has just been completed and I hope that it was done well. The workmen were nice enough and appeared to know what they were doing. They cleared up at the end, though there was a great deal of mess - I think they could have protected the floor and furniture a bit better.
There is a niggling thought that if the original surveyor from 2017 had done his job well, the second round of damp may never have occurred, in which case it should have been under guarantee, even though the surveyor's report itself doesn't carry the guarantee ironically.
They did deduct £160 from the bill for not using their own ladders! I don't know how they justify that amount just to put up a ladder but when it came to the point, they used mine instead. I only asked for the discount after the job when I knew what they had done but there was no argument and I'm happy about that.
So all in all, I would say make a new judgement every time you employ anyone to work on your property. The admin in advance was very worrying relative to the actual work being done.
Really pleased:
From our first phone conversation with TapCo, to arranging the surveyors visit and then the remedial work to sort out a minor rising damp issue, the service has been very professional.
We were apprehensive about the work starting but the technician was really considerate, respectful, skilful and carried out the work very efficiently.
The new plastering was blended in with the existing plasterwork really well.

I am so pleased with the damp course Tapco have just done for me. A very professional, punctual and hard working man called John Folan did an excellent job. He left everything so clean and tidy on completion of the work. He is a great member of your amazing team.
Would definitely recommend Tapco again.

Tapco game to fix a crack through our wall, which in turn had caused severe damp in our 18 months old room.
From the surveyor visit to the work being completed we felt that they were exemplary. Martin, Greg and the team were polite, tidy and completed work to the highest standard, all whilst working within the boundaries of us having to work from home and with a young child.
I couldn't recommend them highly enough and should we every have issues again, would gladly use Tapco.
