TappLock Lite is Great!

I think this (TappLock Lite) is one of the slickest gadgets I have ever seen. Not possible to lose or forget the key! How can you beat that? Plus the TappLock Lite is small and light, just perfect for bicyclists. It’s a great gadget.

I have now purchased 3 locks, fantastic devices, no keys no combinations brilliant!

Customer Service is also second to none, very prompt replies and extremely helpful. Couldn’t fault them absolutely fantastic 😊

I would not recommend Tapplocks...

I would not recommend buying this product.

I bought four of these less then six months ago and slowly but surely each one died and would not open or charge. No light, no nothing. I contacted support and they where responsive, however I have been waiting 2 months for the replacement locks and they have not shown up yet. It is very frustrating. The last four locks just died and I can not get into my project.

I bought this as a Christmas present…

I bought this as a Christmas present for my husband. He's had it less than two months, and it is not working. We charged it fully when he first got it and thought the battery must be dead, even though it says it holds a charge for a year. It does appear that it is not charged, but when we plug it into the magnetic charger, no light comes on/nothing happens. Very frustrating as he has it on a motorcycle shed and had to remove the entire handle.

Stopped working within a year

Stopped working within a year. Would not recognize fingerprints no matter how many times I deleted and re-registered the lock and fingerprints through the app. I contacted support while I was within the warranty and they proceeded to stretch it out by taking a while to respond, tell me to delete the the lock and set it up again and wait for their app update. During this e-mail reply back and forth my warranty conveniently expired and now I can't use the lock since only the Bluetooth & Morse unlocking features work and those take way too long.

An utter disappointment

I've had this lock for ONE month and it's already a paper weight. I travel a ton on tour with production companies so I need my valuables locked up. I can now no longer access any of my possessions. I press the button to wake up the lock and nothing. I try to connect via bluetooth and nothing, I try holding the button and nothing. Maybe dont release a product at such an astronomically high price for such an under developed product. Maybe just build a fail safe into the product with like a hotel card kind of thing.

Careful, it glitches.

Well, about 30 minutes ago I was standing with a towel wrapped around me fresh out of the shower at the gym and the lock recognized my fingerprint but...... did not open.

I waited, then waited some more, dried off my hands, wiped down the sensor pad. After about 20 mins, I had to call the gym staff to cut my lock off. Two staff members later I was back into my locker and on my way.

No Morse code option as my phone was in my locker......

Not too sure what happened there (as it worked properly before going to shower) in good conscience I cannot recommend this product any longer. I have had the lock for about 1 year and it was purchased as a gift. The staff were great and thankfully I wasn't charged for the issue.

Excellent lock for the gym

I have been using the Tapplock at the gym for a few months now and absolutely love them. In lieu of having to dial up a combination, or carry a key around, all I need to do is "wake up" the lock and use a fingerprint to get the lock to open. I did have some issues with using the fingerprint after being in the pool for an hour (I'm a distance swimmer) and use the morse code option to open the locks for those times it doesn't recognize my fingerprint due to the "water wrinkling" of my finger. Absolutely LOVE these locks.

I absolutely love my Tapplock

I absolutely love my Tapplock. It is awesome. From the quality to the ease of use. I could never go back to a conventional dial or key lock.
I have recommended Tapplock to all my friends and have been asked about it at the gym multiple times.

Customer Service was A+++++++++ and on point

I bought 2 locks and one of them work perfectly but I was having trouble with the other that wouldn't keep a charge. I contacted support and they were amazing in how quickly they addressed my issue and asked me specific questions. We went back and forth for a few emails but it was determined that it was not fixable and I was told that a replacement (actually an upgrade to the new product) would be sent out as soon as available. Special thank you to Kelly who was amazing throughout the process. I can't wait to receive my new lock. The lock that works is amazing and it is so convenient for me to not have to remember a combination or carry around a special key. I fully recommend this product.

Definitely worth the money

We have been using the locks for several months now to secure supplies in a manufacturing environment. The process has helped us reduce inventory loss and provide multiple users with access without having to have keys or remember combinations. I would recommend these locks to anyone for the same type of application. Worth the money spent. Definitely

Great technical support and customer service!

When I had a problem with one of my locks and needed help, Kelly was amazing. She walked me through several trouble shooting procedures. She always got back right away with answers to my questions. In the end, we resolved the issue to my complete satisfaction. I can't thank Kelly and Tapplock enough. They are an excellent company to deal with and have hired a stellar technician in Kelly. THANKS!

My son adores his TapLock

My son adores his TapLock. It’s sooooooooo much easier than having to remember yet ANOTHER password or code or carry around another darn key. Take the leap, make the purchase. This lock is worth every penny. I promise.

My Locs still works I cannot enter it…

My Locs still works I cannot enter it Bluetooth and the customer service is terrible. I'm not only bought one I purchased two forget trying to get any help I would never deal with a company that does not have a phone number that you can actually talk to people. They will take up to two to three days to get back to you with any answer and most of the time they can't help you I would never ever consider dealing with this company again and I will urge anyone that's considering purchasing this lock not to.

Company is hard to reach and does not respond to support requests.

Funny how this company does not have a phone number. My lock failed this Thanksgiving weekend for no reason at all. I have emailed Tapplock and created a support ticket. So far no response. I had this lock for 9 months, purchased via Touch of Modern. Not impressed and I suspect they won't respond here either. Lesson learned, don't buy from a company who is not willing to publish a support phone number. Email is a great way to hide behind slow service or no service in this case.

In there favor when the lock did work (I had to charge it like 3+ times so lasting a year is not the case) it worked fine. I live in Northern CA so very mild climate and no sun exposure. Never rained on once, so why it failed is beyond me, but it did.

The old saying

The old saying, There's a sucker born every day. I was one of those suckers. The lock died within a month. Couldn't charge the battery, couldn't remove from my gate. Ended up sawing through the lock to remove. I'll stick to the old keyed lock from now on.

The lock is awesome

The lock is awesome. It unlocks really fast. I mainly use it for gym locker. It feels good when seeing people still working on their passcode lock while I already get my bag and ready to leave.

also, it works perfectly under extreme weather, I am living in Toronto, and there are days below 0 degree already. I leave the lock in my car parking outside, and it still works perfectly even it is freeze.

one last good thing about the lock is, the battery life is really good, I only charged it once after I received it, which is already about 6 months.

Thanks again the team who built this awesome product to us.
