Concept is great, but the lock is just ok
One big problem is if the battery loses power, you may be in trouble. Even after charging the lock back up, it would not respond to my finger, app access or SOS code. I had to cut and ruin a very lock. By the way, I just used bolt cutters and it was very easy to break, which is a big concern.

Got this lock for my daughter locker…
Got this lock for my daughter locker for at school she loves not having to have a key or remember numbers to spin. She said it perfect just put my finger on it and it unlocks.

The lock works great and the sensor is almost perfectly consistent. My only complaints are that it is a little too bulky, and that when closing it, there no satisfying snap to clearly indicate that it has closed

The tapplock is SUPER convenient and I love it. I take it swimming everyday. I recently found out it works better if you also have the lock remember your wrinkly fingerprint as well. I highly recommend it to anyone else.
A great investment
A great investment. It is very durable and strong and works exactly as advertised. I use it on a daily basis while deployed and has caught the eye of many of my coworkers.
Freedom from keys,phones and combinations.
Item received fairly quickly. It was as described. And it does what it says it does. Aside from a couple of expected hiccups here and there I’m very happy with it. I don’t need keys, I don’t need a phone or any kind of numerical or directional combination to get back in to my locker just put my thumb on it and away we go. Just keep a piece of paper towel around after showering at the gym to dry up your finger tips or it won’t work. Which is the only hiccup really.
I love the lock
I love the lock! No more keys to loose or combinations to forget. The lock is very easy to setup with the app.
WARNING WARNING WARNING.
WARNING WARNING WARNING. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT BUY THESE LOCKS . Biggest scam out there I have bought four of these locks of which now 3 have them have failed they do not hold the charge as stated by tapplock, they stated hold charge up to a year what a load of absolute rubbish these people live in COOKOO land, the charge cable is useless as keeps disconnecting rubbish magnet connect that doesn’t work, they simply haven’t done enough research before bringing this product out, their customer support is the worst i’ve ever dealt with, total waste of money. And now when charging these locks one of them just stays permanently green like the rest of them and now doesn’t respond to anything that’s it another £100 gone down the drain TOTAL TOTAL WASTE OFF MONEY, had these locks only 2/3 years all that money they ask for and the product simply doesn’t live up to its name USELESS I will be making a video to post on Facebook & social media showing everybody the cons of this lock. WATCH THIS SPACE.

This is a wonderful product
This is a wonderful product! I have been using it since May 2018 and my whole family have gone out without carrying keys. The built quality is top notch and the fingerprint sensor is very responsive.
They just update the app with additional features which I might use in the future.

I find the lock to be very convenient and easy to use. I have not had to charge it yet and it makes having to remember passwords for typical locks a thing of the past. I'm very happy with the purchase and may consider buying more in the future as needs allow.
It's a Scam company
It's a Scam company. I made the order and paid for it. I paid for two locks $ 254 (with delivery) It was October 9. I got an automatic confirmation. After that, the company did not send the goods and did not report the delivery time. This company ignores all my letters. I didn't get any answers.
Upd.
After my threat to contact the police, the money was refund

Very convenient and works like a charm!
I keep my Tapplock in my gym bag and use it several times per week to secure my belongings in the fitness club locker room. I charged it once about 3 months ago and it's been working like a charm ever since. The Tapplock saves me time while getting ready to work out and when I'm ready to leave. It's much less of a hassle than fidgeting around and twisting a manual lock to try and enter a combination on a wheel. I love it!
I love my Tapplock
Easy to set up. Year long battery life. Hassle free security at the gym. I love it.

Tapplock was incredibly responsive and helpful to all my questions. Love the product too!
Wonderful..until it fails. And it will if it gets moisture.
In theory..and when it works ...an absolutely great product. BUT..when it fails... and I’ve had 3 (that’s three) of these $100.00 locks fail, it is a major major pain to have to deal with. These locks run with electrical current. Water is the enemy. Even under an alcove, even with their special silicon protectors they came out with because their locks were failing in moisture....they will fail. The disaster of lock failure greatly overwhelms the convenience the lock may provide. They are 0-3 with me. I’ll never buy another one. I will look for a similar, less expensive but more reliable product.
Loved it so much I bought one for my son too
Bought one for myself for my locker at work, which I need to open constantly. Loved it so much I bought a 2nd one for my son (we both work at the same establishment). He absolutely loves it. There are over 300 lockers and we are the only ones to have the Tapplocks. Everyone else is totally jealous at how fast we can open our lockers. I thought it was a bit pricey for a lock... but now I can say it`s Worth every dime. Absolutely love it; would buy another in a heartbeat if I needed another one.
Tapplock is a wonderful tool!
Tapplock is a wonderful tool!
I love both the ease and "redundancy" of this system! If your fingerprint doesn't work (it always does), then you can use your smart phone to unlock it remotely. If that doesn't work (never had it fail), then you ultimately may use the "morse code" feature to unlock the unit. It's a very techy and handsome unit too. The battery lasts forever (over six months and I'm still at 90% after 2x/day use). If I might take back a 1/4 star it would be the charging cable. It's a very unique and easy-to-use magnetic fastener for charging. But if you lose it--ouch! Why not use a mini USB or USB-C? Just a thought. For those who say it's not fool proof: Yes, it's not Fort Knox but it's not designed to be. You can find a difficult way to get around this lock, but you can also do that with a Masterlock, etc. In short, you ARE paying for a degree of convenience and, frankly, tech.
Not worth the money
In my opinion you are better off donating the $100 cost of this to charity. We loved it at first but after the first big rain storm it would not open. We tried drying it in a baggie of rice (taped to the lock which was on a gate) and then blowing air on it to potentially dry it out (assuming that was the issue). No luck. To get in and out of our backyard we finally gave it a few wacks with a hammer and broke it. First - having to do that was pretty disappointing. And second - it was amazingly easy to break. Not worth the money.
