Teacher Horizons help you through every step of finding the perfect teaching job. Right from the start they assign someone to meet with you over skpe (or similar platform) to discuss what your strengths are, what you are looking for etc. In my case this was Helen who has been so kind and helpful in helping me find my dream job. They then use this information to help recommend you to schools and suggest different jobs for you. All of this is done for free. It males it such an easy and stress free process. Thank you so much.

An excellent platform to help support International teachers to find their ideal job. On a personal not Joe who was my adviser helped me to find the right school for my needs and supported me throughout the who onboarding process.

Really incredible support from Day 1. Teacher Horizons took all the difficulty out of applying and got me into conversations with the right schools, even if they were already advanced in their recruitment processes. The end result is perfect, both my wife and I have positions in the same school. However our experiences were quite different. As a primary teacher, I had messages from several representatives at Teacher Network as each rep. deals with a different vacancy. This makes sense but was quite different to my wife who had one contact for her subject. So you need to get used to that.
We also felt like we were not dealt with as a couple. Either my application or hers seemed to be moving ahead quicker than the other. In the past we have been interviewed together or very closely in time together. For this school there was 2 weeks between her interview and mine, so she had a contract offer before I'd even had an interview. To be honest, this was not Teacher Horizons fault, but I still feel that it is important to be recognised as a couple. Hopefully they can improve on this.
On the plus side though, I felt like we skipped the queue, as Teacher Horizons had our references, they were able to show these to the potential employer and recommend us. This is definitely better than applying directly to the school with a CV and letter of application that lands on a pile of others and the school then has to send off for a reference and wait for it to be sent back. Our referees only had to complete the reference once for Teacher Horizons, so it saves them time too.
I would definitely recommend using Teacher Horizons.
