Great refurb and venue
Great refurb. Great place to go to now and lots to do. Defo worth a visit and so glad they reinvested in our city to give us a decent venue again.

Slow Service
Went for a few hours to do some bowling and play in the arcades. We were told that if we wanted anything to eat/drink while bowling, to use the QR code on the lanes. Somehow took 25 minutes from ordering my J2O to arrive at a lane directly opposite the bar, while watching the staff chatting. My partner ordered a drink 20 minutes after I did, and they both then arrived together 5 minutes later.

Clean environment and helpful staff
Clean environment and helpful staff. However, there were several teenagers inside hanging around with a couple of them riding their bikes inside doing wheelies. My family and I found it antisocial and dangerous as we has small kids with us. The staff could not see what was going on and therefore did not intervene.

A young boy accused me of not paying…
A young boy accused me of not paying for a drink meanwhile I had my receipt online on my phone and he completely was ignoring me after I told him I was waiting for 30 mins for a slush puppy and it got to the point where we had to leave and I still didn’t have my drink but the boy didn’t bother to even tell me that my drink wasn’t on the system, he continued to service people while staring at me giving me dirty looks. Thankfully a lovely lady actually looked into it and saw I had paid and actually checked for me instead of looking down on me.

Family time.
All great. Grandchildren loved all the machines and soft play. They collected do many tokens which they then exchanged for their little prize. Even the parent and grandparents had a good time. Food waste also ok, only thing I would say is there is are not enough tables to eat at as some people just leave a couple of drinks on table. (this happened when we were there.) over 2hrs and not one person sat at the table, just left coats and drinks on table. That was the only thing that spoilt our visit.

Online food ordering is a back crap
The refurbishment is amazing!
The online ordering seems to be a bit glitchy and rubbish. Sometimes ordering drinks and they take ages to come or don't go through. My mate ordered the chicken wings and fries combo and didn't get fries, when he went to ask them they said it only came through as chicken wings but he paid for the combo, they said they would send over some fries, they never did so I ended up ordering more. This happened last time we came here when I ordered a burger and curly fries and when I got regular fries and questioned it they said "sorry it only came through as regular fries" even though I paid extra for curly fries

My boy absolutely loved his bowling party here in Exeter . The balloon modelling is a little bonus too .

The staff were really helpful, just need other food options
The staff were really helpful. I paid for a 2hr birthday party, which I think was meant to be 2 games, but the got through the games in 1hr so the staff added extra games on. Kids had a great time doing the laser tag as well.
Only downside was the food. It was a group of 12 year old and I felt the portions were a bit small and the adult portion of chips looked about the same as theirs. Was also disappointed that ice cream is the only dessert option as had one child that had a dairy allergy and there was no alternative so got them a slushie so they wouldn't fell left out so having some alternatives would be great.
