Booked for 5.30 did not get in til 6pm sat round waiting to go into laser tag for video to be 10 mins long and only get 15 mins actually playing kids were disappointed

Enjoyable experience
Clean, bright, no queues, friendly staff, plenty of choice for things to do for a fun night out...only downside was bowling balls need to go up to XL fingerholes as my friend struggled to get his fingers in large holes, we asked staff but they confirmed large was biggest they have available.

Visited today for the first time in Wakefield tenpin.. what an awesome place ,clean and tidy, arcade games a quid , bowling was brilliant, toilets clean , will definitely be visiting again .Just what Wakefield needed.

Poor bowling experience due to pins being tethered on strings
I tried to book 3 games of bowling for a party of 6 adults for my son's Birthday through the website, but it would not process my payment. I had to telephone to complete the transaction.
Onsite, we placed a drinks order. All but one drink was brought to the lane & we had to go to the reception desk to reorder the missing drink.
Having previously bowled many times at alleys with loose pins, there is a definite difference in the experience when the pins are on strings. Pins which had fallen were sometimes not scored whilst pins which had not fallen were sometimes scored. Also, the stringed pins did not always move in the same way as loose pins do, making it more a game of luck than skill.
The staff we communicated with both onsite & through the booking process were polite & friendly, but I would not use this bowling alley again due to the poor playing experience.
