Terry’s Car Hire in Mallorca is British-owned and offers competitively priced rental cars without needing a credit card for an excess insurance deposit. The process of renting a car is all done online therefore when arriving at Palma airport, you walk straight to your vehicle without any queuing, documentation or signatures. It is a friendly, hassle-free and stress-free experience, unlike airport-based car rental companies such as Goldcar and RecordGo, which are the worst and will con or scam you at every opportunity.

My family and I have been using Terry’s Car Hire for many years, everything about them is 5-star and when visiting Mallorca, it is not worth looking anywhere else if you wish to rent a car.

I rented a car for 9 days.

Request a quotation from Terrys and they reply very quickly. Included is no excess insurance, excluding wheels/tyres/keys/misfuel, (so no card block for deposit) and two additional drivers, fuel is same/same. You provide all your details and they take card payment in the weeks before your hire. Full instructions are provided about picking up and dropping off. On arrival at PMI you receive a text telling you the exact location to pick up the car in the multi-storey car park. The key will be in a previously disclosed location. No waiting at an airport desk, you go straight to the car. You just have to take the parking ticket to one of the paystations and pay the few euros parking fee to exit. If you arrive really late, then you may have a larger amount to pay.
We have hired several times now, sometimes for extended periods. All cars have been good quality cars. If there are any dents or scratches Terrys will know about them, remember there is no excess. The only time we have had an excess of €500 is when the hire has been for more than 28 days, though no card blocking takes place. We have a separate annual excess insurance anyway which covers exclusions. There is a discount for returning customers, unless over 21 days.
When you return the car, you just phone up and let them know where you parked up.
We used to hire from another well known local (Van…..) company who used to have a simple, no hassle, hire process. They had good prices, but now have got greedy. So we are very happy to continue hiring from Terrys Car Hire.

Team Terrys are quite simply fantastic. I hired a car for a family of 4 and 3 large suitcases. The car was a Skoda Scala which came with AirCon, CarPlay (Android & Apple), Cruise Control and lane assist to mention but a few things. The car was clean and easy to drive. The instructions for collection and drop off were clear and straightforward. Incredibly affordable and a great service for Majorca car hire. I will be using again. Thank you Team Terry !!!

I have to agree with all the other reviews here. We visited Mallorca over Christmas and New Year. Everything went smoothly, the car was in tip-top condition and even when someone tried to break into it, the staff at Terry’s were understanding and we were charged nothing for the attempted break-in.
I would strongly recommend them if you are visiting the island and will use them again without hesitation when we return.
Just the best car hire experience I’ve ever had!

I hired with some trepidation for the first time from Terry’s car hire from 28th October to the 7th November 2024….
We travel to Mallorca 3/4 times a year for holidays and have for the last 25 years or so, and we have always collect a hire car from the airport for the duration of our stay.

All I can say is what a great experience, the service from the office ( Kelly & Paul ) was, both from our initial emails, subsequent telephone calls and emails and the texts on arrival.

These were exactly as advised and the car provided was where we were told it would be. The car was in great condition, clean and tidy, what more could you ask for.

Based on this first hire I will be back in touch with Terry’s hire in 2025, my wife has already notified them of a couple of dates… and they are going to let me know when the prices are available.

This was the best car hire we've ever had. It was so simple and there were no queues. The car was spotless and in the right place and when we wanted to extend by a day, no problem.

I have been using Terrys for several years due to the great set up they have with collecting the car from the airport car park. This saves time and runs very smoothly with them sending a message on your arrival informing you exactly where the car is to be located. The cars are always clean and tidy. The price they quote is what you pay without the hidden extras which other hire firms try to charge on collection. 10/10.

The easiest, most reliable car hire in Mallorca. Wouldn't use anybody else!

No queuing, just straight out of the airport and your vehicle is ready and waiting for you in the multi storey. Easy to follow instructions are always provided, and the helpful staff in the office are only a telephone call away if you need them.

Pretty simple and straightforward service, no waiting queue or paperwork, no hidden fees or other costs, make your life easy in all aspects. Really enjoyed using this company. 5 🌟 Arrived at mallorca close to midnight, get in the car and shoot to the hotel, return the car easy and simple, just park at the airport and off we go. Brilliant people, amazing new and good car, every company should follow their example, people are there to relax not to waste precious time.

We’ve used Terry’s for the last three years and always had a great, trouble free experience. No hidden fees (we do purchase additional hire car insurance as well just in case but usually less than £20), pick up and drop off at the airport is a doddle and we’ve always been lucky with the spec of car we’ve received. Would definitely recommend over any of the more commercial hire car companies that try and fleece you at the airport.
