Perfectly Good Bank

Just applied for and was accepted for a credit card. Thus far all seems good. I like the simplicity of the website. Dislike, same as with most banks when applying for a card, often the actual card can take weeks to turn up but hoping that wont apply on this occasion. Pleased to have been given a decent line of credit and a nice long interest free period for purchases without asking. Fingers crossed.

Good Support - Problem Solved

Wanted to know how long my interest free period was for my Credit Card. This information is not readily available in my account or on my statements. The statemant should really display the end date of my initial interest free period

Applied for a card got accepted and…

Applied for a card got accepted and didn’t hear back till after a month , since then I found a better card . Whats the point? Waste of time .. and an extra hard search on my file for no reason (and for some reason they did 2! The cheek). Will look to make a complaint with some sort offinancial ombudsman… PS I don’t know why Trustpilot is taking down this review

Disgusted with Tesco attitude

Unfortunately it’s not possible to give no stars, so I’ve had to give them one more than they deserve. One of their customers has fraudulently given Tesco Bank my 86 year old mother-in-laws address to try to avoid paying his debts. He’s done this to a few financial institutions, all of which have removed her address without quibbles and apologised. Tesco Bank say they cannot do this as they will be in breach of Data Protection laws. My MIL is “old school” and is worried sick that the debt will go against her property. Tesco Bank don’t care about the distress they are causing are causing to someone who has led a blameless life and just wants to live out her last few years in peace. Absolutely disgusted with Tesco’s attitude.
Just to update, they passed MIL’s address on to a debt collection agency in conjunction with this. I phoned them and they removed the address without quibbles. If the agency can do this, you would think Tesco could follow suit. Frankly I don’t think they can be bothered.

Declined card

Card was declined as original price quoted was doubled when it came to payment.Fraud contacted us and said it was a scam and dealt with it in a very appropriate and professional manner.We would like to say a very big thank you

Where is my Money Tesco Bank?

I applied for an ISA Transfer to Tesco Bank on 20.05.2026. Although the transfer took place on 04.06.2026 no funds are shown into my Tesco Bank account. I called Tesco to check what is happening with my money. I have been told that " at this time of year they are very busy and the funds are processed manually so it will take about 10 working days for me to see the funds into my account"
Disappointing and frustrating.
I do strongly believe that Tesco Bank is playing Dirty old tricks with customers money.
I deeply regret applying for a saving account at Tesco Bank. I found very difficult to find their complaint dept. that is well hidden into their website, you need a good 10 mins. to find it.

I will never approach Tesco Bank again
