The recent update is awful. I can no longer crop and every time I try to reposition the photo on the page, it's the pag/screen that scrolls up and down. It is very very frustrating and I won't be using again after this book unless they get it sorted.

Went through the process of setting up a photo block. Asked to sign in or register, so set an account up and my basket was emptied.
Started again, set up the photos and went through the order process... 2 factor authentication so approved it in the bank app.. Web page loses account details and you have to go through the order process again. Did this, back to 2factor auth again.. Again lost order details! Terrible experience and gave up after an hour!

I've made at least 14 photobooks on Tesco photo and creating them has always been simple and easy. I've gone on today to update my most recent one and they have done the most horrendous update. It is now so much more difficult to edit photos and pages and isn't intuitive at all. Sadly this will be my last book with Tesco/Max Spielman. Previous to this updated version I would have given a 5* review.

I purchased photo credits back in 2014 at which time my receipt stated that the credits “do not expire”. On my profile, they showed an expiration date of 11/04/2038 but in 2022, a staff member changed it in error. He was apologetic but said that the system wouldn’t let him change it back. He advised that your team can refresh the expiration date of unused credits if needed.
I didn’t get round to using my credits this year, so I contacted your customer service to request for the expiration date to be refreshed again but my request was refused.
This is unfair and unacceptable. Tesco can see from my profile credit history that what I stated was correct. I also provided Tesco with proof supporting that I am in this position because of Tesco’s initial mistake. My original expiration date was 2038 until a Tesco customer support agent changed it in error.
Update: Tesco have now reluctantly refreshed my photo credits as “a gesture of goodwill” and warned me that their policies have changed since 2014 so the credits will expire in one year. Reinstating the credits is not a “goodwill gesture” when you are rectifying a problem that you caused. My credits should not expire under the terms in which I purchased them. It’s absolutely unacceptable and very poor conduct for a professional customer service team of a big organisation.

I am giving them only 2 stars. First I had to call around to find out when I was gonna get my delivery 6 days after. Apparently, I was not at home. Well, if I knew when the delivery would come that would have helped. No information or updates given. Then when I do get the delivery, the photo frame has started to strip already. I thought it was a quality frame I was paying for. You can see it is a very cheap frame and the hooks on the back are just not worth it. I am having a hard time getting it to fit on the one on the wall. I was not impressed . The photo looks good and the staff was helpful in trying to help me get the item redelivered. Other than that, I will not use this service again and I would not recommend it either.

I ordered a photo album from Tesco photo for which I have been charged but I still haven't received the photo album and the status of my order is still processing on my online account. I have tried contacting the customer service via the website twice to receive an automated response and no actual reply to explain what is happening with my order. Terrible service and I've been charged for something I've never received. I would never use this website again!

Placed a frame order which never showed up, contacted customer service through email multiple times as well as on the website and never heard anything back. Was charged over £70 for my order and received a confirmation email but never anything else.

Rushed and terrible passport photo, wish I'd just found a booth and done in myself. £12.99 and terrible photo.
Really worried it wont go thro and be sent back. Have record but would be a waste of time.
To busy putting up the Xmas photo booth.

Poor quality print. Frame arrived with broken glass. Inadequate customer service.

Spent over 4 hours trying to upload just over 500 photos (which I had Tesco credits for). Had to upload in multiple batches of 75, but still crashed/errored 10 times. When I tried to edit to remove some surplus photos it crashed again, edit function not working. Still not been able to order, massively frustrating and time waster.

Waste of time, ordered prints online for pickup in store, kiosk was broken for several days and when I finally got to use it, the order printed half the photos then errored and instructed me to email for assistance.
Don't bother, may be cheap but you'll end up needing to pay twice anyway.
Also, they're not Tesco photo, they're Max photo kiosks that happen to be in a Tesco store, the staff have no ability to help, which kind of defeats the point of buying from a brand.
*Edit*: Canned responses are worse than no response, especially ones with a typo!

Waste of money. The booths lighting is crap the photos were way too dark. The booth tells you the photos are acceptable but once you paid your money there is no option for a refund. AVOID!
Had to pay for another one £12.99 elsewhere locally. Passport applied for and on its way.

Don't try their booth.

Placed a simple order for 12 prints.
Received one of them on time. Then had to chase to get the others sent. But as it took over a week to get to me past the original date they were too late so unusable.

Printed the photo pixelated despite me being able to print it on normal paper perfectly clear. Definitely not worth £8.50.

I ordered a large photobook which came with the cover title badly printed so some of it was on the inside. I contacted customer services who admitted that the picture had not been properly uploaded by them. Their response was to offer a credit towards re doing the book, as this had cost £49 it was not an offer I wanted to accept and asked if I could have a credit towards a new book which was agreed. Looking on my account there is nothing credited. Have had many books in the past but after this service will not use them again. My photobook in 2003 was £19 so the price increase is steep especially when there is no redress for their mistake.

The Tesco Clevedon machine was offine but still charged £10 for passport photo and code but gave no code, when I phoned he suggested I go to another booth and pay again. Just so people know, you do not need a code for most passport applications as you can do it with your phone so don't waste your money unless you really need to.

I purchased the print credits but the website will not accept. Defaults to the expensive 20minute service. Have uploaded 3 times, spent 4 hours trying but without any luck. I don't think a website can have been designed this badly without an ulterior motive. That motive to prevent customers purchasing at the price Tesco advertised. Buyer beware. You don't get what Tesco offer
