Overall what they offer is not bad, however when it comes to returning the money there might be significant delays. In my particular case I had to chase the support team every 3 days. At the end I got... See more

I am deeply disappointed with Blueground's lack of accountability regarding my security deposit refund. I checked out of my apartment on September 27, 2026. According to their own team, the refund should have been processed within 14 to 21 business days.
It has now been over a month, well past their maximum deadline, and I still have not received my $500. I have reached out via email multiple times, only to receive generic responses stating they are "checking with the accounting team," but no concrete solution or payment receipt has been provided.

Extremely great satisfaction! Great layout and location. Very clean and modern. Kitchen equipped very well. Bedding very comfy, towels very soft. Feel like home.

I am flat owner in Paris, renting my flat to Blueground. Whilst they have tenants paying their rent in my flat, they have stopped paying me since last July.
It is sheer robbery!!!!
No one from the Paris team is handling the case/ or answering the phone. I am not the only flat owner in this situation. Blueground is facing several lawsuits.
Flat owners wherever you are, be aware of the situation. It could happen that a company is facing some economic difficulty, yet as an entrepreneur you take your responsibility and don't delegate them to an asnwering machine or AI agent when your action is putting honest people in financial difficulty. Such a disgrace!!!

I would not trust Blueground. Under our signed contracts, they owe me close to US$500,000 in rent, furniture repayment and returns, and refuse to pay. Many other owners report unpaid rent, and many tenants report deposits never returned. stay away

Worst service, the team doesn’t communicate
Apartments are not clean AT ALL, faced cockroaches and still no response from the team
Moldy old apartments.
Would never recommend it to anyone and will never go back to it.

Blueground has not been paying my rent since June 2026. They are not replying to my emails, calls or lawyers letter. We are now having a court case to evict the tenant immediately!

Think they maybe going out of business. Do not sign an agreement with them. I sent a large payment for an apartment in London and they did not pay the landlord for the 12 months. Not cool.

We rented a condo last year in Paris which was vacated in July of this year. As of today, three months later, we are yet to receive our deposit (over $14k) and today, we were informed that it may be until mid-December when they do so. Communication with them is useless. Zero professionalism and attention to customer service. I highly suggest that anyone considering to using them, reconsider your decision.

I am a London landlord facing unpaid rent, unresolved contractual obligations and an attempted unilateral termination of my lease by Blueground. Lease agreements are legally binding and cannot simply be terminated at a company's convenience without a contractual or legal basis.
What is particularly shocking is that my flat remains occupied by a tenant, yet Blueground is not paying me the rent owed and continues to market to landlords and tenants for future months. Despite repeated attempts to resolve these issues, rent remains outstanding, and nobody at Blueground is responding to my communications anymore.
I am aware of other landlords facing similar difficulties. It is deeply disappointing that landlords must resort to legal action to enforce basic contractual obligations. I am now considering formal recovery proceedings, including a potential winding-up petition.
If you are a Blueground landlord in London or elsewhere in the UK facing rental arrears, property damage or unilateral lease termination, please contact me privately. We are exploring coordinated legal action.
Landlords deserve accountability, contractual integrity and payment of what they are owed.

Although I vacated the apartment a month in advance (Oct 1st) of my move-out date (Oct 31st), I paid the full rent for the month of October. I requested the return of my security deposit, but I was told it wouldn't be refunded until December; this is unacceptable and contradicts the policy, which states that refunds must be issued within 21 days.

I rented an apartment in London from Blueground for 3 months to 24/09/26 (LON-9178) with a deposit of £2,798 which they said would be returned within 14-21 business days of checkout, which would have been 23 October.
By 26 October I had not received the deposit so contacted Blueground to be told "due to the ongoing wind-down of Blueground operations in the market, we will have to delay your refund for LON-9178. Our team will come back to you by December 15th with the confirmed amount and next steps."
In previous communication with Blueground they had also agreed to make a compensation payment of £400 for issues we had with aircon and the dishwasher. This money has also not been received.
@Blueground, why are you withholding my deposit in breach of our contract? I returned the flat in good condition and you have my bank details. Please return my money immediately.
Thoughout the process their customer service people have been responsive and helpful but it is totally unacceptable that they have failed to return my security deposit at a minimum. Surely this is illegal?

My experience with Blueground in Los Angeles was one of the most disappointing accommodation experiences I have ever had. I stayed at AVA Hollywood from August 31 to September 30, 2026, and paid more than $3,600 for what was supposed to be a comfortable, professionally managed apartment.
Four hours unable to enter my apartment
The problems began immediately upon arrival. Despite having a confirmed and paid reservation, I could not properly access the building and my apartment because Blueground had failed to arrange clear, functioning access instructions. I spent approximately FOUR HOURS trying to get inside. I eventually managed to enter only after struggling to find assistance. This was an unacceptable start to a month-long stay.
Central air conditioning unavailable for approximately 16 days
On September 3, the central air conditioning stopped working. It was not repaired until September 19 — approximately 16 days later. Imagine paying thousands of dollars for furnished accommodation in Los Angeles and spending more than half the month without properly functioning central air conditioning.
The temporary portable AC provided was not an adequate replacement. It failed to cool the apartment properly and even leaked water onto the floor.
Worse still, around September 27–28, the central air conditioning broke down AGAIN, just days before my departure. I experienced further discomfort and disrupted sleep.
Parking problems and unfulfilled promises
I paid for parking, but Blueground assigned me a space in a different building from my apartment, making daily access unnecessarily inconvenient. A staff member was supposed to meet me in person to help resolve the issues, but nobody showed up. Later, Blueground promised me a replacement parking space and then withdrew that arrangement shortly afterward.
I spent an unreasonable amount of my time contacting customer support, following up on unresolved problems, and requesting basic services that should have been available from the beginning.
Disappointing complaint handling
Blueground acknowledged several service failures but ultimately refused my request for a substantial refund of the accommodation charges. The compensation offered did not come close to reflecting the disruption, discomfort, wasted time, and repeated failures throughout my stay.
This was not one isolated inconvenience. It was a series of serious problems over an entire month: delayed access, prolonged AC failure, a second AC breakdown, parking difficulties, missed appointments, and ineffective customer support.
I paid for a professionally managed furnished apartment, but the service I received fell far below reasonable expectations.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Blueground. I would strongly advise anyone considering a long-term stay to think carefully before booking.

Blueground is probably the worst company there is, I will call them a company who scams people. With good pictures, website design, the quality of their flats is extremely poor, things breaking falling apart. I had an oven that emitted fumes that burnsg my eyes as the fumes took over the entire flat, upon complaint they sent someone who said it’s alright. The mattresses were so bad I wouldnt wish them upon someone, no solutions for a million complaints I had but in the end couldn’t even cover in my emails to them since there were so many. They didnt give me keys on the day of my checkin and I had to book a hotel, unsurprisingly they did not refund me for that day.
They are money hungry and treat people like cattle. Do not book with them is my kind advice.
I have rented with blueground twice. The first time no major issues. The second time they had asked me to vacate the apartment prematurely - apparently because their agreement with the landlord ended. However, the main issue is that they have for months not repaid the security deposit nor refunded rent payment for the period unused despite acknowledging that they owe me the money. They have since offered to repay the money over a 2 year period only and only if I agree to waive further claims and sign an NDA. Blueground told me they were exiting local market however I do not see how that excuses not performing on basic obligations. Would suggest to avoid them.

I was super skeptic with many negative reviews, but this has been an exceptional experience.
Some highlights:
- clear move-in instructions including a video
- apartment was really clean
- tasteful interiors with nice lamps, books, a sofa-bed for occasional guest and also a marshall speaker (that wasn't expected)
- they also provided all essentials to start living - laundry and dish was detergent, mop refills, vacuum, garbage bags and more. This was so thoughtful
Really felt like home from Day-1.
P.S. would be nice to have charges for bits like parking and cleaning etc mentioned upfront for higher transparency
