The platform is great. I like that it's catered towards longer stays than things like Airbnb or vrbo, and that I don't have to deal with the whims of a host. The apartment quality is very hit-or-miss... See more

Nothing at all bad to say. Communication was excellent

Blueground's service during and after the rental period was top-notch. Their approach and problem-solving skills were exceptional. Thank you very much.

My stay with blueground was not what I expected. The kitchen utensils were old and peelers were blunt. Other things you typically need were broken or missing. I had to buy what I needed. The vacuum cleaner was broken requiring me to get mine out of storage. Furniture was stained and the duvet had what looked like a blood stain. The apartment was premium priced although situated right in front of the elevators and next door to two college students who were often yelling in the hallway at 4:00AM along with their guests. the worst part is that after I moved out early because I moved to Europe, I informed them I had moved out, locked the door and left the key on the table as instructed. Not only did they enter they apartment before my lease was ended but THEY TRIED TO CHARGE ME FOR DAMAGE that I did not cause including the vacuum cleaner, stained furniture, duvet cover etc.. The customer service people were terrible and they tried to withhold my security deposit! If you rent from Blueground, document EVERYTHING on Day 1. They will try to have you fund new furniture, appliances etc. NEVER AGAIN will I stay with them.

My experience with Blueground as a landlord was acceptable until they unexpectedly announced the termination of my lease. Since then, communication has been scarce, vague, and unsettling. They left behind unpaid rent, and the cleanliness of the property was clearly subpar. Their behavior over the past few months has been so appalling that I cannot speak well of them. And I'm truly sorry for that.
things were simple when i arrived
the appartment was exactly as on the pictures
everything was clean
it was easy to leave also

I strongly do not recommend Blueground.
I signed a 12-month contract with Blueground and paid their fees based on the understanding that my tenancy was secured for the agreed term. However, after only six months, and just as the summer season began and rental prices increased significantly, Blueground suddenly informed me that its agreement with the property owner had allegedly been terminated.
Despite repeated requests, they have failed to provide any documentation supporting this claim.
Even more concerning, they continue referring to a landlord while refusing to provide the landlord’s identity, contact details, or any documentation explaining why I should deal with a third party when my contract was signed with Blueground.
To this day, I have not been provided with any evidence supporting their position, any explanation of the legal basis for these actions, or any clear information about who is supposedly responsible for the property.
To me, this lack of transparency suggests that something is seriously wrong. If everything is legitimate, there should be no difficulty providing basic documents, clear answers, and the identity of the party they claim now controls the property.
What makes this situation even more unacceptable is that Blueground has offered no compensation whatsoever for the disruption and uncertainty caused. They have also refused to refund any portion of the fees they charged in connection with what was sold to me as a 12-month arrangement.
For weeks, I have been asking simple questions:
* Why is my contract being terminated?
* Where is the supporting documentation?
* Who is this landlord?
* What is the legal basis for these claims?
* How can I continue paying rent?
None of these questions have been properly answered.
Instead, I have been passed between departments and repeatedly told that the matter is now with the landlord, while no evidence has been provided to support that position.
As a customer, I find this completely unacceptable. A company that takes fees for a 12-month agreement should be able to explain, document, and justify why it is attempting to walk away from that agreement after only six months.
I intend to pursue formal complaints and all available legal avenues. In my opinion, companies should not be allowed to make major contractual changes, refuse to provide supporting documentation, withhold basic information, and then expect customers to simply accept the situation.
I also believe that many people do not pursue these matters because legal and administrative processes are time-consuming, stressful, and complicated. Unfortunately, this may encourage some companies to assume that customers will eventually give up. I have no intention of doing so.
Based on my experience, I would strongly advise anyone considering Blueground to be extremely cautious before signing a contract.

"It is deeply disappointing to see @Blueground and its leadership, including CEO Alexandros Chatzieleftheriou, completely evading financial responsibilities in Istanbul. After failing to pay 2 months of rent on my property, ignoring all emails, and shutting down the local office, the CEO chose to block me on LinkedIn rather than addressing the debt.Current tenants are moving out today with zero communication or key handover protocols. Is this how a venture-backed global company manages its local landlords? @Blueground, please honor your contracts, pay the outstanding rent, and reply to my emails immediately. #Blueground #RealEstate #PropTech #CorporateGovernance"
Accurate to the website. Love the place that I stayed at. No noise at all

I have felt completely at home with Blueground for over a year now, and my experience has been flawless. The apartments are fantastic: well-furnished, high-quality, and a great balance of flexibility and fair pricing. What really stands out is the customer support, who are incredibly competent, fast, and friendly. Truly zero issues throughout my entire stay. Thank you for making Berlin feel like home!

I deeply regret renting out my home in Istanbul through Blueground. The company has failed to pay the monthly rent on time, and for the past two months, no rent payments have been made at all. They do not respond to my phone calls or emails.
I have also contacted the company’s headquarters regarding this issue, but I have not received any response.
If you are considering renting out your home through this company, I strongly advise you to think twice.
This company is really proactive, very responsive staff and amazing products

Took 2 hours to register as a home-owner to list my property, answered many questions. Still no listing. Contacted customer service, you need 5 listings minimum to be a client. Can't you tell me this before I loose 2 hours to setup the account?!

There was no water at home, so I had to wash up at the subway station, and I didn't get any compensation for it.

I am an unit owner in Istanbul, Türkiye. My unit's code is IST-1360. Blueground confirmed that after 31 May 2026, they would no longer manage or operate our unit. In that same email, a revised payment schedule was provided, delaying (2 months) the rental payments originally due under our contract:
April 2026 rental payment – scheduled for 20 May 2026
May 2026 rental payment – scheduled for 20 June 2026
After this email, we were unable to reach anyone at Blueground. They have completely stopped responding while still owing me two months’ rent, as well as an additional two months’ deposit collected from the tenant.
As a result, I will be taking this matter to court.
Please be careful when dealing with this company. They may appear professional at first, but my experience has been extremely disappointing and unprofessional.
The reservation concerns an apartment in Zurich at CHF 3000 per month for a period of one year.
Major disappointment. When we arrived, the apartment was filthy: M&M's and food remnants on the floor, dust everywhere, crumbs all over the kitchen, mold on the walls, and a toilet brush in a disgusting state. Clearly, no cleaning had been done between tenants.
The worst part is Blueground's response: they sent a cleaning lady equipped with… a cloth. She stayed 30 minutes wiping tables that were already clean, without addressing the actual problems. Zero effort to make things right.
As for the mold, we had to push for a long time and literally debate with them because they tried to blame it on us(although I told them I was asthmatic and that it was suffocating me at night and that it was unbearable) . We had to provide evidence before they finally agreed to send someone to deal with it. To their credit, it was eventually fixed — but it should never have been that much of a fight.
As for the shared facilities, one of the two washing machines in the laundry room has been broken for months. My neighbors have been contacting them regularly — nothing gets done. And the cherry on top: we've now been without hot water for 4 days.
I'm giving 2 stars because, to be fair, the customer service team can be helpful for smaller requests. They're understanding if rent is a day or two late, and they made a nice gesture when my laundry card was lost. But when it comes to the big stuff — cleanliness, maintenance, basic comfort — it falls way short.
