A group of us rented a place in Saugatuck- this was by far the worst place we ever stayed in. It was filthy - the toilets barely flushed, there was a rodent in the patio - we called for support and got none.Stay clear of any of their places - they are terrible.

Previously, I struggled a lot with housing during my studies, but when I discovered Blueground, everything became so much easier. I booked an apartment with them for six months, and it turned out to be one of the best periods of my life. Their team was amazing, supportive, and very cooperative. The apartment itself was wonderful and had everything I needed, from kitchen equipment to furniture, a TV, and many other essentials. The internet was also very fast, which made my stay even more comfortable.
The apartment’s location was also excellent, right at the intersection of N Michigan Ave and E Lake St, which made getting around the city very convenient.

I have been collaborating for years with The Blueground regarding my property in Istanbul, registered in the company records under code ID 117. In January 2026, at their own request, we extended the lease and service agreement for another year. However, only approximately two months after this extension, I was informed that the company would be withdrawing from the Turkish market and that they would cease managing the apartment following the tenant’s lease expiration at the end of April. This situation was first learned during the delayed February rent payment through “insider information” from company employees, while the official notification was only circulated in April.
Despite the payment terms being clearly stipulated in our agreement, The Blueground has failed to make the April and May rent payments and has also failed to pay the apartment maintenance fees. In the official circular sent by the company, it was unilaterally and imperatively stated that the April rent would be paid in May and the May rent in June; however, as this arrangement is clearly contrary to both our signed agreement and applicable law, it was not accepted by me. Nevertheless, despite the May payment date also having passed, the company has still failed to pay either the April or May rent, as well as the related two months of maintenance fees.
Although the tenant vacated the apartment at the end of April, The Blueground has still not completed the key handover, and the property has not been physically returned to me. As a result, I am prevented from showing the property to prospective tenants and re-renting it, causing me direct rental income loss. The company’s conduct is therefore not limited merely to non-payment of rent and maintenance fees, but has also taken on the nature of effectively sabotaging my ability to re-rent the property.
Despite my repeated attempts to contact The Blueground via telephone, messages, and email, I have been unable to reach any authorized representative from the Turkey operation. Other than brief and dismissive emails from global customer service, received only after days, stating merely that “the Istanbul office will contact you,” I have received no serious response containing any concrete solution or commitment. This situation constitutes a grave example of irresponsibility inconsistent with the minimum level of care and accountability expected from a corporate company and raises suspicions of bad faith.
I hereby demand that The Blueground comply with the lease and service agreement it has signed, as well as with the applicable legislation, by immediately and fully paying the accumulated April and May rent amounts totaling TRY 189,000 (USD 4.200) and the accumulated apartment maintenance fees totaling TRY 10,676 (USD 240). Furthermore, I demand the immediate delivery of the property keys and the physical return of the property to my full use and possession. Due to the damages and hardship caused, I expressly reserve all rights to seek compensation for all incurred and future rental income losses and any other damages, and I clearly and unequivocally notify them that this matter will be pursued by me through all available legal means, including legal proceedings.

I liked full furnished apartment, but lease fee increase around $1000 which is not acceptable in terms of increase rate.

Even though the entire booking and consultation process had to be handled through email while I was in another country, everything was completed incredibly smoothly and quickly. I was genuinely impressed by how efficient and well-organized the whole process was.
After the contract was finalized, the Blueground app was extremely well-designed and easy to use. From check-in and key pickup to entering the apartment, every step was simple and seamless. I also loved the thoughtful welcome package — the items included were very practical and showed great attention to detail.
The apartment itself was fully equipped with everything I needed during my stay, and the overall convenience and comfort exceeded my expectations.
Also, The location was absolutely perfect for my needs. It was also very close to Shinjuku Station, and I loved that I could do everything I needed within the surrounding area.
The location itself was one of the biggest advantages and truly made the entire experience even better.
2. What is this company doing well?
First of all, I really appreciated the professionalism of Mr. Tyler Cote and the Customer Experience Team. Even though communication was only possible through email, they always responded quickly, accurately, and professionally.

The BLUEGROUND team has been really supportive since I moved into one of their short term serviced apartment.
I was in trouble with some interior furniture which needed to be fixed quickly to prevent harmful failure. I was listened carefully by the assistant over the phone who immediately arranged for a technician to come and fix the problem within 2 hrs. Also the handyman was very careful and did a good and precise job to prevent that the problem to happen again.

I wanted a light footprint arrangement for a place to live in Dubai and Blueground were perfect. The apartment I selected was in Downtown and once utilities and other costs were taken into account, and considering the flexibility that I needed, I found the BlueGround product to be ideal.
I was pleasantly impressed by the management style and politeness of staff, the ease of arranging the move, and prompt respnse to any issues that arose during the tenancy.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Blueground to others and hope to stay in other apartments that they manage, if the location suits my needs.

I rented a 6th-floor luxury apartment in Barcelona through Blueground at nearly €4,000/month. At the end of October 2025, the apartment was broken into. Intruders gained entry through the window, the apartment was ransacked, and over €33,000 in personal belongings were stolen. Police and forensic reports confirmed the break-in and point of entry.
What happened next was worse than the break-in itself.
Blueground never repaired the broken window. Not the next day, not the next week, not ever during my tenancy. I was left living in a 6th-floor apartment with a shattered window and destroyed locks after a confirmed break-in. The apartment was completely exposed and unsafe.
They did not offer alternative accommodation. I had to leave for my own safety and pay for hotels out of pocket.
They could not provide my insurance policy information for days after the break-in. When I finally obtained it myself from the insurer, I discovered Blueground had chosen the cheapest coverage possible (€8,000 total, €2,000 per item) for a luxury apartment, declared on my behalf that I owned nothing over €2,000 without ever asking me, and never gave me access to the insurance app where I could have registered my valuables. They also never sent me the policy details, which was their obligation under our lease agreement.Instead of helping, Blueground banned me from the app during an active dispute, cutting off my only communication channel.
Run away from these people.

UPDATE - Blueground's response below contains false statements that contradict police reports, forensic evidence, their own insurer's findings, their own employees' messages, and all documented communication.
Blueground claims the break-in occurred during a "party." This is false. All communications with blue ground acknowledged it as a "security breach" with "forced entry."
Blueground claims I "did not grant access" for window repairs. Also false.
Blueground then confirms in their own reply that the window was only repaired "once you checked out." Thank you for publicly confirming the apartment was left with a shattered 6th-floor window for the entire remainder of my tenancy after a confirmed break-in.
