Outstanding!

NSP (The Flightcase Company) go above and beyond to deliver high quality, bespoke cases. I can't fault their service or product. Exceptional and highly recommended. Ask for James.

fine

more options on colour would be nice.
mine was a bargain bin ebay purchase. it's fine but too big for what I need...it would have been too expensive to buy the correct case.

Hi Nick,
Thanks for the review.
Unfortunately as the item was a clearance 'off the shelf' flight case, colour and size were out of our control.
Our custom flight cases are built to size and available in almost any colour.
Glad we were able to save you some money though!

Very high quality for a good price.

I purchased a flightcase / pedalboard for my nova system. The size was spot on it was really well made and the Velcro is very good quality and sticks my Nova system like sh*t to a blanket. All this at a great price.

Hi,
I'm sorry we had an issue with shipping. From looking at the information, the case was routed to the wrong location and then we had UPS pick it up again and redeliver.
I'm sorry your experience wasn't up to your expectations, but i am glad you are happy with the product once it had been delivered.
Thank you for your review and feedback.

Flexible and willing to meet awkward deadlines

Most flight case companies give you silly lead times like 3 weeks for a build. If you're working in events - you know how hectic and last minute clients can be. When a last minute build was required, the flight case company flexed and were willing to deliver my build in less than a week.

Would be glad to work with these guys again.

Yep, Another Disaster

From the ratings here it seems this company is either a hit or a huge disaster. I've had one disaster after another with them and frankly I'm sick of it so here's my story:

I bought two of their travel cases to use for getting my company's iMacs to and from events in one piece. I paid a ridiculous amount in shipping just to get them over to the US.

And now, a little over three months later, BOTH cases are broken and they've damaged the very expensive computers inside.

When we wrote to ask about a refund they told us: "By the looks of the photographs the case has been treated very badly. Any object treated this badly is going to have damage, the purpose of the flight case is to help protect the equipment if dropped or treated badly. We can not offer you a replacement free of charge on this occasion."

So the purpose of the case is to protect our computer if it is treated badly, they say that it has been treated badly, but our computers have been damaged and therefore not protected by the case, and even though that is the purpose of the case, they cannot offer us even a replacement.

...Uhh, okay that makes no sense.

0 stars for their products, 0 stars for their customer service.

The customer provided us with images of the damage, the damage was so bad it was obvious it was mishandled by the courier company. If you crash your car the bumper will help to protect but it will obviously become damaged. We gave a very fair response to this.

Disasterous

I ordered a pair of turntable flight cases and paid an extra £7.50 to have them delivered within 2 days, as I would be travelling soon after. The next day the order status was updated as "Shipped", which seemed reassuring. Fast-forward four days and I still hadn't received my item. I called them up and asked what the status was and they told me to wait until 5pm, by which time the item might arrive. Nothing came, so I called them up again. The guy said he couldn't find the tracking details for my order and would call me back later. After many further phone calls I was informed that the item appeared to be out of stock, and they weren't sure why it was marked as shipped.

So, they listed an item as "in stock" when it was not, marked it as "shipped" when it had not been dispatched, and wasted my time only for me to ask for a refund. The man at customer service was apologetic, but this is not how you run a business.

There was an error in our stock and unfortunately was not relayed back to the office until it was too late. A simple error resulted in a bad experience. We do apologies for this and would like to offer you 20% off your next purchase if you wish to make it.

Awesome Service!

Ordered the last two flight cases from this company and the service has been fantastic. My first flight case was for a marshall jam 900, delivered in good time and excellent build quality. When I upgraded my head I returned to this company for a second time but have had some problems with the measurements due to the manufacturers of my amp not providing the correct ones. As I measured the head myself, I made a couple of mistakes, and have had to return the case a couple of times. However, the guys here have really helped me with this and have been very patient and have resolved this problem for me. Awesome work guys I'll be shopping here again for sure!

A real disaster !

EDIT: 15th december 2012:
After contacting the company by e-mail, a manager asked me the dimensions of the gaps between the case and the amp, to send me some custom cut self adhesive foam that would fill the case. I sent him all those informations on .... I haven't received anything at all for the moment... So I sent some e-mails to ask news, but I haven't got any answer either... Apparently, according to their comment, the company was ''happy to send a replacement case that fits for purpose''... What a joke !!! Shame on you ! Definitely !

Monday, February 27, 2012:
First, my order has been lost. After one week, if I didn't have contacted the customer service, I'd not have it yet because nobody had noticed... So it took nearly 2 weeks to arrive!
Then, my amplifier head moves inside the case when I carry it !!! That's exactly what a tube amplifier needs during a journey, isn't it ?
And last but not least, it shouldn't be called "custom built amp head case": it's only a standard-sized head case with some foam stuck to "fit" to the amplifier. But "fit" isn't the correct term: if it fitted correctly, the head wouldn't move inside the case, if you know what I mean...
It's a scandal, especially for the price it costs.

When we send items out, quite often we are not notified by the courier if there any issues, if the item is lost with the courier then nobody knows until the customer chases the order. Shipping times are also extended when shipping outside of the UK. We use dimensions given by the manufacturers, unfortunately sometimes the manufacturers of the customers amp can get it wrong themselves. We do state in our T&C's that the dimensions we use are sourced direct from the manufacturers. We are more then happy to send a replacement case that fits for purpose. Apologies again about this experience and we are happy to give a discount.

I now have tidy effects!

I received my guitar effects case from The Flight Case Company and I can happily report is is top quality.

My precious effects are now safe between stadium gigs and are ready to rock once the lid is removed.

I would recommend their cases to anyone.
