Exeter Gym is a game changer for me. I have one to one PT sessions and as a 73 year old I (and many others) have noticed a remarkable change in my strength and physique. The staff have found a perfect balance between friendliness and professionalism and most importantly I feel safe under their watchful eye. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Great facility and friendly staff. Training regularly with Kate as my PT and making real progress.

Always clean and tidy. Staff very friendly and helpful.

This has to be the best gym in Exeter, it's a cheaper chain but also has loads of equipment and even when it's really busy you can still get on things.
Very friendly staff and good classes that can be tailored to your ability!
I spend a lot of time there now and feel very supported and motivated by Lilie, she really listens and helps wherever she can! Can't wait for my next session!

I have been a member of the Exeter M-B Gym Group for close to 4 months now and have been having weekly PT sessions with Lilie, one of their many knowledgeable and experienced PT’s. Lilie has massively helped me improve my personal fitness, diet and confidence at the gym.

I am in such a better place now than I was 4 months ago, and I certainly would not be where I am now without Lilie, who continually goes above and beyond to help me reach my goals.

I strongly recommend, to anyone who is looking to improve their health or just to stay fit, to come here get in touch with Lilie. She’s incredibly friendly and approachable and will help you move forward with your fitness journey.

She also runs great weekly fitness classes for members of the gym, they’re very fun and also free! I brought my dad to one last week using the Gym Groups guest pass system, and he had a great time!

The gym is big, has an abundance of different machines and equipment to train with and is also always super clean, I have zero complaints! Plus, as much as my review has largely focused on my PT, Lilie, the entire staff are very friendly and all know their stuff. I can’t recommend this gym enough!

Decent gym with various equipment. I've been coming here since August 2023. Too bad that lately there is lack of hygiene, toilets and showers aren't clean.

Very rude customer support very uneducated they didn't want to give me my refund they charged me 26 pounds when I didn't want the gym service on of the employer was Emily

After damaging my back on their cross trainer I was advised by my GP not to use the gym again until better and after I've received the okay from a physiotherapist she has referred me to. I contacted the Gym group for a refund as payment had been taken for another month only a couple of days before this conversation. My membership had not been used for a couple of weeks due to my injury but they refused to refund.
It's all in the T&Cs but it seems very poor customer service so when I'm fit again I won't be going back.

I have no problem with the staff or the gym itself BUT since the start of December/23 when I log on the gym usage shows I attended East Croydon gym once in 2021 . I have never visited this gym, I attend Marsh Barton only about 8 times a month, neither can I book classes. I have tried emailing the company but numerous times but nothing changes . Shame as I have been a member for years and maybe I will go elsewhere.

Scammy company. I have been trying to downgrade my membership for three weeks. Neither app or website works, staff in gym give me a phone number for a billing company who say they can't help, and I get no reply to emails. I'm having to take legal action over such a ridiculous thing because I can't actually speak to anyone who can help. Utterly ridiculous. Scam company, stay away.

Gym shut again utter joke get it sorted.Ime looking forward for us all to get a month free.

I'm using this gym for more than 2 years now,never had any issues until the following, parked my car were I usually park, this particular day wasn't busy at all so plenty of space to park 15/05/2023 at13:25 wasn't even close to yellow lines wasn't blocking anything or anyone, no signs saying people can't park , however there is plenty of signs saying that people can park with The GYM logo and I was using the gym premises as well, still got 60.£ parking fine!! But then gets better or shocking, one member of staff told me that he had one parking fine as well on the same place but they THE GYM can't do nothing about but it, when it's their customers parking space . I'm just going to cancel the membership right now.

Workout great, equipment very good, tidy. WiFi can be patchy and wish unsweetened yanga water was available.

Shocking company. Take your money then does not give you access to the gym. Will be reporting the company

The atmosphere was good equipment was clean and being cleaned by staff staff was helpful and friendly when I asked a question I have always enjoyed coming here always a high standard of everything

Very good gym, by far the best one I've ever used. Equipment is first rate and everywhere is kept very clean. Staff are very pleasant too. The monthly cost is low as well, far cheaper than any comparable gym.
