Here at The Ideal Garden, we've been selling high-quality gardening and landscaping products to customers all over the country for years. Our family-run business developed from our landscaping firm which has been going since the 1980s. We discovered some great landscaping products over the years and decided they were so good that we would start supplying them ourselves. Since then, the online shop side of the business has grown massively - but we still run everything from our central office and storage centre at Calves Lane Farm, maintaining the close-knit family-run style of doing business.

Core Edging - great product
We ordered the sample of core edging and went ahead with it as part of a large garden project. Product is great and just what we were looking for. Delivery times are excellent - delivered the day after we ordered. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to friends and family.

Incorrect information about delivery time
website stated the package would arrive on Thursday, so I took a day off on Friday and Monday so I can do the work in the garden with it. Half day on Friday I called them to chase it up and was told it would be Tuesday or Wednesday. Main reason I chose this company was that they could deliver in time I needed it.

After reviewing your order, we can confirm it was dispatched via next-day delivery. However, due to the size of the item and the delivery address being in Scotland, the courier changed the shipment to their 3-day service after dispatch.
Unfortunately, this was not something we were made aware of at the time, and we completely appreciate that the delivery date shown when ordering influenced your decision to purchase from us.
When you contacted us, our team did their best to explain the situation and apologised for the delay, but unfortunately, once the courier had changed the service, we were unable to get the delivery brought forward.
We’re sorry that on this occasion the delivery did not meet the expectation set when you placed your order. We are also reviewing this internally so that delivery times for this type of order and location are communicated more clearly going forward.

3 Parcels ordered
3 Parcels ordered, only 2 turned up day 1 (parcels 1 & 3) ?? After phone call, parcel 2 turned up day 2 ( but packaging was badly damaged / torn.) I expect not Ideals fault, but it's carrier.

Have used Everedge in the past but this showed up on Google so thought I’d give it a try. Very happy I did. Similar price to the other brand but so much better for locking together. They even supply a tool for bending the tabs, which means I won’t be breaking anymore long nose pliers or flat head screwdrivers. Delivery was quick. And you can specify the delivery date easy enough. Will be using Ideal Garden Shop again in future. Very pleasant experience. Thank you.

The packaging (a box) allowed some spillage from a loose flap. The grass seeds have not yet germinated, so I cannot comment on growth. Otherwise, good.
