Great boots - worth saving up for

I rang in mid September to arrange a visit to buy my wife her 3rd pair of boots, I was told they were in stock for my wife to try on, after a 300 mile round trip then only to be told they weren’t in stock, my wife still wanted another pair even though we had just wasted a journey and a lot of fuel money, I certainly didn’t want to have any because of this.
I ordered the boots and they eventually arrived to SBC late and in the wrong colour, a new pair was ordered and I was offered the originally at half price, £180, so I bought them also,
The boots arrived from Spain to SBC company on 23rd Dec, they were posted to me Via Evri, which there website quotes a “cheap parcel courier service”, this was used for a parcel containing £700 worth of boots posted over the busiest time of the year…on the 29th the parcel arrived but only one pair of boots, I contacted SBC and was told the second pair was taped to the first pair, the tape was a couple of wraps of cheap 25mm wide tape with no strength at all, certainly not good enough, with no chance of finding my boots and the package was lost had nothing written on it, I was quickly given a refund of my £180 even though, they would claim back over £360 on insurance.
Never again.

Best boots, so comfortable, good fit. Easy to connect with company for questions on sizing. Bought 2 pairs, one for myself that fit perfectly. One pair was a gift that I didn't get right cause i was guessing a little bit, but help with exchange was great and everything shipped pretty fast. I feel the quality of the leather and craftsmanship is better than anything I've seen state-side and these will last a long time. Definitely one of my favorite purchases

The boots are a fantastic design & style however the leather of mine went rather odd after a while even though I had followed care instructions & only worn them for best. The after sales was unsatisfactory, they fobbed me off with this is normal & they go like nubuck, if I’d wanted nubuck I would have bought nubuck!

Really great service from start to finish.

Just don't wait until you need a pair of boots, order them now. My made to measure mock croc boots took a long time to arrive and updates on their progress wasn't what I would have hoped for. However, they looked as good as I expected when I received them. I have received a number of complimentary comments about the colour and detail. What I am particularly pleased with is just how good they are for riding in. Made to measure really makes a difference and worth the extra £s. I think I might order another pair?
