This is my first time I used them to clean my 66 panels and they did a great job.I went in a 5 year agreement that includes 2 cleans a year.

I’ve been trying to be a customer of TGP for about two months now. Had a call about fitting pigeon protection to my solar panels, had the engineer out, expected a quote. Nothing. Asked for a call back, nothing, left voicemails, nothing. Got a quote on the phone, asked for it to be emailed. Nothing. Promised an email by the end of the day. Nothing. It shouldn’t be this hard to give someone your business.

Each year they come to service my system, they persuade me to spend money, this year I had optimizers fitted as I was told my system had high voltage, last year I paid what I thought was more than necessary, and again this year, I am not an electrician so I am having to trust that I am not being sold something I don't really need. When I purchased the batteries, I was given a 10 year guarantee. ! I cannot afford to keep paying out money every year

Adding an extra battery to my system took little more that 15 minutes and was done and in use in that time. I am very happy with the service and the continuing support I receive from TGP

I was out when they called so gave instructions over the phone to gain access. Job completed leaving me very happy

NOT MUCH TO REVIEW THIS TIME. THE TECHNICIAN WAS IN, CHANGED THE BATTERY AND OUT AGAIN IN ABOUT TEN MINUTES. NO PROBLEMS AT ALL.

Timing was not great and was waiting for installation team for a while but the job got done in the end
Good to use a company who are still running! We have had tgp look after our systems for the past 3 years.
Can not fault the service, we had our solar panels cleaned recently.
Recently we took out maintenance on our solar panels and we have had a battery which has not worked for sometime replaced so its been a pleasure working with them.
I had a problem with one of my batteries. This was taken away and sorted out promptly and returned in good working order. This was followed up with a check on the system and the field worker who visited was helpful and informative so that I now have maintenance cover on my solar thermal system.
Always helpful admin contacts and prompt service.
No complaints the guys sent out worked effortlessly till very late to make sure our solar panel was working again.
After a fee hiccups our battery system is now working.
Had a heat pump installed from think green and the installation was very smooth.
Ripped off my elderly parents with scare tactics.
Cold called with some story about checking solar panel installations for a government scheme(this is a lie no scheme exists).
Told them their inverter needed changing and it could cause the house to burn down, signed them up to a deal to a new inverter and a maintenance plan. For nearly £4000.
My parents are getting towards 80 and it frightened them to death thinking the house may burn down, scare tactics to get a sale.
The inverter was fitted and the panels were meant to be cleaned, they had no ladders so had to borrow my dads stepladder and hose etc and didn’t want to go into the roof as it was slippy.
The old inverter which was a superior model was taken away so we will never now know if it was in fact still working fine as they’d experienced any issues in their system before this cold call.
They came back two weeks later and said there was another issue which would cost another £1800 to fix I was at my parents at this point and they told him no they weren’t paying any more and he was a cowboy at which he became aggressive rude and told them the options are to get it done or take the solar panels off the roof.
I then learnt the whole story and said to get another engineer to get a second opinion. Another engineer from another company came and said everything was fine but the new inverter was inferior and shouldn’t have cost anymore than £800 fitted.
My parents at this point had lost all trust in TGP and phoned and complained. This got them nowhere.
They contacted citizens advice who put them in contact with trading standards. They knew about TGP and had other similar complaints on file.
In the meantime a letter was sent to TGP requesting a part refund of £2500 as my mum wanted to cancel the 10 year maintenance contract as they had no trust in them.
TGP contacted my mum and agreed to the refund over the phone and said it would be sent to her bank in 5-7 days. Nearly two weeks has gone by and no refund received my mother contacted them again today and they have completely gone back on this and the lady said she’d speak to the MD and get back to her so they’ve lied again.
I’d warn everyone from using this company I wish my parents had told me and we could have got a second opinion but they scared them there and then into paying all the money upfront.
Very questionable company preying on old people who really can’t afford to lose this much money. They should be ashamed of themselves.
I’m unsure of the exact date but this happened round about mid October/early November 2025.

TGP were initially slow to respond at first, which was a bit frustrating . However, once the engineers attended the property everything improved. Steve (for heat pump) and Alfie (for batteries and inverter)were polite, professional and clearly understood the product, taking time to explain everything thoroughly. In the end , the quality of service made the earlier delays worthwhile.

They made an illegal call to my TPS listed phone number trying to persuade me to replace my perfectly working solar panel invertor, because it's out of warranty. Reported to the relevant authorities.
I wouldn't trust a company using illegal advertising techniques to do work on my house.
Update: The TPS organisation have already been in touch with Think Green Partners with the details of my complaint, and have asked for my number to be supressed. No more action should be needed on my part.

I don't know if to give 1 or 5 stars so have gone in the middle at present. Without doubt I would give 5 starts to the actual workers who carry out installations as they are very professional. Now to my quandary: Cxxxe visited me yesterday as part of my annual maintenance plan. He checked the system and told me that the batteries have been tripping due to power surges from the mains. This, he said, could cause damage to the batteries and to solve this I would need a new fuse box. My old one is over 20 yrs old and, he said, that in any case I would have to replace it before moving house to bring it up to current standards. He said I needed a new fuse box ASAP to avoid any further possible damage to my batteries (of which I have 3 costing £15k). I therefore had a new fuse box installed today costing nearly £2.5k. I am left wondering how, from the inspection, he found my batteries had been tripping. He said that remote monitoring had shown these trips but nothing had been done about it until he arrives and tells me I need to do something about it asap. Feels odd to me. TGP phoned after C's inspection and asked if I had felt pressurised. I said no, but, then saying something is required asap is a sort of its own indirect pressure. TGP have phoned me since my original review and although I'm very happy to have a new fuse the speed of which I needed one is open to question especially at a financially difficult time leading up to Xmas.
