Great customer service for a first time user posting a ticketed event. The platform was a little clunky for me to figure out but when I reached out to customer support to ask questions, they answered so quickly!!

Scammers can post events, difficult to get help
I purchased tickets to an event that turned out to not exist. It was a guy collecting sales at huge markup to then try tout tickets in bulk. He didnt even have the tickets to tout yet and was using the ticket fairy sales to pre-raise funds for his scheme. I managed to uncover all this and provide the evidence, including direct confirmation from the venue in question, that this was not a legitimate event. Ticket Fairy, who had been very responsive until that point then went silent, ignoring my requests for a refund for several days. Seems tickey fairy's approach to enforcing their 'no refunds' policy is to simply ignore the requests regardless of the context.
After a few days of hounding the scammer and outing him in a few different places, and him threatening to sue me if I didn't stop - he agreed to refund me if I remained quiet on the matter. I agreed to this as I was keen to get the £1100 back I had paid. The scammer emailed his contact at Ticket Fairy asking them to refund me, a day went by unacknowledged, so I prompted, unacknowledged again. Then I left this stinking review - I was contacted via trustpilot for details within 20mins and emailed by the scammers contact within the hour, offering the refund in exchange for changing this review.
I now have the funds back, and I have tempered this review somewhat as I finally have a resolution - however I would be wary using this site as they do not appear to be on the side of customers and I had to go to extraordinary lengths to reverse a scam transaction. Given there was no proactive contact from ticketfairy once the scam even was removed to inform customers or issue refunds, I can only imagine that anyone else who purchased may still have their money unaccounted for.
