Payed for item that said in stock ships…

Payed for item that said in stock ships same day. LOLthey apparently had little to no stock. Sent me my order confirmation. Then radio silence. Check order status the next day and low and behold my order was canceled. Not even a email from these JACK WAGONS telling me so. Avoid.

They are pretty terrible

They are pretty terrible. A very disorganized order processing system. You order the item, you pay for the item, they confirm the order and then cancel your order with no explanation.

Worst service

I placed an order on their website at10/02/2020. There are two units in the picture of their website. But I only receive one. I called the customer server (888-278-4437) at 17:20 Oct 6, 2020 CT. The representative was very inpatient after she repeated the email address twice while I was not following. She even said "Oh my God" to show her impatience. I was very angry and asked aloud why she was not patient. I said I want to complain about her and need her ID. She refused to provide me any information and muted me for 10 minutes then hung up.

I wrote an email to customer service to return the item. My case was not approved until I called the credit card company to dispute the transaction 30 days later.

Now my case is approved but they won't refund my original shipping charge and may charge me15% restocking fee. It's their misleading picture that causes all the issues. It's no reason to charge me any fees. I called them again today, and my call was cut off after 10 mins waiting. Tiger Direct Buss, you are definitely cutting you customers.

DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM unless you want the same experience as me.

Worst customer service ever

Ordered 2 monitors for a PC setup and found out they were just terrible monitors. So I called for an RA#. They said they would get it to me in a few days. I called again the following week. Then the week after that. Then the week after that. Then I finally got my RA#s and sent them back. UPS delivered them and it's been 2 weeks and nothing. No refund, no email saying they got them and are processing it, nothing. Don't waste your time and money on them, they're just barely above being a scam site.

What happened to Tiger Direct? Once great now not so great

I have been purchasing merchandise from Tiger Direct for longer then I can remember. I had 10/15/2020 purchased several items. Two SSD hard drives, two mountain kits , and one cloning/transfer software utility.
I receiver everything but the cloning software utility. There were three separate tracking numbers. I waited a few days and inquired about the missing item that by tracking number indicated it was sent to FedEx but nothing since. I was first told to wait 5 business days and after I called back was told to wait another 10 business days. This is absolutely ludicrous. Their customer service just can't understand that they lost a package and I have to wait weeks for them to decide where it is before they will send me the merchandise which sold for $ 22.10.
My total order came to $ 273.84 and Tiger can just send me the cloning software which is needed to use the hard drive also bought on the same order. If this was Amazon or Newegg they would have replaced the missing item without hesitation.

Please don't do business with TigerDirect Business

Please don't do business with this company. I ordered a document camera which the site stated as in-stock and "...usually ships the same day". Once I realized the item wasn't in-stock I contacted the company to cancel the order and received an email confirming the cancellation. Five days later my account was charged and the cancelled item was delivered. I refused delivery and opened a dispute with PayPal for which I am still awaiting the outcome.

Great customer service

I was very happy with the customer service I received ordering my computer. When I placed the order it was on backorder. I when I called to check on the order I noticed that the price had dropped. The representative was able to cancel my previous order and placed a new order at the lower price, and was still able to get the computer in a reasonable time frame. She made the transaction very easy for me, and I was very happy with the service.

Bait and Switch

I was looking to purchase Microsoft Office Business Premium which comes with added security features. TigerDirect labeled the product as the premium version and mentions this several times on the page that it is Premium. However, the description is missing the security features that the premium version has.

I called to clarify, she informed me this was actually the standard version. I stated that she may want to notify someone that their description is wrong and needs to be updated and she responded that it is the Microsofts fault and they sent the information that way. She said that I can call them and tell them. If this is on their website, it is their responsibility to make sure the information is accurate, not mine! They are shady and untrustworthy.

As bad as it gets

As bad as it gets. After shipping but before delivery, package was requested by Tigerdirect to be returned to shipper. I contacted them and they said I would be refunded. I was never refunded so I disputed charge on credit card . Tigerdirect claimed the dispute was not legitimate providing proof of delivery. I had to contact bank again to point out the support for the charge showed the package returned to shipper. Will never purchase from them again.

Avoid Tiger Direct and Back Market

I bought a phone tyhrough Back Marketfrom Tiger Direct. Out of the box the screen was grayed out. It also didn't work. I sent it back and received the explanation that iPhones regularily have grayed out screens. As for the performance, he recommended "a DFU restore which will completely re-download the operating system in case there was a faulty setup during manufacturing." I thought that the phone was completely vetted and operational! I am not the tech here. To top it off, they held on to my SIM card for TWO weeks, making it impossible to use any cellphone.

Finally.....it was about time.

To update my original review: I finally was able to get a laptop computer from TigerDirect. However, I had to get involved, again, with TD’s Customer Service in order to get that order released and shipped. A lot of unnecessary hassle, the computer that I ordered from the other source did not operate properly; and, the computer that I finally ended up with from TigerDirect is a complete compromise to what I originally ordered twice and never did get. Business customer beware.

Awful customer service/broken computer

I bought a refurbished computer from them. The computer was fine but the keyboard was a piece of junk.

I called their "customer service" line 3 times. First time a guy said he'd call me back with a solution and I never heard from him.

The other two times the call dropped while I was talking to the person. Sounded like the person was in some third-world country.

I forgot my password twice but never got the email after I requested it. Reached out on Twitter and never heard back then.

Even filled out their form asking for help and never got a reply. Their "customer service" is beyond awful.

Edit: Turns out, the DVD player in the computer is broken and won't play anything. This company sucks.

Misrepresented a refurbished laptop as new

I recently purchased a Lenovo Laptop from Tigerdirect. It sounded great, but it wasn't.
First the Laptop arrives in a damaged open box delivered by UPS. I would have refused it, but they just left it. So I take pictures and email Tigerdirect Customer Service regarding the apparent issues. When I finally reach Customer Service by phone on Monday I'm informed that my Laptop is actually a REFURBISHED unit, NOT new as I was led to believe by the Tigerdirect website. Thus began the endless saga if misinformation and disinformation from the Customer Service agents. I was eventually told to wait for a refund authorization and a prepaid return label. But none of this ever materialized and was given new instructions to email an entirely different department.
So I am stuck with a refurbished laptop that is no bargain and no refund yet.
BUYER BEWARE! I am hoping I get resolution through that INSIGHT group or a claim with PayPal.
I feel I have been defrauded!

3 Months and still waiting

I purchased a refurbished HP Desktop for 599 with an extended warranty back in May. Order R4641954.
I had it shipped to a UPS store we use for our business shipping needs. Tiger Direct uses UPS for shipping as well. Tracking showed it delivered but the guys at the UPS store said it was not. There were no signature or scanned confirmation that could confirm the computer had arrived at the UPS Store. I was told by Tiger Direct there will be an investigation and it takes up to 10 days. Since then I have followed up by email on this twice per week for over 10 weeks asking for either another computer or a refund. They continue to give me a run around stating that there is an investigation. I still have received neither the computer nor a refund.
I ordered the desktop computer to see if we wanted to start using Tiger Direct from now on for our clients. I am a partner and purchaser for an IT and Electronics company in San Diego. We can not afford to have a supplier handle a situation like this ever. I have been a purchaser for over 15 years and never had such bad customer service by any supplier.
Tiger Direct has lost the chance to earn our business which is over 800 computers per year for our clients.
They may be cheap but service is everything in IT.

If I could leave a no star I would…

If I could leave a no star I would have. Story is too long but after speaking to many supposed customer service to get a return label (RMA) and speaking with a manager Mr. Rufino, 3 weeks in and still have not received my return label. I will never do any business with them again and I suggest you do not either. This is for a Viewsonic Monitor I received that did not work. I didn't really want a Viewsonic but all the others that I did want were out of stock. hmmm. Ordered from Amazon the monitor I did want, $200 cheaper and it works great. A 27" Asus.

Horrible and I mean horrible customer…

Horrible and I mean horrible customer service. They do not stand behind anything. I received a computer that does not work and they sent me to talk to joy systems which is even worse customer service. I’m going to have to call credit card company to dispute the charge against them because I can’t even speak to polite person! The customer service rep just hung up on me saying I was rude because she told me I have to go through their process and just wait and I explained I’m a functioning business and can’t wait for them to deside what they want to do. Yes you read that right she said you are rude and hung up. I’ve spent tens of thousands with this company will never spend a penny again! Good luck with fighting my dispute!
