Delivery takes much longer than stated.
Price for delivery seems okay to me, but I ordered it on Monday, was told 1-2 working days for delivery, and when I called after 2 days I was told it would instead be delivered on Friday. I had to call them again on Friday as there was again no update from them, and now it's being delivered in a 3 hour window between 4:20pm and 7:20pm on a Friday, wasting yet another day. Had I known it would be 5 days for delivery, I wouldn't have ordered with them, as I needed this earlier than that. Not being able to trust delivery times means I wouldn't buy again from here.

To explain what happened on our side: your order was originally released with our external courier (DPD) as a standard package delivery. However, we then noticed that one of the items, the skirting, was too long to be shipped safely with them. For that reason, the delivery had to be moved to our own truck service instead. Unfortunately, our trucks were already fully booked, which is why the delivery date was pushed back more than expected.
That said, we fully accept that this should have been communicated to you clearly and proactively, rather than you having to chase for updates. For that, we sincerely apologise.
Your feedback is very important to us, we have forwarded your comments to our management. We hope we’ll have the chance to provide you with a much better experience in the future.

Extremely disappointing service
Very difficult to deal with and atrocious customer service. Very poor management and absolutely no communication from them when a complaint is made. Would absolutely not recommend them at all.
In response to your reply. I find it hard to believe you support customers when I left numerous messages asking for a call back and not once did I receive a response. In fact, I was informed my a member of your management that they don't like me and wouldn't help me!! I wanted to speak to someone in your store regarding all of my complaints but again I have yet to receive any response to my messages.

To clarify the situation from our side: when you contacted us regarding the replacement part, we did our best to help and sourced a part based on the information available. Unfortunately, it later became clear that a different component was required. At that point, we advised that either the fitter contact us directly to clearly identify the exact part needed, or that the faulty part be brought into the store so we could send it to the supplier for verification. This is the most reliable way to ensure the correct component is provided, rather than continuing to guess and risk further delays or inconvenience for you.
We genuinely try to support our customers and resolve issues as quickly and accurately as possible, and we’re sorry if our communication came across otherwise. If you would still like assistance, you are very welcome to bring the part into the store or have your fitter contact us, and we will be happy to continue working toward a solution with our supplier.

We purchased beautiful tiles from Tile Merchant and are very happy with them. However, the 2 stars is for one of the workers in the trade office who is condescending and unhelpful to non-tradies, which we have experienced a few times.
